KONYA – STUTTGART – STRASBOURG – ALSACE/BASEL
We arrive at Konya Airport’s International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight to complete baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, and then fly to Stuttgart at 10:00 on SunExpress Airlines scheduled flight XQ1776. After arriving at Stuttgart Airport at 12:35 local time, we set off to carry out our panoramic Strasbourg city tour. Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, will greet us like something out of a fairy tale, with the beauty of a painting. During our panoramic city tour on foot through the pedestrianized center and streets of Strasbourg, which was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and has hosted the European Parliament since 1992, the places we will see include Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located right in its heart, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which continues to serve as a hotel and restaurant today. After the Strasbourg tour and some free time, we head to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to rest.
ALSACE/BASEL – BERN – (By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Bern, located within Switzerland and where the official language is German, also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, free time will be given, and those who wish may join the optional By Train to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour will be Interlaken. We will tour Interlaken, which takes its name from being located between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, and is famous for its natural beauty and the breathtaking views that accompany it. The city’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are located along our walking tour route. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel and Höhematte Park, two of the city’s historical landmarks, will be among the places we see panoramically. After free time for photos and a short visit, we head to the train station to continue to our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. With our train departing from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after about a 20-minute ride. We will feel the deep shape of the valley and the steep rock walls as soon as we leave the station. Walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting form of Staubbach Falls cascading down toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for the small settlements lined along the valley, which is home to 72 waterfalls, and for its walking paths. On our walk along the designated route through the village, we will photograph the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful natural scenery that resembles paradise. We complete our tour by returning to Interlaken by train. After the tour, we head to Geneva and, upon arrival, take part in our city tour. Known as the “French-speaking part of Switzerland,” Geneva, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives Geneva a central cultural and administrative role. During our tour in Geneva, where museums, parks, historic monuments and streets, and fresh air come together, the main places to be seen include St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Nice. On the way, those who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal-filled structure and its extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our tour in Annecy, Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third-largest lake in France, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Nice. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, those who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour, we will first see the old town, the city’s first settlement. As we walk through the narrow, winding, traffic-free streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our tour along Cannes’ seafront, La Croisette Boulevard, home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we reach Nice, where we will see Promenade des Anglais, Nice Harbor, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Milan. On the way, those who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Encircled by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we head to the center of Milan to carry out our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out with its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is known as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right address for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to St. Moritz for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. On the way, those who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer houses of Hollywood celebrities, European wealthy elites, and the world jet set, and we will take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. After a short free time in Como, we continue to St. Moritz. After arriving in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and favorite destination of the jet set, we take a short free time and a sightseeing tour before starting our journey on the Bernina train. Built between 1898 and 1904, and today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the world-famous Bernina Train is the dream of many travel enthusiasts. During this fairytale journey, we will watch extraordinary landscapes and have the chance to take photos. After approximately a 2-hour pleasant train ride, we arrive at Tirano Station. From Tirano station, we continue to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region with our waiting vehicle. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to rest.
ALSACE/BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – OUTLET – STUTTGART
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Stuttgart. On the way, those who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first go to the fairy-tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the most famous part of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods as well as buy many souvenirs. Our next stop in the Alsace region is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to traffic, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafés; with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the city’s history with documents, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Stuttgart. After our visit to Metzingen Outletcity, designed as an outlet city and offering visitors a very comfortable and enjoyable time for shopping and strolling, we arrive at our hotel in the Stuttgart region. STUTTGART – KONYA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Stuttgart city center to carry out our city tour. Although Stuttgart is one of Germany’s most developed cities in industry, it is also very much appreciated by visitors for having managed to remain green and is one of the country’s centers of culture, art, and history. During our city tour in Stuttgart, the New Palace (Neues Schloss), built in Baroque style in the 18th century and in front of which the Stuttgart Summer Festival has been held every year since 1991, the Old Castle (Altes Schloss), and the Art Museum building, which stands in the heart of the city and draws attention with its glass architecture reflecting the city skyline, are among the main places to be seen panoramically. After the city tour, we head to Stuttgart Airport for our return flight to Konya. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Konya at 14:00 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ1777. Arrival at Konya Airport at 18:15 local time and end of the tour.
