1st DAY ISTANBUL – ROME We meet you, our valued guests, in front of the AJet Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart on a scheduled AJet Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we proceed to Rome city center by our private bus waiting for us at the airport for a panoramic city tour. After arriving in Rome, we begin our panoramic city tour. During our tour, the places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia, where Mussolini addressed the public and which is the topographic center of Rome and Italy; the Vittorio Emanuele II National Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the “Trevi” Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Square with its sunken ship fountain. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel. 2nd DAY ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional “Step by Step Rome” tour organized by our guide for an additional fee (95€). On this tour, we explore Rome, one of the oldest cities in the world and once called Caput Mundi, the center of the world. The places to be visited include the Pantheon, built by Agrippa before Christ and featuring the largest dome dedicated to all the gods of Paganism; Piazza Navona, considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world with its three fountains; the San Luigi dei Francesi Church, where we will have the opportunity to see works by Caravaggio; the Church of Sant’Andrea della Valle, one of Rome’s most beautifully decorated churches; and Campo de’ Fiori, which also hosts a permanent market in another famous square of Rome. After the tour, we enjoy world-famous Roman ice cream and free time. After free time, transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. Step by Step Rome Tour (95 Euro): Transportation + Guide service + Ice cream included 3rd DAY ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional “Outlet and Lakes Region” (Castel Gandolfo-Nemi) & Vatican tour organized by our guide (80 Euro). After visiting the region of natural beauty where the Popes spend their summers and Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries and a place you will always want to live in, we enjoy free time at Italy’s most famous outlet area. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time for visiting the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the Rome Night Tour (30 Euro) in the evening, or the entertaining Ancient Rome-style dinner night tour (75 Euro). Overnight at your hotel. *Today’s extra tours are combined operations. If purchased separately, transportation to the tour starting/ending points must be arranged individually. 4th DAY ROME – ISTANBUL After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Rome Airport depending on the flight time. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, depart for Istanbul on a scheduled AJet Airlines flight. Upon arrival, the tour and our services end.
