İstanbul Airport, after arriving at the International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control, we fly to Basel at 07:40 with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1923. After arriving at Basel Airport at 09:45 local time, we continue to Strasbourg by our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Strasbourg, located at the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us like a fairytale, with the beauty of a painting. During our panoramic city tour on foot in Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located right in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest building, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant today. After free time in Strasbourg, we depart for Freiburg, one of the best examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, the city of happy people, where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, it is possible to see traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which have ruled over the city throughout history. During our city tour in Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), we will see the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with Freiburg’s unique small water canals, Martin’s Tor, a medieval gate, and Rathausplatz. ALSACE – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – MILAN After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we begin our panoramic journey through the landscapes of Heidi’s Villages, filled with endless mountains and green meadows in the Alps, home to our beloved childhood character Heidi, who lived with her grandfather and close friend Peter. Then we head to Milan. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour (65 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Como. Upon arrival in Como, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to the summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European wealthy elites, and the world jet set, and we take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – MILAN After breakfast, we depart for St. Moritz for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Upon arrival in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and favorite destination of the jet set, we may have free time and a short local tour depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Bernina railway line, before reaching the station for the Bernina Express / Red Train journey. Built between 1898 and 1904, this world-famous line is now on the UNESCO World Heritage List and fills the dreams of many travel enthusiasts. During this fairytale journey, we will witness and photograph extraordinary landscapes. After approximately 2 hours of pleasant train travel, we arrive at Tirano Station and return to our Milan region hotel with our waiting vehicle. MILAN – OUTLET – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for our outlet center visit. After free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious stores, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas in Italy, which shapes the world fashion trend, we complete the tour and head to Nice. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with all its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino visit, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, accommodation in rooms and free time to rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through its narrow, winding, and traffic-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, which runs along the Cannes coast and hosts many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we enjoy free time before arriving in Nice. On our Nice tour, sights include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse. During our journey through magnificent natural scenery, with views of Mont Blanc, the peak of the Alps known as the roof of Europe, along the shared border of France, Switzerland, and Italy, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals and the Thiou River running through it, Annecy fascinates visitors with its canal-based structure and extraordinary location between mountains and lake. During our visit, the Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photographers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Annecy Lake, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Geneva. Known as “the French side of Switzerland” and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Geneva is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations headquarters gives Geneva a central position culturally and administratively. During our tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historic monuments and streets, and fresh air come together, main sights include St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we head to Bern. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional GoldenPass Express Train Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy-Tale Castles Tour (95 Euro). Starting in Montreux, our train journey offers postcard-worthy lake views and mountain silhouettes. After this breathtaking journey through nature, which ends near Gruyères, we continue to Bern.
