1st Day: Trabzon - Skopje - Bitola - Resen - Ohrid
Meeting at the Ajet Airlines counter in the departure terminal of Trabzon Airport 3 hours before the flight. Departing from Trabzon to Skopje with Ajet Airlines' scheduled direct flight. After approximately two hours of a comfortable journey, we arrive in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. After the entry procedures, we move with our private vehicle to the tour of Resen and Bitola, known for its magnificent nature and historical richness. We embark toward Bitola, which was once one of the most important cultural and trade centers of the Ottoman Empire. Upon arrival in Bitola, we visit the Military Academy where the great leader Atatürk studied and the Atatürk Museum from the outside. In this magical city, we will also explore historical artifacts from the Ottoman era such as the Turkish Bazaar, Bedesten, Ishak Pasha Mosque, and New Mosque. While feeling the historical texture of Bitola, you will have the chance to take a pleasant walk in the nostalgic streets of the city. Following a short break here, we continue to Resen, where we glimpse the Palace of Resneli Niyazi Bey, an important personality in Balkan history. Resen offers a captivating atmosphere with both its nature and traces of the Ottoman era. After our tour, we head toward Ohrid. Breathtaking views will accompany us along the way. Once we arrive in Ohrid, we will conduct a tour to explore the historic city of Ohrid, which was once an important base for the Ottomans in the Balkans. During our tour, we will see significant sites such as the Statue of Saints Cyril and Methodius, believed to have developed the Cyrillic Alphabet in the 9th century, the Church of St. Sophia, and the Roman-era Ancient Theater. Additionally, we will stroll in the heart of the city, Chinar Square, and have the opportunity to visit the Turkish Bazaar from the old Ottoman period. You may visit the Halveti Tekke and experience the city's cultural fabric up close. We will then explore the New Bazaar and Ohrid Market to witness the daily life of the locals. Finally, Ohrid's famous lake and its breathtaking views will accompany our tour. After the tour, we will have free time and transfer to our hotel. Overnight and dinner will be at our hotel. After breakfast, we leave our hotel and embark on an exciting journey to Sveti Naum, where the source of Ohrid Lake and the St. Naum Monastery are located, referred to as "A Piece of Heaven in the Balkans." In this enchanting place, you will have the opportunity to capture the unique beauty of nature in photographs. During our free time, we will enjoy exploring this historical and natural wonder. After unforgettable memories and great photos, we continue to explore North Macedonia's remarkable nature and cultural treasures. Our first stop is Tetovo (Kalkandelen), one of North Macedonia's eye-catching towns. Here, we will visit the Alaca Mosque, one of the most colorful and impressive mosques in the Balkans. Built in the 15th century, this mosque will mesmerize you with its vibrant colors and intricate decorations. While exploring this exquisite example of Ottoman architecture, we will take a journey into history. After our visit in Tetovo, we head towards Matka Canyon, accompanied by lush mountains. Are you ready to explore Matka Canyon, located amidst the enchanting forests and wide pastures of Vodno Mountain? This natural wonder, covering approximately 5,000 hectares, will take you to mystical monasteries from the Middle Ages and peace-inducing lake views. You can observe the endemic plant and animal species of the region while walking on the rugged cliffs. Hiking on green trails is the best way to connect with nature for nature lovers. After exploring Matka Canyon, we head towards Skopje. Upon our arrival in Skopje, our first stop is the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the city, built in 1492. Then, we will visit the Murat Pasha Mosque, constructed in the 15th century, notable for its ornaments and architecture from the Ottoman period. During our tour, we will also see Kapan Han and Sulu Han, beautiful examples of Ottoman period inns, where merchants once stayed and traded. Following this, we will visit the Stone Bridge, which has become a symbol of Skopje. This bridge, built in the 15th century, connects both banks of the Vardar River. Walking from the Stone Bridge, we continue our tour by seeing the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods along the banks of the Vardar River. During our riverside walk, we will pass through Macedonia Square, the largest and central point of Skopje, surrounded by modern buildings. Here, we will encounter the statue of Alexander the Great and other monuments. Next, we will see the Ottoman Bridge from the 15th century from the outside and visit Davut Pasha Hamam to once again feel the splendor of the Ottoman period. Continuing our exploration towards Skopje’s Turkish Bazaar, before reaching the bazaar, we will see the Clock Tower, one of Skopje’s landmarks built in the 16th century. We will also visit Sultan Murat Mosque and Isa Bey Mosque, early Ottoman Empire mosques that are important parts of the city’s Islamic heritage and stand out with their architecture. Finally, we will have free time in the Turkish Bazaar, where you can find many products from traditional handicrafts to souvenirs. After a pleasant time in the bazaar, we will transfer to Restaurant Gardenia for the Balkan Night. Afterward, we will be transferred to our hotel and then retreated to our rooms. Overnight will be at our hotel in Skopje.

During our visit to the historical heritage of the city, we will also visit the Tomb of Sultan Murad Hüdavendigâr, who was killed in the Kosovo Plain during the Kosovo Battle of 1389, giving us a chance to commemorate this significant historical event and his place in Ottoman history. Our first stop is Počitelj, known as a Turkish Village, where we will visit the historically preserved area and see the structures built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. After this visit, we go to Blagaj, the birthplace of the Buna River, Europe’s strongest water source. After a short free time in this magnificent natural setting, we head towards Mostar. In Mostar, we will see the Mostar Bridge, built by Architect Hayreddin in 1557. This bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture, was destroyed by Croatian artillery in 1992 but was reconstructed with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey and re-opened in 2004. Next, we will visit the Koski Mehmet Paşa Mosque. Afterward, we head to Sarajevo. Upon arrival, Sarajevo, which has historically been the cultural capital of the Balkans and marked the beginning of World War I when Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary was assassinated there in 1914, will be explored. During the tumultuous wars between Serbs, Croats, and Bosnians in 1992, Sarajevo suffered severe damage; however, it largely preserved its beauty. Upon our arrival in Belgrade, we will embark on a panoramic city tour where we can feel the historical atmosphere and discover the fusion of Belgrade's past with the present. Next, we will head to one of the most impressive points of the city, where the Sava River meets the Danube River. It will be a pleasure to explore this unique view, which has been the focal point of many conquests and victories throughout history. While discovering this ancient city, you will encounter Belgrade Fortress, which served as a supply center for the Ottoman navy, and we'll see important points such as the Kale Square and Stone Square. During our tour, we will also visit the Tomb of Şehit Ali Pasha, one of the key figures from the Ottoman period. 7th Day: Belgrade - Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad – Tuzla
After breakfast, our first stop will be Sremski Karlovci. In this beautiful town, the peace agreement was signed between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary, Venice, and Poland in 1699 after 72 days of negotiations. During our visit, we will see the four-gated location where the agreement was signed, along with the square, the four lion fountains, the historical high school, and the Orthodox and Catholic churches. After a coffee break, we continue on our way. On the way, we will see Petrovaradin Fortress, the Belgrade Gate, the clock tower, the upper city, the long barrack, and Leopold’s gate. Then we arrive in Novi Sad. Vojvodina is a multi-ethnic province in northern Serbia, the most developed economically, with its capital being Novi Sad. During our walking tour here, we will see the Freedom Square, the People's Theatre, the Danube Street and its promenade, the Svetozar Miletić Statue, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox St. George Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and the Synagogue panoramically. • Weather Conditions Depending on the Season: Weather conditions in the Balkans can be variable at certain times. Therefore, appropriate clothing choices can make this situation more comfortable.
• Accommodation and Service Quality: The hotels included in the tour are selectively chosen from options that reflect the region's character and local culture, but hotels in some small towns may not offer facilities as extensive as luxury hotels in Turkey. General Information
GENERAL TERMS
1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation is not ensured for the trip, the Agency may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The entire cost of the tour will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour, domestic flight connections purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest. However, if the visa service has been used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest, these services cannot be refunded as they are considered utilized. If a visa application has not been made, visa and travel health insurance will be canceled, and a refund will be made. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independently of the Agency, the guest cannot claim any refund from the Agency if the trip is canceled by the Agency. The guest accepts that any material and moral losses due to the cancellation of the tour are accepted in advance when purchasing the tour, and the Agency cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation is not ensured for the trip, the Agency reserves the right to show good faith by not canceling the tour. In this case, since the tour would be provided individually for the guest, the included guide service in the package will only cover the airport transfers for the overseas departure and return.
Cancellation and Change
4- In our tours, transportation tickets are arranged at the time of reservation. In case of cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure date, the non-refundable ticket prices will be reflected as a penalty.
5- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying the Agency in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding airline tickets that have been paid for and/or pledged by the Agency. In case of less than 31 days remaining until the start of the trip, the guest may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour price from the airline ticket price, and in case of 15 days or less before the start of the trip, they may cancel by paying the full price of the tour as a penalty. In case of a cancellation request, the cancellation and refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connections, visa services, travel health insurance may vary according to the time of cancellation request, so it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund. The Agency cannot provide any guarantee regarding the refund of additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program may be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of the museums and archaeological sites in the places to be visited and the weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and involve sightseeing through the vehicle without museum or archaeological site admissions, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, will not be the Agency's responsibility if they cannot be carried out due to local authorities not allowing entrance on the designated day and time, closed roads due to any event, or if it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot where access to closed roads or vehicle entry restrictions exist.
8- Our guides may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours based on the number of participants and the status of the museums and archaeological sites, and this is also valid for changes in flight times.
9- Important points to consider for our tours conducted by Speed Boats include: no heavy meals and excessive water consumption right before getting on the boat. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints and pregnant guests must inform their guides of their conditions.
10- There is no refund for services such as tours or meals included in the prices if participation is not provided.
About Flights
11- The Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply.
12- There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to inform of these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has accepted the risk of changes/cancellations in flight times when purchasing the trip.
13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.
14- According to airline regulations, return flights purchased as round-trip will be canceled by the airline if the outbound flight is not used.
15- Check-in and boarding procedures that need to be carried out for those participating in flights are personal responsibilities, and these must be conducted by the guest at the airports, from the relevant airline counters or online through the airline's websites before the flight.
16- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information boards within the area. This information should be monitored by the guests themselves.
17- The Agency is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the indicated airport during the hours reported by the airlines, who fail to carry out check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. Any costs related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region for those who miss their flights will be borne by them.
18- The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this baggage weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.
19- For guests wishing to upgrade their airline tickets using miles (to business or first class), the upgrade processes can be carried out based on availability with the airline after the tickets are issued. No guarantee is given for miles on each flight. Please check whether the program tickets are in an upgradeable class.
20- Some airlines may charge extra fees for meals and online check-in services.
Other Matters
21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by the guest in communication with the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of the Agency will apply.
22- In cases where only category information is provided and/or options are presented for the same destination without specifying hotel names in the tour program, the Agency will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip departure.
23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., the hotels may be located further away than the specified distances or km. In such cases, the Agency will inform guests 15 days before the departure date.
24- When registering for the purchased tour, it is necessary for the guest to accurately enter/declare their name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport. Flight tickets will be issued according to this information. Penalty fees for any cancellations or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
25- To use your mobile phones abroad, please check with the relevant company before leaving Turkey to ensure that your phone is activated for international use.
26- The check-in time for accommodation is 3:00 PM, and the check-out time is 12:00 PM.
27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be reported to the hotel by the Agency. The reserved rooms will be tried to be aligned with the preferences of the guest depending on the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests is subject to availability at the time of hotel check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency.
28- Breakfasts offered at hotels may differ from the rich breakfast traditionally served in Turkish cuisine. They are generally served as limited options typically consisting of butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall designated for groups.
29- In some cases, instead of a double bed, there may be two single beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be combined if necessary.
30- Child and extra bed policies may vary depending on each hotel and room type.
31- All extra beds and baby cots are provided upon request and subject to availability at the hotel and must be confirmed by the hotel.
32- The capacity for extra beds or baby cots in the room is a maximum of 1.
33- In triple rooms, there is an extra bed, and the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of folding beds and coach beds. Our guests state that they accept the possible crowding and bed type due to the extra beds added to the standard room in triple room and/or child reservations.
34- In hotel reservations, if the number of children and their ages staying with adults are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In this case, the responsibility falls on the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification for children.
35- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, a separate bed for the child may not be available. Child prices are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts are only applicable for one "single child" staying with two adults.
36- Daily exchange rates are reflected in the Turkish Lira prices. The applicable rates are the ones at the time of payment. Additional requests, and some extra services (mini bar, ironing, etc.) provided at the hotel may incur extra charges. These expenses are not included in the purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
37- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes being applied will be collected from the guest by the hotel during entry or exit.
38- The travel distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may increase due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the visited country, construction works, and road conditions.
39- The Agency may change the order of cities in the program without disrupting its content and may also change the main airline to be used if deemed necessary.
40- Personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of participants in the tour are the sole responsibility of the guests, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten belongings are found, the costs incurred for delivery to the country and/or the owner will be borne by the owner of the items.
41- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports for any health issues.
42- For any additional expenses, upon checking into the hotel, a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit may be required by the hotel. The return of the requested deposit at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no intervention in this matter.
Visa and Passport
1- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the travel end date.
2- To ensure that an entry-exit stamp can be applied to your passport at customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport.
3- Being exempt from a visa or having obtained a visa for the countries included in this tour does not guarantee entry/exit; the passport police have the authority to refuse entry/exist into the country, and the Agency cannot be held responsible for this; the responsibility lies with the traveler.
4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and intend to travel using another country's passport are required to consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the country of travel; otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for any resulting issues.
5- To avoid issues with customs police at the border of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, and/or otherwise damaged passports, it is necessary to renew the passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
6- Guests under 18 years old traveling alone or with only one parent should take care as there may be a possibility of being asked to present a consent document showing both parents' permission at border controls. Guests under 18 and their parents are advised to pay attention to this matter.
