1. DAY — ISTANBUL – ST. PETERSBURG Meeting at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to St. Petersburg on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight at 10:40. Arrival at 14:30 in St. Petersburg, known as the Venice of the North and the Imperial Capital. After meeting, we will take a panoramic St. Petersburg city tour by our private bus. During our tour, the following places will be seen: Pushkin Monument, Gostiny Dvor, Aurora Ship, Beloselski-Belozersky Palace, Admiralty Building, and Moskovskaya Street. After the city tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest. Guests who wish may join the optional evening activity organized by our guide, Russian Night with Dinner and Show Program (130 EUR per person). Overnight at our hotel. 2. DAY — ST. PETERSBURG After breakfast, free time. Our first stop is the Hermitage Museum, which is known as St. Petersburg’s most important landmark and fully deserves this title as one of the world’s largest museums. Its collections contain more than 3 million works of art, including pieces from Antiquity, Western Europe, the Middle East, and many other historical artifacts. The history of the museum dates back to 1764, when Russian Empress Catherine the Great purchased a massive collection of Western European artworks. During the tour, you will visit the historic rooms where the museum’s most prominent works are exhibited. On our tour, we continue our journey through history with visits to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and Kazan Cathedral, both of which hold an important place in history. You can enjoy the city with a guided walk around Palace Square and Nevsky Avenue. After the tour, return to our hotel. Guests who wish may join the Pushkin Town Tour organized as an extra by our guide (65 EUR per person). In this famous town where the aristocracy of the Tsarist era met the Tsar family, the school where the poet Pushkin studied is also located. Our tour continues with a panoramic visit to Catherine Palace. Built in 1717, the palace is a magnificent structure reflecting the splendor of the Baroque period and has undergone many transformations since its original design. Known in the late 18th century as the summer palace of Empress Elizabeth and Catherine the Great, the palace is now one of the most important historical buildings of Russian architecture. After strolling through the town, return to St. Petersburg and free time. Guests who wish may join the New Holland Island Tour organized as an extra by our guide (45 EUR per person). New Holland, founded in the 18th century for the Russian Navy and today one of St. Petersburg’s most popular culture and lifestyle islands, combines historical atmosphere with modern art, design, cafes, and restaurants in a unique setting. While in summer the island comes alive with open-air concerts, art exhibitions, festivals, and events, in winter it transforms into a magical place with a giant ice rink, skiing, and winter activities. During our tour, you will explore this creative island, take a pleasant walk, and enjoy free time to spend in the cafés and benefit from the events for those who wish. After the free time given by our guide, return to the hotel and free time. In the evening, you may ask our guide for information about alternative options such as concerts, events, or restaurants. Overnight at our hotel. 4. DAY — ST. PETERSBURG – ISTANBUL Breakfast and final preparations. Transfer to the airport by our private vehicle. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, flight to Istanbul at 15:35 on Pegasus Airlines scheduled service. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 19:25. End of our tour.
