Day 1: Istanbul – Düsseldorf – Amsterdam
Meet at the Turkish Airlines counter in the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Düsseldorf at 08:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1523. Upon arrival at 09:20 local time, our city tour of Düsseldorf, one of Germany's most important cities for culture, art and industry, will include the rotating restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath where some of Germany's most important thinkers were educated, the shopping boulevard Königsallee, and the lush green Horfgarten. After our tour, we set off for Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, which borders Germany to the east and Belgium to the south, our city tour will include Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Flower Market. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Amsterdam or its surroundings.
Day 2: Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish can join the additional Grand Fairy Tale Villages and Water Canals tour (Zaanse Schans & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) for an extra fee (110 Euro). Our tour begins in Zaanse Schans. Zaanse Schans, one of Holland's hidden gem towns with a history dating back to the 17th century and still home to working historic windmills, is a famous Dutch town with untouched nature. With its historic windmills and wooden houses, you will feel as if you are walking through an open-air museum in Zaanse Schans, a town in Holland where you won't find anything similar in the world. The second stop on our tour is Marken. After exploring this wonderful island, which was once an island but later connected to the mainland by filling in the water between it and the land, we head to Volendam. Volendam is a place that immediately captivates visitors with its harbor, characteristic Dutch houses, and people wearing traditional costumes. After spending a pleasant time in this town where you can taste delicious seafood and cheeses and buy affordable souvenirs, our final stop is Giethoorn, the Hobbit Village. Recognized as one of the most beautiful places in the world, Giethoorn is one of Europe's most fairy-tale-like destinations. Giethoorn gained popularity after being featured in the 1958 film "Fanfare," and since then, its fame has grown continuously, welcoming over 800,000 tourists annually. Day 3: Amsterdam – Bruges – Ghent – Brussels
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we head to Brussels. On the way, guests who wish can additionally join the Grand Cities Brugge & Gent tour (90 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is the magnificent city of Brugge, famous for its stunning beauty. Today, Brugge is among the most visited cities in Europe and was placed under UNESCO protection in 1991. With its medieval architecture, waterways, narrow streets, bridges, historical buildings, and squares, it has become a jewel of Europe. After visiting this beautiful city, we proceed to Ghent, another city where time seems to stand still. Founded at the confluence of the Scheldt and Lys rivers, Ghent boasts a history spanning 1,400 years and was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages. Famous for its medieval monuments and university, after our tour here we head back to Brussels. As one of the most notable stops on Benelux tours, Brussels stands out for its versatility. Thanks to its cosmopolitan character, the city offers many opportunities for travelers, and we will visit some of its most valuable landmarks. Upon arrival, places we will see include the Royal Palace, Chinese and Japanese Houses, Brussels Cathedral, the Grand Place, the Stock Exchange Building, the Atomium Monument, and the Manneken Pis statue. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight stay at our hotels in Brussels or its surroundings.
Day 4: Brussels – Paris
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we head to Paris, one of the world's most romantic cities. Upon our arrival in Paris, the places we will visit include Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Louvre Museum and Pyramid, Place de l'Étoile, Grand Palais and Petit Palais Exhibition Halls, Place de la Concorde and the Obelisk, the French Parliament Building, Pont Alexandre III, the Seine River, Napoleon's Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight at our hotels in Paris or its surroundings.
Day 5: Paris
After the breakfast served at the hotel, guests who wish may optionally join the separately organized Grand Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat Tour (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Boat Tour & Montmartre Artists' Hill & Sacré-Cœur Basilica & Notre Dame Cathedral) for an additional fee (110 Euro). Our tour's first stop is the Eiffel Tower, the city's iconic landmark visited by millions of tourists every year. You will have the chance to ascend to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a panoramic view of Paris from above. Next, we embark on a boat tour along the Seine River, which divides Paris into two parts. After viewing the historic monuments on both banks of the river during the boat ride, we take the cable car up to Montmartre Hill, the highest point in Paris. On this hill, where important artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent van Gogh, and Jean Marais left their mark, the Sacré-Cœur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) will be the first site we visit. After viewing this structure up close, we take a break at Place du Tertre, where you can shop and have your portrait painted. Following this pause, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris's skyline. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1137 and 1180 under the orders of King Louis VII to showcase Paris's political, economic, and cultural power to the world. After admiring this magnificent structure, we take a short photo break. Then, we transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may optionally join the separately organized Grand Paris Under the Lights tour for an additional fee (35 Euro). The city of Paris is beautiful both by day and by night. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to see the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre Museum, and many other boulevards, buildings, and squares illuminated at night. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotels in Paris or its surroundings.
Day 6: Paris – Luxembourg
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set off towards Luxembourg. Upon arrival, our city tour of Luxembourg begins. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, the Town Hall, and Constitution Square are among the places to be visited. After our tour, guests who wish may join an additional tour titled "Magnificent History and Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen)" for an extra fee (65 Euro). Our first stop on this tour will be Trier, a city founded by the Romans in 15 BC, which holds the title of Germany's oldest city. Located along the Moselle River, one of the tributaries of the Rhine, within the Moselle Wine Region surrounded by low red sandstone hills covered with vineyards, our city tour in Trier includes Porta Nigra, the largest Roman city gate standing north of the Alps; Roman ruins located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site; St. Peter's Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady; the Constantine Basilica; and the birthplace of Karl Marx, the revolutionary thinker considered the father of scientific socialism. After our visit to Trier, we head to Remich, a town known as the most affordable shopping point during our tour. Due to Luxembourg's low-tax policies and its border location, you can purchase products such as chocolate, coffee, and alcoholic beverages very cheaply here. Finally, we visit Schengen, the point where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, and where the agreement on free movement abolishing passport controls between European Union member states was signed. In this village, one of Europe's important wine regions, you will have the opportunity to taste local wines and see the monument and building where the Schengen Agreement was signed. Day 7: Luxembourg – Strasbourg
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Strasbourg, one of France's most beautiful cities and the pearl of the Alsace region. While exploring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobblestone medieval quarter. With its fairy-tale-like nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Additionally, Strasbourg holds historical significance as the birthplace of the French national anthem "La Marseillaise," presenting itself as a city where French architecture blends with Alsatian culture. During our city tour, highlights include Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsatian houses. After our tour, guests who wish may join the "Magnificent Fairy Tale Villages of Alsace" (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour for an additional fee of 110 Euro. We will want to take photos at every opportunity throughout this tour; our first stop is Eguisheim. In 2013, Eguisheim was awarded the title of "Favorite French Village." It is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses, reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region, create Eguisheim's postcard-perfect appearance. After our tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval buildings, Gothic-style churches, and vibrant houses. While strolling through Colmar's remarkably well-preserved streets, you will see St. Martin Cathedral built entirely from pink stone, Petite Venise (Little Venice) with its small canals reminiscent of Italy's Venice, Maison Pfister—one of Colmar's oldest houses—and Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, known as a medieval town in France. Famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historic character, it features the Château de Kaysersberg, a castle dating back to the 13th century, which is one of the town's most prominent symbols. Located in the town center, Sainte-Croix Church stands out with its Gothic architecture. After our tour, we proceed to our final destination: Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting cities in Alsace, renowned for its many half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historic village captivates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and a medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. During our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the village's ancient walls to experience the medieval ambiance. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area. Overnight stay at hotels in Strasbourg or its vicinity.
Day 8: Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel
After the breakfast served at the hotel, we will check out of our rooms and depart for Freiburg. Freiburg, Germany's fourth-largest city, is a medieval town steeped in history, located near the Black Forest and captivating visitors with its natural beauty. During our city tour here, you will see landmarks such as Münster Cathedral, the symbol of the city and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture; Markthalle (Covered Market); Münsterplatz (Grand Square); Rathausplatz; Kaiser Joseph Street; Augustiner Platz; Adelhauser Platz; and Gerberau. After the tour, we will proceed to Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Basel, Switzerland's third-most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines modern and historical elements; although small in area, it holds many treasures within. During our city tour in this city, you will visit Basel Cathedral, where the tomb of the famous Renaissance writer Dutch Erasmus is located; Marktplatz, the city's main square; the Government Building; and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After the tour, we will head to Basel Airport. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926 at 18:05. Arrival at 23:15 local time marks the end of our tour.
