Day 1 ISTANBUL – ROME
Meeting at Istanbul Airport at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Rome. Arrival in Rome at local time. We will meet our private vehicle and guide, then proceed to Rome. Upon arrival, a panoramic Rome city tour. During our tour, we will view by bus the Vatican (San Pietro), Castel Sant'Angelo (Castle of the Holy Angel), the remains of the Circo Massimo stadium from Ancient Rome, and the streets dating back to the Baroque Period. A short photo stop will be given at the Colosseum, and after the tour there will be free time in the afternoon. In the evening, for those who wish, we will depart for the extra Rome Night Tour (45€), where we will see famous squares and enjoy wandering through the streets of Rome that we have not seen before. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 ROME
After breakfast, free day. For those who wish, we depart with our guide for the extra Albano Lake & Nemi Roman Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet Tour (95€). We visit the natural beauty area where the Popes spend their summers and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries. The tour continues to Castel Romano Designer Outlet, where you can shop among many famous brands. Day 3 ROME – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, our panoramic city tour begins with photo stops at Florence’s historic streets and squares, ending at Piazza Della Repubblica. After a short break, for those who wish, we continue to discover Florence, the UNESCO World Heritage capital of the Renaissance, step by step with our guide. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to join the extra Medici’s Legacy Renaissance Works Tour (45€). On this tour, we will examine in detail the monuments of this historic city, accompanied by the history of Florence and the lives of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance. During the tour, we will see Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled in Florence; Piazza Della Signoria, home to the masterpieces of Hercules and David; the Uffizi Art Gallery; the historic Ponte Vecchio, the city’s oldest bridge, and the Medici Corridor; the house of Dante Alighieri, the famous literary master of the 13th-century epic Divine Comedy; the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, with the 3rd tallest dome in Italy; the Baptistery, famous for its “Gates of Paradise”; and Florence’s famous historic markets. Day 4 FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, free day. For those who wish, we depart with our guide for the Great Tuscany Tour (145€). The places to be visited on our tour are Pisa - San Gimignano - Volterra. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, considered one of the world’s most important historic monuments. During the panoramic visit, Pisa Tower, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracoli Square will be toured, and those who wish can take photos in this historic city. San Gimignano (the City of 13 Towers) is visited through Cisterne Square, the central area of the city built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, you can shop extensively at reasonable prices. Volterra, a medieval fortified town where history can be felt in every corner, has also been featured in Hollywood films and series (Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone, etc.). This unique Tuscan town, whose history dates back to the Etruscans and Romans, offers visitors many experiences. Sites to be seen include the Roman Theater, the remains of the forum area, Priori Square, the town’s main square, and the Volterra Cathedral built in the 12th century. Day 5 FLORENCE - BOLOGNA - ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Departure for Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul local time and end of the tour.
