1. DAY — ISTANBUL – PESCARA – NAPLES We meet in front of the Freebird Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we depart on a special Freebird Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to Naples by our private coach waiting for us at the airport. After arrival, we take a panoramic city tour of Naples. During our tour, we will see places such as the Royal Palace built in the 16th century, the San Carlo Theatre, which hosts some of the world’s most important performances, the Umberto I Gallery famous for its cafés and shops, the Church of San Francesco di Paola inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, Piazza Plebiscito, Castel Nuovo, and Naples Port. After the city tour, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 2. DAY — NAPLES – ROME We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we depart for Rome. Before that, guests who wish may join the optional Pompei Ancient City Tour arranged by our guide en route (55€ per person). The city of Pompeii remained buried under 7 meters of earth until the 18th century following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After excavations carried out at that time, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people that emerged. Upon arrival, we proceed for a panoramic Rome city tour. During our city tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Venice Square and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument where Mussolini addressed the public, the Colosseum that hosted gladiator battles, the Trevi Fountain made famous by the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps with the Fountain of the Boat. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 3. DAY — ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour arranged by our guide (70€ per person). After visiting the region of natural beauty where the popes spend their summers and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries, we will have free time for shopping at the famous Castel Romano Outlet in Italy. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome by Night Tour arranged by our guide (30€ per person). Accommodation at the hotel. 4. DAY — ROME – FLORENCE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the optional Orvieto Tour arranged by our guide en route (30€ per person). After seeing the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, a city of great importance in Italy’s art and general history and endowed with extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, we will see the Arno River dividing Florence in two, the Ponte Vecchio famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the Hercules and David statues, the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with the third-highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Accommodation at the hotel. 5. DAY — FLORENCE After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Tuscany Tour arranged by our guide (100 Euro). Our first stop is Pisa, where we will see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and the Miracoli Square right next to it. Then we continue to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as if you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterno Square. After the tour, we head to Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is strongly reflected, there are a total of 17 neighborhoods. In our Siena city tour, we will see Campo Square, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the neighborhoods, the unfinished Siena Duomo, and the city’s narrow streets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 6. DAY — FLORENCE – MILAN After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests who wish may join the optional Bologna Tour arranged by our guide en route (30€ per person). In our Bologna city tour, we will see Piazza Maggiore, considered the center of Bologna; Neptune Fountain right behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; the first university building in Europe; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna. After the tour, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival, we take a panoramic Milan city tour. During our tour, we will see the Milan Duomo, Italy’s second-largest church whose construction took approximately 500 years, Sforza Castle, and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, home to some of the world’s most famous fashion stores. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 7. DAY — MILAN – VENICE After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Before that, guests who wish may join the optional Verona & Lake Garda Tour arranged by our guide en route (50€ per person). During our tour, we will see the house of Romeo and Juliet, the greatest love story in history, the Verona Arena, Scaligero Bridge with its unique architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After the Verona tour, we visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. Then we continue our journey to Venice. After the tour, we continue to Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark’s Square and begin our panoramic Venice city tour. During our city tour, we will see the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After the city tour, guests who wish may join the optional Gondola Tour, the symbol of Venice, arranged by our guide during free time (35€ per person). After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 8. DAY — VENICE – PESCARA – ISTANBUL We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, at the time determined by our guide, we transfer to Pescara Airport. Before that, guests who wish may join the optional San Marino Tour arranged by our guide en route (35€ per person). During our tour in this small country, one of Europe’s 6 microstates, surrounded by Italian territory and with tourism making up 50% of its income, you will see Piazza della Liberta (Liberty Square), Guaita Castle, Cava dei Balestrieri, and Porta San Francesco Church. After the tour, we continue to the airport. Upon arrival, after baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a special Freebird Airlines flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of the tour.
