ISTANBUL – MILAN
After arriving at Istanbul Airport International Terminal 3 hours before the flight and completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Milan on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK1895 departing at 11:30. Upon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport at 13:20 local time, we head to the city center to conduct our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also notable for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. At the end of the Milan city tour, transfer to our hotel. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan region, room assignments and free time to rest.
MILAN – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Geneva. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy fascinates visitors with its network of canals and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our visit to Annecy, Chateau d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography lovers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Annecy Lake, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Geneva. Upon arrival in Geneva, we conduct our city tour. Known as the “French side of Switzerland” and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Geneva is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes Geneva an important cultural and administrative center. During our tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, St. Pierre Cathedral, Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become the symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument are among the main sights. GENEVA – (Gruyères Tour) – BERN – (By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Bern. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Gruyères Tour (40 Euro). Selected as Switzerland’s most beautiful village in 2014 and the birthplace of the world-famous Gruyère cheese, Gruyères is a fairytale village that has preserved its medieval character without deterioration to the present day, giving its name to the region and the region’s famous cheese. Located in the upper valley of the Saane River, on a hill 800 m above sea level, this car-free village is also known for Switzerland’s famous dish fondue as well as its cheese. After our sightseeing tour in Gruyères, we continue our journey to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Bern, located within Switzerland and with German as its official language, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, free time will be given, and guests who wish may join the optional By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). The first stop of our tour will be Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we will tour Interlaken, famous for its natural beauty and the mesmerizing views of these landscapes. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are along the tour route we will walk. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we move to the train station to reach our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After a train ride of about 20 minutes from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as we exit the station. While walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting form of Staubbach Falls hanging down toward the valley floor and have the chance to take photos. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley hosting 72 waterfalls and its walking paths. During our walk along the designated route in the village, we will take many photos of the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful natural scenery that feels like paradise. We complete the tour by returning to Interlaken. After the tour, we depart for our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). First, we visit the fairytale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as numerous souvenir opportunities. Our next stop in the Alsace region is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive row of shops, car-free cobblestone streets, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; with its tower that houses documents preserving the town’s story, along with the Dolder Museum, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue to Strasbourg. Strasbourg, located at the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us like a picture straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, where Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the heart of the city, and the Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house and still operating as a hotel and restaurant, are among the places we will see. After the Strasbourg tour and free time, we head to Freiburg, one of the best examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is mainly by tram and bicycle, we will see the traces of German, French, Austrian, Spanish, and Swedish historical and architectural cultures that the city has been under throughout history. Also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg will include the Freiburg Cathedral, the small water channels unique to Freiburg that add charm to the streets, Martin’s Gate, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region.
ALSACE – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – (Como & Lugano Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for an unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Following a panoramic journey through the landscapes of Heidi’s Villages, filled with endless mountains and green meadows, which include many scenes remembered from the childhood cartoon about our beloved heroine Heidi, who lives in the Alps with her grandfather and best friend Peter, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set. After free time and a short sightseeing visit, depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina railway line, we head to the station for our unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina Express / Red Train. On this world-famous line, built between 1898 and 1904 and now on the UNESCO World Heritage List, many travel lovers dream of riding this fairy-tale route. During the approximately 2-hour journey, we will witness extraordinary views and have the chance to photograph them. After arriving at Tirano Station, we move to our hotel in the Milan region by the vehicle waiting for us. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como & Lugano Tour (80 Euro). First, we head to Lugano. In this tour, we will take a peaceful walk along Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, and admire its unique nature, wonderful views, and city park while photographing the beautiful scenery. After free time in Lugano, we continue to the second part of the tour in Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for hosting the summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, known for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. MILAN – OUTLET – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Nice. On the way, we will visit an outlet center. After some free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious brands, cafés and restaurants, and leisure areas, we continue our journey to Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room assignments and free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). In this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour, we will first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through the narrow, winding, pedestrian streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, lined with many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we reach Nice. In our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse are among the places to be seen. After the Nice tour, during the free time given, guests who wish may join the optional Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (65 Euro). In this tour, we travel to Monaco, the world’s smallest state after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera, and after arrival, we conduct our panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. NICE – (Eze & San Remo Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we offer free time until our return flight to Istanbul. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & San Remo Tour (50 Euro). In this tour, our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the stunning Côte d’Azur, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test and purchase beautiful and famous perfumes at affordable prices. After our tour, our second stop will be San Remo. Located in northwestern Italy near the French border, San Remo became known in our country at the end of the 1900s through the Eurovision Song Contest and is also known as the tourism center of the Italian Riviera. With its lush tropical parks and gardens, grand palace-like casinos, and streets lined with stylish and expensive shops, San Remo fascinates visitors. During our sightseeing tour in San Remo, San Siro Cathedral, Ariston Theatre, where the San Remo Music Festival is also held, and Madonna Della Costa Church, built in the Baroque style in the 17th century, are among the main places to be seen. After the San Remo tour, we head to Nice Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines direct scheduled flight TK1816 departing at 19:25.
