Day 1: DEPARTURE FROM ISTANBUL TO THESSALONIKI We begin our tour by meeting at 20:00 in front of Kadıköy Evlendirme Dairesi, at 20:30 in front of Mecidiyeköy Trump Tower, at 21:00 in front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, and at 21:30 in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park Havaist stop. Departure via Tekirdağ to İpsala. After customs and passport procedures, we enter Greece. We continue our journey through Alexandroupoli, Komotini, and Xanthi. Route: İpsala – Kipi – Kavala – Thessaloniki Approximate Distance: 570 km Day 2: THESSALONIKI – IGOUMENITSA Then we take a city tour of Thessaloniki. During our tour, places to be seen include the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair Grounds, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, Aya Dimitros Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Greece, and the Statue of Alexander the Great. At the end of the tour, we visit the house of Great Leader Atatürk. After a short rest, we take a walk along the waterfront, famous for its cafes, and taste Greece’s famous coffee, frappe, in the cafes. After the city tour, free time. Meeting at the time announced by our guide and departure to Igoumenitsa Port. After customs procedures, we transfer to our reserved seats for the group and depart. Our night will be spent on the ferry. Our first stop is Naples. In this city, famous for its warm and friendly people in Southern Italy, we will see Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Teatro di San Carlo. Then we proceed to Rome, the capital of Italy. If time allows, we will take a night tour of Rome. During our tour, the iconic Colosseum, Navona Square, Pantheon, and Via del Corso are among the places we will see. Transfer to our hotel, room allocation, and overnight at our hotel. Places to be seen include the Vatican, considered the center of Christianity, and St. Peter’s Basilica, a masterpiece of architecture whose dome rises to 136 meters. Inside the church, we see Michelangelo’s famous sculpture depicting the moment after Jesus was crucified, when His body passed away in the arms of the Virgin Mary. We also see Pieta, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trajan’s Forum, Circo Massimo arena, the Venice Square where Mussolini addressed the people, Vittoriano Monument, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna). Then we proceed to the medieval city of Siena and arrive there. As we walk through the historic medieval streets dating back to the Etruscans, we take a journey through time into the past. We will see Piazza del Campo, where the Palio races are held, Palazzo Pubblico, Mangia Tower, Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral (Duomo), and examples of Gothic-Romanesque architecture. Then we head to the hotel where we will stay overnight, room allocation, and overnight at our hotel. Upon arrival, we take the Florence city tour. During this tour, the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Uffizi Art Gallery, San Giovanni Battista Baptistery, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, and Signoria Palace are among the places to be seen. After the tour, free time in the city center. Then we visit Pisa, one of the icons of Tuscany and Italy. Pisa, remembered for its leaning tower, offers us great photo opportunities at Campo dei Miracoli (Duomo, Miracle Square) and the cylindrical baptistery. After visiting Pisa, we head to Milan, where we will stay overnight, room allocation, and transfer to our accommodation. We head to the city center of Milan. On our city tour, we walk along the stylish streets of the city and arrive at the famous Duomo Square. There we see the Duomo Cathedral, one of Italy’s most important and architecturally magnificent works. We complete our city tour with shopping at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the famous Buenos Aires Boulevard. In the late afternoon, we head to Verona and begin our introductory tour. We arrive in Verona, a city of marble and home to the world’s most famous love story, Romeo and Juliet. We will have the opportunity to see the old city, the historic Arena where concerts are still held today, the Signori Palace, and Brave-Dante and Erbe Squares. Then we proceed to Venice, Italy’s romantic city. Upon arrival in Venice, we take private vaporetto boats to reach the historic San Marco Square. The square, San Marco Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Grand Canal, and Rialto Bridge are among the places to be seen with our guide. If you wish, you may join an optional paid gondola tour to explore the romantic and historic canals in greater detail from the water. At the end of our tour, free time. First, we stop in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Upon arrival, we begin our walking tour of this small yet one of Europe’s most romantic cities. During our tour, some of the places we will see include Prešeren Square, Triple Bridge, Dragon Bridge, and the castle. Then, passing through Croatia, we arrive in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. After arriving in Belgrade, during our walking tour, we will see Knez Mihajlova Street, Kalemegdan Fortress, the Monument of Gratitude to France, Istanbul Gate, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, the panorama point, Victor Monument, Zindan Gate, Leopold Gate, the clock tower, and the walls, among others. After the walking tour, you may stroll through Belgrade’s lively streets, taste different flavors of ice cream at the ice cream shop recommended by your guide, or enjoy a coffee while observing the surroundings and the city. During our tour, places to be seen include St. Nedelya Church, the Rotunda Church, the Russian Church, Hagia Sophia Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Prime Ministry, the Parliament, Sofia University, Banya Bashi Mosque, and the National Palace of Culture (NDK). After the bus journey, we depart for Istanbul and arrive there. End of our tour and services.
