1st Day: Izmir - Cologne - Amsterdam
At the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, meeting in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter in the International Departures terminal 3 hours before the flight. After the baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Cologne at 02:55 with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 902. Arriving at 05:20 local time, we will head to Amsterdam with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Our city tour of Amsterdam begins upon arrival. In Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands, which is bordered by Germany in the east and Belgium in the south, we will visit places such as Dam Square, Central Station, National Monument, Royal Palace, Flower Market, and the Red Light District. After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Canals of Amsterdam tour for an additional fee of 30 Euros. What do you think about exploring Amsterdam and its magnificent architecture while cruising on the canals? You will have the opportunity to see Amsterdam from a different perspective while sailing on its canals, which exceed 100 km and have 165 canals. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. 2nd Day: Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Marken - Volendam - Giethoorn - Amsterdam
After having breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Fairy Tale Villages and Water Canals (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village) tour for an additional fee of 100 Euros. Our tour begins in the village of Zaanse Schans. Zaanse Schans, one of the hidden gems of the Netherlands, dates back to the 17th century and still has working historical windmills and untouched nature, making it famous. You will feel like you are wandering through an open-air museum with the historic windmills and wooden houses that have unique beauty. Our second stop is Marken, a magnificent island that was once an island but is now connected to the mainland. After touring this beautiful island, we will head to Volendam. Known for its harbor, traditional Dutch houses, and people in traditional costumes, Volendam is a place that instantly captivates its visitors. You can sample delicious seafood and cheeses and find affordable souvenirs while spending a lovely time in this village. Our final stop will be Giethoorn Hobbit Village. Considered one of the most beautiful spots in the world, Giethoorn is one of Europe's most fairy-tale-like places. Gaining popularity from the 1958 film "Fanfare" shot here, Giethoorn has increasingly attracted more tourists, hosting more than 800,000 visitors annually. 3rd Day: Amsterdam - Bruges - Ghent - Brussels
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Brussels. On the way, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Cities Bruges & Ghent tour for an additional fee of 75 Euros. Our first stop will be the beautiful Bruges, famous for its stunning beauty. Today, Bruges is one of the most visited cities in Europe and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. With its medieval architecture, waterways, narrow streets, bridges, historical buildings, and squares, it has managed to become the apple of Europe’s eye. After exploring this beautiful city, we will head to Ghent, another city where time stands still. With a history of 1400 years and located at the confluence of the Schelde and Lys rivers, Ghent was one of the largest and wealthiest cities of the Middle Ages. After our tour of this historical and university city, we continue to Brussels. Brussels, one of the most notable stops on the Benelux tours, stands out with its versatility. In this cosmopolitan city, we will visit various significant structures, including the Royal Palace, Chinese and Japanese houses, Brussels Cathedral, Town Hall, Bourse Building, Atomium Monument, and Manneken Pis Statue. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight stay at the hotel.
4th Day: Brussels - Paris
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the world. Upon our arrival in Paris, we will see places including Charles de Gaulle and the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Louvre Museum and Pyramid, Place de l’Étoile, Grand Palais and Petit Palais Exhibition Palaces, Place de la Concorde and Obelisk, French Parliament Building, Alexander III Bridge, Seine River, Napoleon’s Tomb, and the Eiffel Tower. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. In the evening, guests who wish can participate in the optional Splendid Paris by Night tour for an additional fee of 30 Euros. Paris is beautiful both in the day and at night. During this tour, you will have the chance to see Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, Louvre Museum, and many other boulevards, buildings, and squares illuminated by lights. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
5th Day: Paris
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Splendid Paris Masterpieces & Seine River Boat Tour (Eiffel Tower & Seine River Cruise & Montmartre Artists' Hill & Sacré-Cœur Basilica & Notre-Dame Cathedral) for an additional fee of 100 Euros. Our first stop will be the symbol of the city, the Eiffel Tower, which millions of tourists visit every year. You will have the chance to see Paris from above by ascending to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Then we will embark on a boat tour on the Seine River, which divides Paris. During the boat tour, you will see historical buildings on both banks. Next, we will take a funicular up to Montmartre Hill, the highest point in Paris. On this hill, where important artists like Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Dalida, Vincent Van Gogh, and Jean Marais left their mark, Sacré-Cœur Basilica will be our first point of visit. After closely visiting this structure, we will take a break in Tertre Square, where you can do some shopping or have your portrait done. Lastly, we will visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, considered a symbol of French history and an indispensable part of Paris's skyline. This magnificent structure was built under the order of King Louis VII between 1137 and 1180 to show the political, economic, and cultural power of Paris to the world. After seeing it, we will take a brief photo break. After that, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
6th Day: Paris - Reims - Metz
After breakfast at the hotel, we are heading towards the beautiful French city of Reims. Reims is the ancient capital of the Gallic people, and its name comes from the old Remes. Reims, the largest city in the Champagne region, has witnessed the coronation ceremonies of many French kings with its historic and unique Gothic architecture dating back to the Roman Empire. Among the sites we will see during this extraordinary tour are the Reims Cathedral, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991, the Palace of Tau, Saint Remi Basilica, and the Porte de Mars. After the tour, we will proceed to Metz. Metz is a charming city located in the Lorraine region of France, between Nancy and Luxembourg. In the 2019 “Best European Destinations” competition, Metz ranked 4th. With its historical, cultural, and architectural features, Metz is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
7th Day: Metz - Luxembourg
After breakfast at the hotel, we are headed towards Luxembourg. Upon arrival, we will start our city tour of Luxembourg. We will visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Ducal Palace, Town Hall, and Constitution Square. After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand History and Mosaics (Trier & Remich & Schengen) tour for an additional fee of 55 Euros. Our first stop will be Trier, the oldest city in Germany, founded by the Romans in 15 BC. Located in the Moselle wine region along the Moselle River, among the low red sandstone hills covered with vines, we will see the Porta Nigra, the largest Roman city gate standing in Northern Alps, Roman Ruins within UNESCO World Heritage site, St. Peter Cathedral, and the Church of the Virgin Mary, and Karl Marx's birthplace. After our visit to Trier, we will head to Remich, a tax haven where you can do the cheapest shopping during our tour. Due to Luxembourg's low tax policies and its border location, you can buy products like chocolates, coffee, and alcoholic beverages at very affordable prices. Lastly, we will visit Schengen, where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet, and where the agreement eliminating passport controls between EU member countries was signed. In this village, known for its important wine regions, you will have the chance to taste local wines and see the monument and the building where the Schengen Agreement was signed. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
8th Day: Luxembourg - Düsseldorf - Izmir
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Düsseldorf. In Düsseldorf, one of the important cities of culture, art, and industry in Germany, we will visit places such as the revolving restaurant Rheinturm, Schloss Benrath, renowned for its historically significant thinkers, and the shopping street Königsallee, along with lush areas of Hofgarten. After the tour, we will head to Düsseldorf Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 989 at 16:20. Arrival at 20:35 local time marks the end of our tour.
