1st Day Istanbul (SAW) – Copenhagen
Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Departures terminal, in front of the Ajet Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Copenhagen at 09:20 on Ajet Airlines flight VF 69. Upon arrival at 11:50 local time, our city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Copenhagen, whose name in Danish means “commercial port,” is the capital of Denmark and its most populous city. The city is known for its unique architecture, colorful buildings, and lively harbor districts. In addition, according to research, the people of Denmark are considered to be the happiest people in the world. During the city tour in Copenhagen, the places to be seen include Nyhavn Canal, Christianborg Castle, Glyptotek, Amalienborg Palace, and the Stroget shopping street. 2nd Day Copenhagen
After breakfast at the hotel, we participate in the tour of Denmark’s Magnificent Castles (Kronborg & Frederiksborg). Our first stop is Kronborg Castle. Located in the city of Helsingør, Denmark, Kronborg Castle is one of the country’s most famous historical structures. Built in the 15th century, this impressive castle has preserved its medieval splendor to the present day and was one of the important residences of the Danish royal family in the past. It is best known for hosting William Shakespeare’s play “Hamlet”; therefore, the castle has great importance in both history and literature. Located in the city of Hillerød, Denmark, on a charming lake, Frederiksborg Palace is an impressive structure considered one of the finest examples of Northern Renaissance architecture. 3rd Day Copenhagen – Malmö – Gothenburg
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Malmö. Malmö stands out with its long bridge, parks, and historical buildings. On our city tour here, places to be seen include Stortorget Square, City Hall, Lilla Torg Square bustling with cafes and restaurants, and St. Petri Church. 4th Day Gothenburg – Oslo
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Oslo, the 4th largest city in Scandinavia and Norway’s largest city. Oslo is a city famous for its high standard of living and natural beauty. Founded in 1049 as a port city and formerly known as “Christiania,” the city has been called Oslo since 1925. Upon arrival, places to be seen on our city tour include the Royal Palace, City Hall, National Theatre, Oslo Cathedral, Karl Johans Street, the Opera House, Akershus Castle, and Frogner Park. 5th Day Oslo
After breakfast at the hotel, we participate in the Magnificent Flåm Fjord Tour. We leave the hotel early in the morning and head out for a full-day tour. Upon arrival, we board the ship and enjoy the breathtaking fjords of Norway from the deck, while admiring the waterfalls flowing down from snowy mountains. During our city tour in Stockholm, the places to be seen include the City Hall, Kungsträdgården Central Park, the National Theatre Building, the Stock Exchange Building, Gamla Stan, meaning the old town, the Royal Palace, and Fjällgatan Hill. 7th Day Stockholm
After breakfast at the hotel, we participate in the Magnificent Treasures of Sweden (Uppsala & Djurgården Island and Vasa Museum) tour. Our first stop is Uppsala. Uppsala, Sweden’s 4th largest city, is also one of the country’s oldest and most historic places. With its unique cultural beauty and exciting history, it adds charm upon charm. During the city tour here, places to be seen include Uppsala Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Scandinavia, Uppsala University, the oldest university in Scandinavia with a history dating back 550 years, and the Fyris River, which divides the city in two. After the tour here, our next stop will be Djurgården Island. A magical island located in the fairytale-like heart of Stockholm, Djurgården is as if it came straight out of a fairy tale. As you walk along the old stone paths of Skansen, the melodies of the past will accompany you. Once a private property of the royal family for a long time, Djurgården Island is also the world’s first national city park. After the tour here, we go to the Vasa Museum. The Vasa Museum is a magnificent structure that carries the traces of the 17th-century Vasa warship. Although the Vasa was designed as a majestic and powerful warship when it set sail in 1628, it tragically sank on its maiden voyage.
