1. Day ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
Meet at Istanbul Airport at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal. Depart for Bologna with Turkish Airlines. Upon arrival at Bologna Airport local time, we proceed by private coach for a panoramic city tour of Florence. Our panoramic tour starts by photographing the historic streets and squares of Florence and ends at Piazza della Repubblica. After a short break, for those who wish, we continue to explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Florence, the capital of the Renaissance, step by step with our guide. In the afternoon, there is an optional extra tour, Medici Heritage Renaissance Works (45€). During this tour, we will examine in detail the history of Florence and the monuments of this historic city, along with the life stories of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance period. On this tour, we will see Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici Family ruled in Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the statues of Hercules and David, one of the masterpieces of the Renaissance; the Uffizi Art Gallery; Ponte Vecchio, the city’s oldest bridge, and the Medici Corridor; the House of Dante Alighieri, the famous literary master of the 13th-century epic poem Divine Comedy; Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy; the Baptistery, famous for its “Gates of Paradise”; and Florence’s famous historic markets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
2. Day FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, free day. For those who wish, we depart with our guide for the Great Tuscany Tour (145€). The places to be seen on our tour are Pisa - San Gimignano - Volterra. Pisa is famous for its Leaning Tower, one of the world’s most well-known historical monuments. During the panoramic visit, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Piazza dei Miracoli will be visited, and guests may take photos in this historic city. San Gimignano (The City of 13 Towers) features a central area known as Cisterne Square, in the city built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, shopping at affordable prices is possible. Volterra, a medieval walled town that carries history in every corner, has also been featured in Hollywood films and TV series (Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone, etc.). This unique Tuscan town, whose history dates back to the Etruscans and Romans, offers visitors many opportunities. During our Volterra visit, we will walk through its narrow medieval streets and squares while enjoying magnificent views of the Tuscan Valley. Sites to be seen include the Roman Theater, the remains of the forum area, the town’s main square Piazza dei Priori, and the Volterra Cathedral built in the 12th century. During free time, you can taste cheese and the famous wines from the town’s small shops, or sip your coffee in the historic cafés in the square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
3. Day FLORENCE - MONTECATINI – ROME
After breakfast, we leave the hotel and travel to Rome by private vehicle with our guide. Upon arrival, a panoramic Rome city tour. During the tour, we will see the Vatican (San Pietro), Castel Sant’Angelo, the ruins of the Circus Maximus stadium from the ancient Roman period, and the streets from the Baroque era, all from the bus in a panoramic manner. After a short photo stop at the Colosseum, free time in the afternoon. In the evening, for those who wish, we depart for an optional Rome Night Tour (45€), during which we will see famous squares and walk through the streets of Rome that we did not see before, enjoying a pleasant time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
4. Day ROME
After breakfast, free day. For those who wish, our guide will organize an optional tour to the Albano Lake & Nemi Roman Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet (95€), a region with stunning nature. We visit Nemi village, famous for its wild strawberries, and the beautiful area where the popes spent their summers. The tour continues to Castel Romano Designer Outlet, where you can shop among many famous brands. After this tour, for those who wish, there is also an optional Rome Monuments and Masterpieces Tour (65€). In this tour, in Rome, the imperial city that has shaped European civilization and bears witness to 23 centuries of history, we will visit the ancient Pantheon temple, Piazza Navona with its Baroque architecture and famous fountain, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws a coin into it will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps famous for street performers, Castel Sant’Angelo and its bridge. On this tour, you will explore the city step by step with your guide and lose yourself in Rome’s ancient stories and historical texture. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at the hotel.
5. DAY ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul local time and end of the tour.
