Day 1: Samsun – TZL Airport – Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Meeting at Ajet Airlines counter at Samsun Çarşamba Airport Gidiş Terminal 3 hours before the flight. We depart from Samsun to TZL Airport directly with Ajet Airlines. After approximately a two-hour comfortable journey, we arrive. After the entry procedures into the country, we will transfer to our hotel in Tuzla with our private vehicle waiting at the airport.
Day 2: Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) – Belgrade
After our breakfast in the morning, we depart from our hotel and begin a pleasant journey towards Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Belgrade, which has been one of the most important cultural and strategic centers of the Balkans throughout history, attracts attention with its liveliness, vibrancy, and historical texture today. We will have the opportunity to explore the intersection of Ottoman and European cultures in this enchanting city. After arriving in Belgrade, a panoramic city tour begins, where we will discover the grandeur of the city. Here, you can feel the historical atmosphere and uncover the texture that combines Belgrade's past with its present. Then, we will head to one of the city's most striking points, where the Sava River meets the Danube River. Exploring this region, which has been the focal point of many conquests and victories throughout history, will be a great pleasure. While continuing to explore this ancient city, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was injured for his conquest, but which was destined to be captured by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman, you will encounter the Belgrade Fortress, which was used as a supply center for the Ottoman fleet. While tracing the traces of history in this fortress, we will see important points such as Kale Square and Tašmajdan. During our tour, we will visit the Tomb of Şehit Ali Pasha, an important figure from the Ottoman period. During these visits, you will deeply discover the rich history of Belgrade and gain knowledge about the cultural heritage left from the Ottoman period. Day 3: Belgrade – Sarajevo
After our breakfast, we are headed to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon our arrival, Sarajevo, which has been the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and is historically marked by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary in 1914, igniting World War I, will capture our attention. During the 1992 war, Sarajevo was heavily damaged by the devastating wars among Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks; however, it has managed to preserve much of its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the famous Baščaršija, the historical Ottoman caravanserai Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the religious cosmopolitanism of the city, the Synagogue, the Husein Bey and Ferhadija Mosques, the Latin Bridge where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place in 1914, the Old Library, and the Western-style buildings formed during the 40 years of Austro-Hungarian rule. After breakfast, we depart from Sarajevo. Our first stop is Mostar, famous for its historical and cultural wealth. Here, we will see the Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, which is one of the masterpieces of Ottoman architecture. This bridge was destroyed in 1992, but was rebuilt in 2004 thanks to the contributions of the Republic of Turkey. After exploring the enchanting atmosphere of Mostar, we will visit the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Then we will move on to Blagaj. Blagaj is located at the source of the Buna River, which is the strongest water source in Europe. After a short free time here, we will proceed to Počitelj. We will visit Počitelj, known as the Turkish Village, which has preserved its historical texture and see the works built by the Ottomans in the 16th century.
