Day 1: Istanbul – Basel – Colmar – Riquewihr – Freiburg – Zurich
Meet our valued guests at 07:00 in the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport in front of the AJet Airlines counter. After check-in and passport procedures, depart for Basel on AJet Airlines scheduled flight VF105 at 08:35. Arrival in Basel at 10:50 local time. After passport and baggage procedures, we begin our panoramic Basel city tour with our private coach waiting for us. During the panoramic tour of Basel, one of Switzerland’s cultural capitals, sights to be seen include Basel Cathedral (Basel Münster), the banks of the Rhine River, the historic city center, Hotel Les Trois Rois, and Marktplatz, the heart of the city. After the tour, a short free time will be given. After the free time, we head toward the Alsace region of France. Our first stop will be Colmar, the pearl of the Alsace region and one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval towns. With its colorful half-timbered houses, flower-decorated balconies, stone streets, and romantic canals, Colmar resembles a fairy-tale land. During our panoramic tour here, Little Venice (Petite Venise), Colmar Old Town, historical squares, and the finest examples of Alsatian architecture will be seen. After our tour in Colmar, we head to Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting fairy-tale villages of the Alsace region. Believed to have inspired famous Disney tales, Riquewihr is one of the most impressive villages in the Alsace region with its colorful houses, flower-decorated narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere. After our Riquewihr tour, we head to Freiburg in Germany, known as the capital of the Black Forest. Upon arrival in Freiburg, we will take a short panoramic city tour. After the tour, we head to Zurich, one of the largest and most important cities in Switzerland. Upon arrival in Zurich, we will carry out our panoramic city tour. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most impressive and most visited cities. After an approximately 1-hour pleasant drive, we arrive in Lucerne and carry out our panoramic city tour. In Lucerne, which has preserved its medieval architecture to the present day, during our tour we will see the city’s symbol, the famous wooden Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), built in the 14th century, Lake Lucerne, the Lion Monument built in memory of the Swiss soldiers who lost their lives during the French Revolution, the historic city center, and impressive squares. Day 3: Milan – Bernina Express / Red Train – St. Moritz – Tirano – Milan and Surroundings
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for an unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. We arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short surrounding tour that may be offered depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, we reach the station for our unforgettable and mesmerizing train journey with the Bernina Express / Red Train.
