SAMSUN – STUTTGART – STRASBOURG – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL After completing baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures at Samsun Airport International Terminal by being present 3 hours before the flight, we are flying to Stuttgart on SunExpress Airlines scheduled flight XQ1750 at 04:10. Upon arrival at Stuttgart Airport at 06:45 local time, we set off to carry out our panoramic Strasbourg city tour. Located on the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg will welcome us like something out of a fairy tale, with a picture-perfect beauty. During our panoramic city tour, which we will conduct by walking in the vehicle-free center and streets of Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the very heart of the city, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house that still serves today as a hotel and restaurant. After the Strasbourg tour and the free time to be given, we head to our hotel in the Alsace region. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, we first visit the fairy-tale town of Colmar and see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and Petite Venise (Little Venice), the city’s most famous area with colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will have the chance to taste many delicious foods according to your preferences as well as shop for many souvenirs. Our next stop in the tour is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flowered balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone pedestrian streets, buildings that somehow escaped damage from World War II, and charming cafes; with its tower containing the museum that preserves the city’s story and documents to this day, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit in Riquewihr, we continue on to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time for rest. ALSACE – BERN – (By Train: Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical character, it is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Bern, located within Switzerland and officially German-speaking, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour of Bern, which is established around the Aare River, guests will have free time. During this time, guests who wish may join our optional By Train: Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop is Interlaken. We will tour Interlaken, which takes its name from its location between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun (“inter-lakes”), and is famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking views of these landscapes. The region’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are on our walking tour route. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After the free time for photos and sightseeing, we head to the train station to continue to Lauterbrunnen, our next stop. Taking the train from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after approximately a 20-minute journey. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as soon as we exit the station. As we walk toward the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting structure of Staubbach Falls cascading down toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley and walking paths, home to 72 waterfalls. During our walk along the designated route in the village, we will take plenty of photos of the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its wonderful, heavenly landscapes. We complete the tour by returning to Interlaken by train. After the tour, we head to Geneva and upon arrival we conduct our city tour. Known as the “French city of Switzerland,” Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva and is an extraordinary city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations (CERN, World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, United Nations) in Geneva gives the city a central cultural and administrative position. During our sightseeing tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air meet, St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become Geneva’s symbol and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall will be among the main places to see. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room check-in and free time for rest. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal-based layout and its extraordinary location between mountains and a lake. During our visit, Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography lovers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room check-in and free time for rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join our optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). In this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. As we walk through its narrow, winding, traffic-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After visiting La Croisette Boulevard, which stretches along Cannes’ coast and hosts many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we enjoy free time before arriving in Nice. In Nice, we see Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Palace of Justice. Upon arrival, we conduct our panoramic tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino has inspired songs and is a place of remarkable beauty with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views that leave visitors in awe. After our visit to Portofino, we head to the center of Milan to conduct our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also notable for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano will be among the main places to see. At the end of the Milan city tour, we move to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival, room check-in and free time for rest. MILAN – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS & RED TRAIN – (Lucerne Tour) – ALSACE/BASEL After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to St. Moritz for an unforgettable train journey on the Bernina railway line, a journey so breathtaking it seems to belong in dreams. Upon arrival in St. Moritz, a natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set, we make a short sightseeing tour. After free time that may be available depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Bernina railway line, we arrive at the station for our unforgettable and breathtaking train journey with the Bernina Express / Red Train. During this magical journey on the world-famous line built between 1898 and 1904, which is now on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and is a dream for many travel enthusiasts, we will witness extraordinary views and have the chance to photograph them. After approximately a 2-hour pleasant train ride, we arrive at Tirano Station and, depending on the train departure time on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Bernina railway line, after free time and a short sightseeing tour, we depart for our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. On the way, guests who wish may join our optional Lucerne Tour (50 Euro). In Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most popular tourist centers, famous for its nature and festivals held throughout the year, we will have the chance to photograph the views of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi, see the Musegg Wall and the Lion Monument in the old town with its historic houses, and see the city’s symbol, the Chapel Bridge, as well as the 17th-century Jesuit Church. After a short free time in Lucerne, we continue our journey to Alsace/Basel. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, room check-in and free time for rest. ALSACE – FREIBURG – OUTLET – STUTTGART – SAMSUN After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Freiburg. In Freiburg, where since 2010 only low-carbon vehicles are allowed, and transportation is mainly provided by trams and bicycles, the city of happy people, we can see traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which have ruled the city throughout history. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg includes the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we head to the world-famous Metzingen Outletcity, home to outlet stores of many famous brands and attracting shopping enthusiasts from all over the world. Following our visit to Metzingen Outletcity, designed as an outlet city and offering its visitors a very comfortable and enjoyable time for strolling and shopping, we set off for Stuttgart Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Samsun on SunExpress Airlines scheduled flight XQ1591 at 21:55. Arrival at Samsun Airport at 02:45 local time and end of the tour.
