Meeting 3 hours before departure at the SunExpress Airlines counter at Ankara Esenboğa Airport international departures terminal. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Stuttgart at 05:20 with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 792. Upon arrival in Frankfurt at 08:00 local time, transfer to Strasbourg with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. While touring Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval quarter. With its fairytale-like nature and historical structures, timber-framed houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Strasbourg also holds historical importance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written. It appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture blend together. During our city tour, the Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district decorated with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Afterwards, guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Alsace’s Fairytale Villages tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (100 Euro) On this tour, where you will want to take photos at every opportunity, our first stop will be Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like view. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historical buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While walking through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, the St. Martin Cathedral built entirely of pink stone, Little Venice, which resembles Venice in Italy with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with faces, will be among the places to see. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region as a medieval town of France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the town’s most notable landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of the town, draws attention with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, we proceed to Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns of Alsace, with many half-timbered houses that give the town its charm. This historic village enchants visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and its medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and feel the medieval atmosphere while walking along the village’s old walls. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. 2nd Day Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Germany Duo tour (Baden Baden & Heidelberg). (85 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Baden Baden, an oxygen-rich haven immersed in nature, a cultural and artistic center, a spa town, and even home to one of Europe’s most famous casinos. After touring Baden Baden, an exceptional travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we continue to Heidelberg, another magnificent city in Germany. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Elegant and refined, Heidelberg welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 3rd Day Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities tour (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (110 Euro) Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height. Embraced by the strong arms of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our enchanting walk accompanied by the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, home to Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, the city’s shopping avenue. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city located in the heart of Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this charming city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we finish our tour and transfer to our hotel. 4th Day Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Ankara
After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Located in the southwest of Germany, nestled among lush green hills, Stuttgart stands out not only as an industrial giant but also with its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural fabric. During our city tour, Stuttgart’s largest square, Schlossplatz (Palace Square), Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Palace), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church) will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to the airport at the time indicated by our guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Ankara at 19:45 with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ791. Arrival at 23:50 local time and the end of our tour.
