ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN
After arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Milan on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1213 at 14:20. Upon arrival at Milan Bergamo Airport at 16:10 local time, we head to the city center to begin our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our city tour, the main places to be seen include the famous opera house La Scala, Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral, and Porta Romano. At the end of the Milan city tour, we head to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignments are completed and free time is given to rest.
MILAN – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Tirano for an unforgettable and breathtaking train journey on the Bernina railway line. During this fairy-tale trip, which will take place on this world-famous line built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will have the chance to admire and photograph extraordinary landscapes. After approximately 2 hours of pleasant train travel, we arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short sightseeing tour that may be offered depending on the Bernina railway train departure time, we depart for our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Following a panoramic journey through the landscapes of Heidi’s Villages, which feature many scenes remembered from the animated series of our beloved childhood heroine Heidi, who lived in the Alps with her grandfather and her best friend Peter, and are filled with endless mountains and green meadows, we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region and provide room assignments and free time to rest.
ALSACE / BASEL – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first visit the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River in the city’s most famous area, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods according to your taste and buy various souvenirs. The next stop on our tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to traffic, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; its tower also houses the Dolder Museum, which preserves the city’s history through documents and feels straight out of a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue to Strasbourg. Located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg welcomes us like a painting straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg will be explored on foot in its pedestrianized center and streets during our panoramic city tour; among the places we will see are Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral located at the very heart of the city and its most important structure, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still operating today as a hotel and restaurant. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we depart for Freiburg, one of the finest examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed into the city since 2010 and transportation is largely provided by tram and bicycle, the city of happy people, it is possible to see traces of the historical and architectural influences of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden that shaped the city throughout history. On our city tour in Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), we will see the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with Freiburg-specific small water canals, Martin’s Tor, the medieval city gate, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region.
ALSACE / BASEL – BERN – (Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour by Train) – GENEVA
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the rare cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical character, it is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Bern, located in Switzerland and with German as its official language, also reflects the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour of Bern, free time will be provided, and guests who wish may join the optional Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour by Train (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Interlaken. Named from “inter-lakes” due to its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and the mesmerizing views that accompany it. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are along our walking tour route. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel and Höhematte Park, two of the city’s historical symbols, will be seen panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we head to the train station to move on to Lauterbrunnen, our next stop. After about a 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as soon as we leave the station. As we walk toward the village center, we will see the breathtaking Staubbach Falls cascading down toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it panoramically. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley, home to 72 waterfalls, and its walking trails. On our walk along the designated route in the village, we will photograph the traditional chalet architecture of the region, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its heavenly landscapes. We complete the tour by returning to Interlaken. After the tour, we depart for Geneva and upon arrival we conduct our city tour. Known as the “French side” of Switzerland and located on the shores of Lake Geneva, Geneva is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature meet. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes Geneva an important cultural and administrative center. During our visit to Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and fresh air come together, the main places to be seen are St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignments are completed and free time is given to rest.
GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals and the Thiou River passing through it, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal network and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our visit, Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After some short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room assignments are completed and free time is given to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. While walking through the narrow, winding, and traffic-free streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, which stretches along the Cannes coast and is home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we arrive in Nice after some free time. On our Nice tour, the places to be seen include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Palace of Justice. After the Nice tour, during the free time offered, guests may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the Côte d’Azur, offering magnificent views, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test beautiful and famous perfumes and purchase them at reasonable prices. After the tour, our second stop is the Principality of Monaco, located on the French Riviera and, after the Vatican, the smallest country in the world, and upon arrival we conduct our panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – OUTLET – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean Sea, offering a breathtaking view. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. On the way, we will visit an outlet center. After free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, which hosts prestigious stores, cafés and restaurants, and personal activity areas, and shapes Italy’s fashion trends, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignments are completed and free time is given to rest.
MILAN – (Como Tour) – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, famous for hosting the summer homes of Hollywood celebrities, Europe’s wealthy, and the world jet set, known for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and we will take a photo stop with the lake’s unique scenery. After the tour and the free time provided, we continue to the airport. After arriving at the airport and completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1214 at 17:15. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 20:55 local time, and end of the tour.
