1st Day – Saturday | Istanbul – Xanthi (Skopje) We depart from Kadıköy marriage registry at 04:00 AM, from Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe front at 04:30 AM, from İncirli Ömür Plaza front at 05:00 AM, from Beylikdüzü Marmara Park Mall front at 05:30 AM, and from Silivri Vega Center front at 06:00 AM. (Please be at the specified locations no later than 15 minutes before the departure times.) After approximately 3 hours of travel, we complete customs and passport procedures upon arrival, then cross into Greece, and after a one-hour journey, we arrive at Xanthi (Skopje) center. In the important settlement of Western Thrace Turks, Xanthi, we take a brief panoramic walking tour of the old market area lined with traditional old Turkish houses reminiscent of Safranbolu, then enjoy free time at some beautiful cafes and tavernas. Afterwards, check into the accommodations and have free time. Guests wishing can participate in an additional organized shopping tour at Filamingo Outlet Mall & Jumbo Shopping Center (additional fee of €25). We will return to the hotel around 19:00. Overnight stay in Xanthi (Skopje) city center. 2nd Day – Sunday | Xanthi – Thassos – Istanbul We start the day with a pleasant Sunday breakfast. Xanthi (Skopje) has free time until the evening. Guests who wish can participate in an extra organized tour of Thassos Island (additional fee of €45). The tour departs from the hotel at 08:00 AM, heading to the port of Keramoti after a 45-minute drive, then transferring by ferry to Thassos Island. We drop off some guests directly at La Scala Beach (entrance fee not included). Our Thassos tour begins with our first stop at Panagia village, the most pristine village and the most sacred settlement of the island. We walk among traditional Greek village houses to see the Panagia Church, then visit a traditional olive oil factory and museum famous for its olives. During the village break, those interested can enjoy coffee at the village square café or try local delicacies such as lamb/goat/kokoreç at the most famous tavern on the island. Then, we do a panoramic tour of Limenas area. Guests can enjoy the beaches with sea, sand, and sun in Limenas or taste Greek flavors at Taverns or shop in the town. At 16:15, we leave La Scala Beach, at 16:30 Limenas, and at 16:45, depart by ferry back to Keramoti. We visit the Kavala cookie factory outlet before heading towards Ipsala border crossing, including shopping opportunities at Yunan Freeshop during customs and passport procedures. We pass through İpsala, Keşan, and Tekirdağ to arrive back in Istanbul, ending our tour. We look forward to seeing you on our next tour...
