ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – (Como Tour) – MILAN
We meet at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures, then fly to Milan on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211 departing at 08:50. Upon arrival at Milan Bergamo Airport at 10:40 local time, we head to Milan city center to conduct our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour, we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral, and Porta Romano among the main highlights. At the end of the Milan city tour, we proceed to our hotel in the Milan area. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). In this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to holiday villas of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the global jet set, and we will take a photo break enjoying the lake’s unique views. After free time at the end of the tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan area. Check-in and free time to rest.
MILAN – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Tirano for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Built between 1898 and 1904, this world-famous line is now on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and during this fairy-tale journey, which many travel enthusiasts dream of, we will witness extraordinary scenery and have the chance to photograph it. After an enjoyable train ride of about 2 hours, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set. Following free time and a short orientation tour that can be arranged depending on the Bernina train departure time, we continue to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. During our panoramic journey through Heidi’s villages—familiar from the cartoon and filled with the landscapes of vast mountains and green meadows where our beloved childhood character Heidi lived with her grandfather and best friend Peter—we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, where check-in and free time for rest are provided.
ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, we first visit the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the most famous area of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods and buy souvenirs. Our next stop in the tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to car traffic, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; its tower, which houses the Dolder Museum preserving the town’s history, makes it look like a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Strasbourg. Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us like a painting, straight out of a fairy tale. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and serving as the seat of the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, where we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant today. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we set out for Freiburg, one of the finest examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is largely by tram and bicycle, we will explore a city known for its happy residents. During our city tour, we will see traces of the German, French, Austrian, Spanish, and Swedish historical and architectural cultures that influenced the city throughout history. Also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), Freiburg’s city tour includes the Freiburg Cathedral, the small water channels unique to Freiburg that add charm to its streets, Martin’s Gate, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region.
ALSACE / BASEL – BERN – (Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Because of this historical character, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Located in Switzerland and with German as its official language, Bern also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, guests will have free time, during which those who wish may join the optional Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop is Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and the mesmerizing views that accompany it. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are on our walking route. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we head to the train station for our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After a journey of about 20 minutes by train from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. From the moment we leave the station, we will feel the deep structure of the valley and its steep rock walls. As we walk toward the village center, we will see the breathtaking Staubbach Falls cascading toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it panoramically. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along a valley that hosts 72 waterfalls and its walking paths. During our walk along the designated route within the village, we will photograph the traditional chalet architecture of the region, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful natural landscapes that resemble paradise. We complete the tour by returning to Interlaken. After the tour, we head to Geneva and conduct our city tour upon arrival. Known as the “French-speaking city of Switzerland,” Geneva, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is an extraordinary city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives Geneva a central position culturally and administratively. During our visit to Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments, streets, and clean air come together, the main highlights will be St. Pierre Cathedral, Jet d’Eau—the city’s symbol, rising up to 140 meters—and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. Check-in and free time to rest.
GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Nice. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Nicknamed “The Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal-filled structure and extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our tour, the Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third-largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, check-in and free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we provide a full day of free time. During this time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). In this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through its narrow, winding, car-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and do some shopping. After our visit to the La Croisette Boulevard, which runs along Cannes’ coastline and is home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we enjoy free time before arriving in Nice. In our Nice tour, we will see Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After free time in Nice, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the Côte d’Azur for its magnificent views, where we visit a perfume factory and have the opportunity to test and purchase famous perfumes at attractive prices. Our second stop is the principality of Monaco, the world’s second-smallest state after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera. After arrival, we conduct a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – OUTLET – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we set off for Milan. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino has inspired songs with its beauty and enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. On the way, we will visit an outlet center. After free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious brands, cafés, restaurants, and personal activity areas in Italy, which shapes global fashion trends, we proceed to our hotel in the Milan area. Upon arrival, check-in and free time to rest.
MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1214 departing at 17:15. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20:55 local time and end of the tour.
