Day 1: Istanbul – Chisinau Meet at the agency desk in the departure terminal of Istanbul Airport. Depart for Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, on Turkish Airlines flight TK269 at 08:35. After a comfortable flight, arrive at 09:05 local time and, after completing border entry procedures, begin our panoramic city tour by private vehicle. During our panoramic Chisinau city tour, we will explore Chisinau, the capital and largest city of Moldova. We start our tour along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, one of the city’s landmarks, and see the Great Stefan Monument and Park. Then we will see, from the outside, the Orthodox Nativity Cathedral, one of Moldova’s most important places of worship, and the Triumph Arch. During our city tour, the Parliament Building, the Presidential Palace, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the National Museum of History will also be among the important structures seen from the outside. After short photo stops in Chisinau, which stands out with its wide avenues and green parks bearing traces of the Soviet era, we complete our tour. Lunch Included Gagauzia Turkish Republic Tour: 95 EUR We set off toward the Gagauzia Turkish Republic in southern Moldova. Upon arrival in Comrat, the Gagauzia sign welcomes us at the entrance to the region. In this special area, where Gagauz people of Turkish origin have lived since declaring autonomy in 1994, our city tour will include panoramic views of the Square, Saint John Church, Atatürk Library and Bust, the Parliament Building, Lenin Monument, and Comrat University. After our city tour, we have lunch at a local restaurant where we taste dishes unique to Gagauz cuisine. After lunch, we head to Besalma Village and visit the Ethnography Museum, which sheds light on Gagauz history. Inside the museum, we will have the opportunity to see cultural and artistic works from the last two centuries and learn about the region’s lifestyle and traditions. After our museum visit, we watch a traditional folk show reflecting the colorful side of Gagauz culture. We then return to Comrat and complete our panoramic city tour, having the chance to closely experience the historical and cultural texture of the region. After the tour, we begin our journey back to Chisinau and, upon arrival, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel. Day 4: Chisinau – Istanbul After breakfast, depart for Chisinau Airport. After check-in procedures, we will fly to Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines scheduled flight TK274 at 15:10. After a comfortable flight, arrive in Istanbul at 17:50 and the tour ends.
