Lesvos Tour | 2 Days, 1 Night | Every Saturday from Dikili Port

Day 1: Welcome to Lesvos (Mytilene – Gera – Agiasos – Lidl)

Our tour begins with a meeting at Dikili Port at 07:00. After ticket and passport procedures, we take the ferry across the Aegean. On arrival in Lesvos, we board our waiting vehicle and begin exploring the island.

Mytilene City Tour

On a guided walking tour through the island’s capital, we explore its cultural heritage and the traces of different civilisations:

• Ermou Street, a lively shopping area
• Agios Therapon Church and its striking architecture
• The Metropolitan Church
• The Ottoman-era bazaar district
• Yeni Mosque and historic bath buildings

The walk offers a closer look at the meeting of Ottoman and Greek cultures. Around midday, there is free time, with the opportunity to enjoy local food by the sea.

Lidl Shopping Stop

Near the port area, we stop at Lidl for shopping. Guests can browse Greek cheeses, olive oils, seafood, snacks and local products, including food gifts.

Gera Bay and Agiasos Village

After the lunch break, we take a panoramic drive via Gera Bay, known for its olive groves, and continue to the traditional village of Agiasos.

Exploring Agiasos

• A walk through narrow stone streets
• Small shops selling handmade ceramics, lace and wooden items
• A visit to the Church of the Virgin Mary, an important religious site on the island
• A coffee break surrounded by nature
• Free time for photographs and shopping

At the end of the day, we check in at our hotel and rest.

Taverna Evening

Guests who wish to participate can join a traditional Greek taverna evening, with live music, Greek melodies, dancing and a selection of meze.

Day 2: Exploring Northern Lesvos (Petra – Molivos – Mandamados)

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our second day of exploration.

Petra

Our first stop is Petra, known for its scenery. We visit Panagia Glykofilousa, reached by 114 steps on a high rock, and take in the Aegean views. There is then free time in the centre of Petra.

Molivos (Mithymna)

We continue to Molivos, with its stone houses, narrow streets and historic atmosphere. We explore traditional architecture, see old Ottoman buildings and fountains, and stop for photographs. Guests also have free time by the sea for swimming and lunch.

Mandamados

At Mandamados, we visit the Church of Archangel Taxiarchis, one of the island’s important religious sites. After the visit, there is a short break for local yoghurt with honey and walnuts, and loukoumades.

Local Flavours

We visit Mystakelli Cheese Farm to discover local cheeses and taste feta produced using traditional methods.

Thermi and Return

On our return route via Thermi, we see the Ottoman-era Sarlıca Palace Hotel panoramically. After customs procedures at Mytilene Port, we return to Dikili by ferry, where the tour ends.
