DIYARBAKIR – STUTTGART – STRASBOURG – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL
After arriving at Diyarbakır Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Stuttgart on SunExpress Airlines’ scheduled flight XQ1590 at 03:45. Upon our arrival at Stuttgart Airport at 06:55 local time, we depart to carry out our panoramic Strasbourg city tour. Located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg will welcome us like a scene from a fairy tale, with the beauty of a painting. During our panoramic city tour on foot in Strasbourg’s vehicle-free center and streets, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important landmark located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still serving as a hotel and restaurant today. After the Strasbourg tour and some free time, we head to our hotel in the Alsace region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (€80). On this tour, we first go to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous district with colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will have the chance to find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as many souvenirs. The next stop on our tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-decked balconies, distinctive row of shops, cobblestone streets closed to cars, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafes; its tower, which houses the Dolder Museum that carries the story of the town to the present with documents, makes Riquewihr look like something out of a Grimm fairy tale. ALSACE – BERN – (Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical character, it is included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located within Switzerland and officially German-speaking, Bern also reflects the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, guests will have free time, and those who wish may join the optional Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (€80). Our first stop is Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views. Important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets of the region are along the route of our walking tour. The historic Victoria Jungfrau Hotel and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After some free time for photos and sightseeing, we proceed to the train station for the next stop of our tour, Lauterbrunnen. We take the train departing from Interlaken and arrive in Lauterbrunnen after about a 20-minute journey. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as soon as we exit the station. While walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the breathtaking Staubbach Waterfall descending toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements and walking paths along the valley, which is home to 72 waterfalls. On our walk along the designated route in the village, we will take many photos of the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the magnificent, heavenly landscapes. We return to Interlaken by train and complete our tour. After the tour, we depart for Geneva and upon arrival, we take our city tour. Geneva, known as “the French city of Switzerland,” is a magnificent city located on the shores of Lake Geneva, where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The fact that the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations are located in Geneva makes the city a cultural and administrative center. During our sightseeing tour in Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and fresh air come together, the main places to be seen include St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Nice. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (€50). Annecy, known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, impresses visitors with its canal system and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our visit, Annecy Castle, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photographers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (€70). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. On our walk through the narrow, winding, vehicle-free streets of the old town, there will be a chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit along La Croisette Boulevard, home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice. On our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse are among the places to be seen. After the Nice tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (€80). On this tour, our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages of the Côte d’Azur with its magnificent views, where we will visit a perfume factory where you can test and purchase beautiful and famous perfumes at reasonable prices. After this, our second stop is Monaco, the kingdom of fairy tales, the smallest country in the world after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Portofino by Boat Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Milan. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino by Boat Tour (€65). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and an inspiration for songs with all its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we proceed to Milan city center to carry out our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also notable for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, it is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the places to be seen. After the Milan city tour, we depart for our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Como Tour) – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Tirano for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (€50). On this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer houses of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and we take a photo break with the lake’s unique view. After a short free time in Como, we continue our journey to Tirano. During this fairy-tale train journey, built between 1898 and 1904 and today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will witness extraordinary scenery and have the chance to take photographs. After about a 2-hour enjoyable train ride, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after the free time and short orientation tour that may be offered depending on the train schedule on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, we set off for our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. After the panoramic journey through the Heidi’s Villages landscapes, with vast mountains and green meadows that bring to mind many scenes from our childhood and our beloved little heroine Heidi, who lived in the Alps with her grandfather and closest friend Peter, we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, where room assignment and free time to rest are provided.
ALSACE – FREIBURG – OUTLET – STUTTGART – DIYARBAKIR
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Freiburg. In this “city of happy people,” where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, our city tour will reveal traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which have all governed the city throughout history. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg will include the Freiburg Cathedral, the small water canals unique to Freiburg that give its streets a charming atmosphere, Martin’s Gate, the city’s medieval gate, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we head to the world-famous Metzingen Outletcity, home to outlet stores of many famous brands and attracting shopping enthusiasts from all over the world. Designed as an Outletcity and offering visitors a very comfortable and enjoyable time for shopping and strolling, our visit to Metzingen Outletcity is followed by our transfer to Stuttgart Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Diyarbakır on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ1591 at 21:55. Arrival at Diyarbakır Airport at 02:45 local time and end of the tour.
