After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we depart for Budapest on AJet Airlines flight VF109 at 14:10. We land in Budapest at 15:15 local time at Budapest Ferenc Liszt Airport. After passport and baggage procedures, we begin our panoramic Budapest city tour by departing from the airport by our vehicle. On our tour, places to be seen include Heroes’ Square, Andrássy Avenue, the Opera and Parliament Buildings, Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Matthias Church, and Elizabeth Bridge. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Upon arrival, we complete check-in and settle into our rooms. Our overnight stay will be at the 3-star ibis Styles Budapest Citywest hotel in Budapest (or similar). Day 2 | Budapest | Saturday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Estergon, Visegrad, and Szentendre tour organized by our guide. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Danube River boat tour organized by our guide. Our overnight stay will be at the 3-star ibis Styles Budapest Citywest hotel in Budapest (or similar). → Estergon, Visegrad, and Szentendre tour | 65 EUR adult - 50 EUR child (04-11.99 years) We begin our tour with Esztergom, the first capital of Hungary and the center of the Roman Church. Esztergom Basilica and Esztergom Castle are among the places to visit. After our visit to Esztergom, we head to Visegrád Hill, which has one of the most beautiful views of the Danube River. We continue our tour with Szentendre, also known as the artists’ town, which reflects the atmosphere of a typical Mediterranean town with its narrow streets and architecture. This is the most touristy area in Hungary and where Budapest residents have summer houses. Here, we can find handmade cloths, porcelain-glass items, wine, dolls, and wooden souvenirs. After this enjoyable tour, we return to Budapest and our hotel. → Danube River boat tour | 35 EUR adult - 30 EUR child (04-11.99 years) On this tour, we will take a 1-hour boat trip on the Danube River, where Budapest’s most important historical buildings are located and which is the city’s symbol, while enjoying a complimentary drink. We will be able to take the most beautiful photos of the city, all lit up. Return to our hotel after the tour. Day 3 | Budapest – Tihany – Zagreb | Sunday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and set off for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. After approximately a 2-hour journey, we arrive at Tihany Village, located on the shore of Lake Balaton, famous for its beaches and resort towns in Hungary, and renowned for its lavender fields that turn the hills purple in summer. We will stop in this hidden gem village for sightseeing and shopping. After our visit to the village, where a wide variety of products are sold, from cosmetics to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, oils, candles, and ice creams, we cross to the opposite shore of the lake by a short ferry ride and continue our journey to Zagreb. Continuing along the lakeshore, after approximately a 3-hour journey, we arrive and begin our panoramic Zagreb city tour, which we will carry out on foot. In the city divided into Upper Town (Gornji Grad) and Lower Town (Donji Grad), sights to be seen include Zrinjevac Park, Bogovićeva Street, which can be called Zagreb’s Istiklal Avenue, Ban Jelačić Square, the city’s main square and heart, the large Dolac Market, Zagreb Cathedral with its ornate architecture and two towers built in the early 1200s, Skalinska Street, Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church with its distinctive roof dating back to the 13th century, and the popular shopping street Ilica. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Upon arrival, we complete check-in and settle into our rooms. Our overnight stay will be at the 4-star Hotel Blue in Zagreb (or similar). Day 4 | Zagreb – Ljubljana | Monday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and depart for Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Passing through the border gate between these two European Union member countries, where border controls have been reintroduced, we arrive in Ljubljana after approximately a 2-hour journey (depending on border crossing time). Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Ljubljana city tour on foot in what is perhaps Europe’s most romantic small city. On our tour, places to be seen include the Ljubljanica River, Prešeren Square and Triple Bridge, Ljubljana University, Congress Square, Ribja Bridge, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Butcher’s Bridge, and Dragon Bridge. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. Upon arrival, we complete check-in and settle into our rooms. Guests who wish may join the optional Bled Lake tour organized by our guide. Our overnight stay will be at the 3-star B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park in Ljubljana (or similar). → Bled Lake tour | 55 EUR adult - 45 EUR child (04-11.99 years) We will travel by coach to Bled Lake, a natural wonder about 1 hour from Ljubljana and a place many dream of after seeing its photos on social media. After seeing the magnificent church built in Baroque style on Bled Island in the middle of the lake and Bled Castle, located on steep cliffs 100 meters above lake level with its medieval-style architecture, there will be free time. During free time, those who wish can take a boat called a Pletna to tour the lake, go to Bled Island and ring the wishing bell, view the picturesque lake scenery from the café of Bled Castle (entrance fee extra), take a peaceful walk along the lake shore, or relax at the cafés closest to the lake. We will meet at the time announced by our guide and return to Ljubljana and our hotel. Day 5 | Ljubljana | Tuesday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Venice tour organized by our guide. Our overnight stay will be at the 3-star B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park in Ljubljana (or similar). → Venice tour (Italy) | 125 EUR adult - 95 EUR child (04-11.99 years) After an enjoyable journey of approximately 3 hours, we arrive at Tronchetto Square by coach and begin our panoramic Venice city tour. From the square, we take a short vaporetto ride to St. Mark’s Square. On our tour, places to be seen include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took their last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Towers, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After this excursion, there will be free time for shopping and exploration. Guests who wish may join the optional gondola tour organized by our guide. After completing our tour, we return to Ljubljana and our hotel. → Gondola tour (Italy) | 30 EUR adult and child (No child discount) The gondola ride, lasting about half an hour among the canals, is a dreamlike experience associated with Venice and a memory that will stay with us for life. Day 6 | Ljubljana – Graz – Vienna | Wednesday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and depart for Graz, Austria’s second-largest city, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After about a 2.5-hour journey, we begin our panoramic Graz city tour on foot. Sights to be seen include the monumental Freiheitsplatz, Graz Cathedral, the old town where Graz’s former nobility lived and its main square Hauptplatz, Graz City Hall, the famous shopping street Sporgasse, Kunsthaus Graz (from the outside), the Mur River that historically divided people by class in the city, the small Mur Island, and Schlossbergplatz Square, named after the Castle Hill and offering views of the clock tower Uhrturm. At the end of our tour, we continue our journey to Vienna. After about a 2.5-hour journey, we arrive in Vienna and begin our panoramic Vienna city tour. On our tour, places to be seen include the Opera House, University, Parliament Building, Theater, Prater, Hofburg Palace, Hundertwasser House, and the Museum Quarter. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel. We complete check-in and settle into our rooms. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Grinzing evening with dinner tour organized by our guide. On our panoramic Bratislava tour, located on the banks of the Danube River, we will see traces of the Turks from the period of the First Siege of Vienna in 1529, Bratislava Castle, St. Martin’s Cathedral, a walk through the old historical city, Grassalkovich Palace, Parliament, the Slovak National Theatre, and the historic building where Mozart gave his first concert to Maria Theresa at age 6 (from outside). After our visits and free time for lunch, we meet at the time announced by our guide and return to Vienna and our hotel. → Vienna night tour | 25 EUR adult - 15 EUR child (04-11.99 years) You are invited to discover Vienna’s enchanting atmosphere, reborn with the city lights at night. During our tour, we will enjoy a pleasant panoramic drive along Ringstrasse, one of the city’s most prestigious avenues. Along this route, we will have the chance to admire the Parliament Building, Burgtheater, University, and Opera House in their impressive illuminated forms. One of the special stops in our program is Prater, one of Vienna’s symbols, and its famous giant Ferris wheel. We will also be able to photograph the night view of Hofburg Palace, which stands out with its grandeur. Throughout the tour, we will take short walks to experience the city’s nightlife up close and enjoy Vienna’s elegant and romantic atmosphere. Return to our hotel after the tour. Day 8 | Vienna – Istanbul | Friday [B] After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and depart for Vienna Airport. After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Ajet Airlines flight VF018 at 12:40. We land at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:55 local time and the tour ends.
