1e Dag ISTANBUL – CATANIA – PALERMO

We meet three hours before departure at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, following our flight with Turkish Airlines scheduled service to Catania, we proceed to our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Then we depart for our Palermo city tour. Cappella Palatina, San Giovanni Cathedral, Politeama Square, Palazzo Normanni, Wuattro Canti Square, Via Roma, and Via Liberta streets are among the places to be seen. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
2e Dag PALERMO – ERICE – CASTELLAMMARE DEL GOLFO – MONREALE – PALERMO
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Erice & Castellammare del Golfo & Monreale tour. Under UNESCO protection, it is a typical medieval town with its walls, courtyards, stone houses, and streets on top of the mountain of the same name. After the tour, depart for Castellammare del Golfo. Although it is a small fishing town, it has become one of the island’s famous towns. During our city tour here, the long coastline and the Aragonese castle are among the places to be seen. After the tour, depart for Monreale. Monreale Cathedral, famous for its mosaics and built in the 12th century, is a blend of Arabic, Byzantine, and Norman architectural styles. 3e Dag PALERMO – CEFALU – CATANIA
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Cefalu tour. Located east of Palermo on the Tyrrhenian Sea coast, Cefalu is one of Sicily’s most important tourist centers with its narrow medieval streets, houses, turquoise sea, and long beach. Also a typical fishing village, Cefalu has the famous 12th-century Cathedral and the historical laundry from the Roman period among its attractions. After the tour, depart for Catania. Upon arrival, we will conduct a city tour of Catania. During our city tour; Duomo Cathedral, Fontana Dell'elefante, Piazza Repubblica, and Etna Street are among the places to be seen. 4e Dag CATANIA – TAORMINA – SAVOCA – ETNA – CATANIA
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Taormina & Savoca & Etna tour. We visit Taormina, one of Italy’s most elegant tourist centers, famous for its magnificent gardens, villas, flower-decorated streets, and small shops, and visit the Greco-Roman theater, which has become the symbol of Taormina. Then Savoca, located in the enchanting atmosphere of Sicily, is a stop closely known to cinema lovers. Selected by UNESCO as “one of the most beautiful villages in Italy,” this charming town hosted unforgettable scenes from The Godfather. Among the places to be seen are Bar Vitelli, where the wedding scene of Michael Corleone, Al Pacino’s character, was filmed, and the historic church. Afterwards, we watch the sunset on Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. In the orange light of the sunset, with houses surrounded by lava and forests stretching as far as the eye can see, we are captivated by the mysterious phenomenon of Etna. After the tour, transfer to our Catania hotel and free time. Accommodation at our hotel.
5e Dag CATANIA – SIRACUSA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of the hotel. Then we depart for our Siracusa tour. Apollo Temple in Siracusa was converted into a church during the late Roman Empire and Byzantine Empire periods and used as a mosque during the Arab Sicilian Emirate period. Siracusa is also known as the place where the famous scientist Archimedes lived. Then, at the time indicated by our guide, we transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we fly to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines scheduled service. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, the tour and our services come to an end.
