2nd Day Amsterdam – Zaanse Schans – Marken – Volendam – Giethoorn – Amsterdam
After breakfast at the hotel, our Amsterdam city tour begins. During our city tour in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, which borders Germany to the east and Belgium to the south, we will see Dam Square, Central Station, the National Monument, the Royal Palace, and the Flower Market. After the tour, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Fairytale Villages and Canals tour (Zaanse Schans & Marken & Volendam & Giethoorn Hobbit Village tour). (100 Euro) Our tour starts with Zaanse Schans. Zaanse Schans, one of the hidden paradises of the Netherlands, is a famous Dutch town with old historic windmills that still operate today and untouched nature dating back to the 17th century. In Zaanse Schans, with its historic windmills and wooden houses, you will feel as if you are visiting an open-air museum, in a beauty unlike anywhere else in the world. Our second stop is Marken. After exploring this wonderful island, which was once an island but was later connected to the mainland by filling in the gap between it and the land, we head to Volendam. Volendam; with its harbor, characteristic Dutch houses, and people in traditional clothing, is a place that impresses visitors at first sight. After spending a pleasant time in this town where you can taste delicious seafood and cheeses and buy inexpensive souvenirs, our final stop is Giethoorn Hobbit Village. Considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, Giethoorn is one of Europe’s most fairy-tale-like places. It gained its popularity after the 1958 film “Fanfare” was shot here, and since then it has become increasingly famous, welcoming over 800,000 tourists a year. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 3rd Day Amsterdam – Brugge – Ghent – Amsterdam
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Cities of Brugge & Ghent tour. (100 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Brugge, famous for its magnificent beauty. Brugge, which is among the most visited cities in Europe today, was placed under UNESCO protection in 1991. With its medieval architecture, canals, narrow streets, bridges, historic buildings, and squares, it has become one of Europe’s most beloved cities. After exploring this beautiful city, we head to Ghent, another city where time seems to stand still. With a history of 1,400 years, Ghent was built at the confluence of the Scheldt and Lys rivers and was one of the largest and richest cities of the Middle Ages. After our tour of this city, famous for its medieval monuments and university, we head to Brussels. Brussels, one of the most remarkable stops on Benelux tours, stands out with its versatility. Thanks to its cosmopolitan structure, the city offers travelers many different opportunities, and we will visit several valuable landmarks. Among the places we will see upon arrival are the Royal Palace, the Chinese and Japanese Houses, Brussels Cathedral, the city square, the Stock Exchange Building, the Atomium Monument, and the Manneken Pis Statue. 4th Day Amsterdam – Rotterdam – Delft – The Hague – Amsterdam
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Discovery (Rotterdam & Delft & The Hague) tour. (65 Euro)
Our first stop is Rotterdam, the second largest city in the Netherlands. Rebuilt after World War II, the city is home to Europe’s largest port. On our city tour, we will see Euromast Tower, the Old Harbor District, the swan-nicknamed Erasmus Bridge (Erasmusbrug), and the Cube Houses. After our visit, we head to Delft. This city, famous for its historic canals, ceramic art workshops, and streets preserving the spirit of the Middle Ages, is followed by a visit to The Hague. The Hague, the third largest city in the Netherlands by population, is the administrative center of the Netherlands and hosts important institutions such as the Parliament Building (Binnenhof) and the International Court of Justice. After visiting this beautiful city, which is considered a kind of hidden capital, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight in Amsterdam or its surroundings.
5th Day Amsterdam – Ankara
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and free time. Our guests who wish may join the optional Amsterdam’s Splendid Canals tour. (30 Euro) How about seeing Amsterdam and its magnificent architecture from the canals as you cruise along? While touring Amsterdam’s canals by boat, which stretch over 100 km and include 165 canals, you will have the chance to view Amsterdam from a different perspective. After the tour, at the time determined by our guide, transfer to the airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart for Ankara at 20:15 with SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 773. Arrival at 02:00 local time and end of our tour.
