(Since there is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, participants are advised to notify us specifically during the reservation for this tour). Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this famous monument was begun in the 13th century as a fortress and palace on the plateau atop Sabika Hill overlooking Granada, and its construction continued until the 15th century. This is the most important structure in Spain; although it looks somewhat plain from the outside, the most skilled masters of the period worked inside and crafted its walls like lace. Because of the red color it takes from the red soil used in the palace, it is called Alhambra, meaning “The Red.” At the end of the tour, return to our hotel.
→ Flamenco show tour | 55 EUR adults - 45 EUR children (04-11.99 years)
Peoples want to express themselves in some way, and they do so through music and dance. The Roma, who suffered for years, lived in poverty, were oppressed, and were regarded as a social problem and made to work in menial jobs, created flamenco through factors such as anger, compassion, the spirit of freedom, rebellion and the absence of social conformity. They expressed their pain and unhappiness through flamenco. The rigid postures and expressions in flamenco are all the result of these. Flamenco is more than a simple folk genre; it has a complex and intense cultural tradition. Although it is known to be unique to Spain, it is actually the culture of the Andalusia region. After a 1-hour performance at a typical venue we will reach by vehicle, we return to our hotel.
Day 6 | Seville – Cordoba – Madrid | 29 October 2026 Thursday [K]
