Meeting at Çukurova Airport's departure terminal in front of the Ajet Airlines check-in counter 3 hours before the flight. We depart from Çukurova to TZL Airport directly with Ajet Airlines' scheduled flight. After approximately two hours of comfortable travel, we arrive. After completing the entry procedures to the country, we begin our enjoyable journey to Serbia's capital, Belgrade, with our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Historically one of the most important cultural and strategic centers of the Balkans, Belgrade today draws attention with its liveliness, movement, and historic texture. We will have the opportunity to explore this fascinating city, where Ottoman and European cultures intersect. After arriving in Belgrade, a panoramic city tour begins, where we will discover the city's grandeur. You can feel the historic atmosphere here and explore the texture that brings together Belgrade's past and present. Next, we head to one of the most impressive points of the city, where the Sava River meets the Danube River. It will be a great pleasure to explore this area, which has been the focal point of many conquests and victories throughout history, with its unique view. While continuing to discover this ancient city, where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded for its conquest, but which was ultimately conquered by Kanuni Sultan Süleyman, you will encounter the Belgrade Fortress, which served as the supply center for the Ottoman navy. During our tour, we will see the Tomb of Martyr Ali Pasha, an important figure from the Ottoman period. During these visits, you will deeply explore Belgrade's rich history and gain knowledge about the cultural heritage remaining from the Ottoman era. Day 2: Belgrade – Sarajevo
After our breakfast, we head to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, we will explore this city, which has been the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and is historically recognized as the site where World War I broke out due to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary in 1914 by Serbs. The city suffered great devastation during the war in 1992, which saw conflicts among Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, however, Sarajevo has largely managed to preserve its beauty. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the renowned Baščaršija, the historical Ottoman inn Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the city’s religious diversity, the Synagogue, Husein Bey Mosque and Ferhadija Mosque, the Latin Bridge where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place in 1914, the Old Library, and buildings built in Western style during the 40-year Austro-Hungarian rule. After breakfast, we depart from Sarajevo. Our first stop is Mostar, famous for its historical and cultural richness. Here, we will see the Mostar Bridge, built in 1557 by Architect Hayreddin, which is one of the masterpieces of Ottoman architecture. This bridge was destroyed in 1992 but was rebuilt in 2004 with the contributions of the Republic of Turkey. After exploring the captivating atmosphere of Mostar, we will visit the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. Then we head to Blagaj. Blagaj is built at the source of the Buna River, Europe's strongest water source. After a short free time here, we will move to Počitelj. We will explore Počitelj, known as the Turkish Village, which is preserved for its historical texture and see the structures built in the 16th century by the Ottomans. Upon our arrival in Tirana, we will visit Ethem Bey Mosque, one of Albania’s cultural heritage sites, which began construction in 1789 and was completed in 1923. We will take a short break at Skanderbeg Square, where we can see the iconic Skanderbeg Statue standing proudly in the center of the square. The Clock Tower of Tirana, built by Ethem Bey in 1821, is also one of the highlights of our tour. During this tour, the modern face of Tirana blends with its historical past, allowing you to create unforgettable memories. After some free time, we continue our journey to St. Naum, known as “A Corner of Heaven in the Balkans,” which boasts the source of Lake Ohrid and St. Naum Monastery, passing through Elbasan. Our first stop is Resen, where we will see Resneli Niyazi Bey’s Palace, an important figure in Balkan history, panoramically. Resen offers a fascinating atmosphere with its nature and Ottoman traces. After a short break, we head to Bitola, which was once one of the most significant cultural and trade centers of the Ottomans. Upon arriving in Bitola, we will visit the Military Academy where the esteemed founder of the Republic of Turkey, Atatürk, studied, and the Atatürk Museum from the outside. In this enchanted city, we will also discover Ottoman-era historical sites such as the Turkish Bazaar, Bedesten, Ishak Pasha Mosque, and the New Mosque. While feeling the historical texture of Bitola, you will have the chance to have a pleasant walk through the nostalgic streets of the city. After our visit, we set off for Skopje. After arriving, our city tour begins. Skopje is an important cultural center of the Balkans with its Ottoman heritage and modern structures. Our tour starts with historical places in Skopje, where the famous Turkish poet Yahya Kemal Beyatlı was born. Our first stop is the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the city, built in 1492. Next, we will visit the Murat Pasha Mosque, built in the 15th century, notable for its Ottoman-era decorations and architecture. During our tour, we will also see Kapan Han and Sulu Han, which are beautiful examples of Ottoman-period inns that were once important centers for traders. Next, we will visit the Stone Bridge, one of Skopje’s trademarks, built in the 15th century, connecting both banks of the Vardar River. From the Stone Bridge, we will continue our tour, seeing the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods along the banks of the river. While walking along the river, we pass through Macedonia Square, the largest and most central point of Skopje, surrounded by modern buildings. We will encounter large statues of Alexander the Great and other monuments here. GENERAL TERMS
1- The General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- In case of insufficient participation for the trip; the Agency can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour start date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour fee will be refunded to the guest. In the case of refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic flight connections purchased from the Agency will also be refunded to the guest, visa services, travel health insurance services that have been used to apply for a visa on behalf of the guest cannot be refunded as they have been used. If no visa application has been made, the visa and travel health insurance will also be canceled and a refund will be made. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independent of the Agency, they cannot claim any refund from the Agency in case the tour is canceled by the Agency. The guest accepts in advance that they will not hold the Agency responsible for any financial or moral losses arising from the cancellation of the tour when purchasing the tour.
3- In case of insufficient participation for the trip, the Agency reserves the right to show goodwill by not canceling the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the guiding service included in the package will only cover the airport transfers for the round trip abroad.
Cancellation and Change
4- In our tours, tickets for transportation are arranged at the time of reservation. In case of cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date, the flight ticket fees, which do not have the right of cancellation & change and refund, will be reflected as a penalty amount.
5- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying the Agency in writing at least 30 days before the tour departure date, except for the airline tickets that have been paid for and/or committed by the Agency. In case of less than 31 days remaining until the start date of the trip, they may cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the flight ticket price, and if there are 15 days or less until the start date of the trip, they can cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In case of cancellation requests, since the cancellation refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation request, it is necessary to inquire about refunds in advance. The Agency cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation refunds of additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
6- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide according to the opening/closing status of the museums and historical sites at the places to be visited and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
7- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are made via a panoramic vehicle explanation without including entrance to museums and historical sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours are not the responsibility of the Agency if they cannot be carried out due to local authorities not allowing visits or closed roads due to any event, or if it becomes impossible to conduct the tour due to weather conditions, including those indicated in the program and other tours. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot where vehicles are not allowed.
8- Our guide can change the days of city tours and/or additional tours depending on the number of participants, the closure status of the museums and historical sites. This also applies in case of changes in flight times.
9- Important points to consider for tours that will be conducted with Speed Boats; heavy meals should not be consumed just before boarding the boat, and excessive amounts of water should not be drunk. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints, as well as pregnant guests need to inform their guides about their conditions.
10- There are no refunds for participation in included tour or meal services if not utilized.
About Flights
11- The Agency is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of possible disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will be applied.
12- There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and charter flights. The Agency is obliged to inform these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the tour accepting the risk of flight times changing/cancellation.
13- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.
14- According to the airline rules; if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
15- Check-in and boarding procedures for participants in flights are personal processes, and these procedures must be carried out by the guest at the airports before the flight, at the relevant airline counters, or online through the airline’s websites.
16- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced verbally at the airports and displayed on the information boards in the area. This information should be followed by the guests themselves.
17- The Agency is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the specified airport at the required time per airline rules, do not carry out check-in and boarding procedures on time, or carry out check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and necessary transfers in the destination due to missing the flight are the responsibility of the passengers.
18- The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this allowance may drop to 15 kg. The excess baggage weight/pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of the Agency.
19- Guests wishing to upgrade their tickets using miles (to business or first class); after the tickets are issued, upgrade processes can be carried out depending on the availability of the airline (please check with the airline you are a member of). No mileage guarantee is provided for each flight. Please check whether the tickets for the program are from an upgradeable class.
20- In some airlines, meals and online check-in services may be subject to an additional fee.
Other Matters
21- The Agency will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellation processes made by the guest directly by communicating with the hotel. In such cases, the Agency's cancellation conditions will apply.
22- In cases where only category information is provided for hotels in the tour program without indicating hotel names or presented with options for the same destination, the Agency will inform the guest 48 hours before the trip.
23- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be utilized from locations or more km away than specified. In this case, the Agency will inform the guest 15 days before the tour departure date.
24- When registering for the purchased tour; the guest's passport name, date of birth, and passport number must be entered/declared correctly in the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties arising from incorrect information leading to flight ticket cancellations or changes will be charged to the guests.
25- To be able to use your mobile phones abroad, check with the company to which your line belongs to ensure that your phone is activated for international use before leaving Turkey.
26- The check-in time for accommodation is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.
27- Requests regarding the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, type of bed) are communicated to the hotel by the Agency. The rooms reserved are aimed to meet the guest's preferences, depending on the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by the Agency.
28- The breakfast offered in hotels differs from the rich breakfast traditionally found in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served with a limited selection, such as butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, commonly called continental breakfast, and may be served separately in a designated area for groups.
29- In some situations, a double bed may be available instead of a twin room. Most European hotels offer rooms with 2 beds that can be combined if necessary.
30- Child and extra bed policies may vary from hotel to hotel depending on room types.
31- Any extra bed and baby cot is provided upon request and according to the hotel's availability, and it must be approved by the hotel.
32- The capacity for extra beds or baby cots in the room is 1 unit (maximum).
33- In triple rooms, there is an application for an extra bed, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are made up of pull-out beds and coach beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept the possible congestion and the type of bed due to extra beds added to the standard room in triple room and/or reservations with children.
34- In hotel reservations, if the number of children staying with adults and the ages of the children are inaccurately declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. Hotels may request identification to verify the age of the children.
35- In reservations of 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child is staying with two adults. Child discounts are applicable for "one child" who fits the age group of staying with 2 adults.
36- Daily currency exchange rates will be reflected in TL prices. The rates at the time of payment are applicable. Any additional requests and some extra services (minibar, ironing, etc.) at the hotel may be subject to extra charges. These expenses are not included in the purchase price and shall be paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
37- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. All kinds of city, tourism, or other taxes that are currently applied will be collected from the guest by the hotel at the time of entry or exit.
38- The distances indicated in the programs are based on maps. Travel durations may be prolonged due to traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the visited country, roadworks, and conditions.
39- The Agency may change the order of cities in the program or the main airline to be flown, as deemed necessary without breaking the content of the program.
40- Personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/IDs of the participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and the Agency is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. If the forgotten items are found, the costs of delivering them to the country and/or person will be borne by the item owner.
41- Participants in the tour are obliged to carry their travel health insurance policies and any related medications and prescriptions if they have any health issues.
42- For possible extra expenses, a deposit in the form of a credit card or cash may be requested by the hotel at check-in, along with an official identity document/passport. The return of the requested deposit at check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and the Agency has no intervention in this matter.
Visa and Passport
1- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the travel end date.
2- At customs crossings/border gates, your passport must have at least 2 blank pages to stamp the entry-exit seal.
3- Being exempt from a visa for the countries in this tour or having obtained a visa does not mean you will be allowed to enter/leave the country; the passport police have the authority to refuse your entry/exit, and the Agency is not responsible for this situation; the responsibility lies with the traveler.
4- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or have dual citizenship using another country's passport to participate in the tour must consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applicable to the country they will travel to; otherwise, the Agency will not be responsible for the resulting consequences.
5- For passports that are torn, worn, wet, or damaged, it is necessary to renew the passports to avoid problems with customs police at the visited country's border. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
6- Guests under 18 years of age may be asked by the police officer to present a document showing the consent of both parents when traveling alone or with only one parent during entry-exit from the country; therefore, it is recommended for minor guests and their parents to be cautious regarding this matter.
