1. DAY ISTANBUL – PESCARA – ROME We meet our valued guests at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, in front of the Freebird Airlines check-in counter. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly with Freebird Airlines’ special flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to Rome by our private coach waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic Rome city tour. During our tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, Piazza Venezia where Mussolini addressed the public, the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights, the Trevi Fountain, famous for the film La Dolce Vita, the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps with the Fountain of the Boat among the places to be seen. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2. DAY ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour, organized by our guide, for €70 per person. After visiting the region of natural beauty where the popes spent their summers and the village of Nemi, famous for wild strawberries and a place you will want to live in permanently, we will have free time for shopping at Castel Romano Outlet, one of Italy’s most famous shopping areas. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time for visiting the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the optional Rome by Night Tour, organized by our guide, for €30 per person. Overnight at the hotel. 3. DAY ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Naples & Pompeii Tour, organized by our guide, for €95 per person. The first stop of our tour is Pompeii, a city that remained buried under 7 meters of earth until the 18th century as a result of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After the excavations, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people that were brought to light. After visiting the Pompeii open-air museum, we set off for Naples. Upon arrival, panoramic Naples city tour. During our tour, we will see Piazza Plebiscito, Naples’ central square, the Royal Palace built in the 17th century, Castel Nuovo (New Castle), the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome, the Galleria Umberto I with its shops, the San Carlo Theatre built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Naples Port. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 4. DAY ROME – FLORENCE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the optional en route Orvieto Tour for €30 per person. After seeing the ancient city center and Orvieto Cathedral in Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy’s art and general history and has extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, we will see the Arno River that divides Florence in two, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its goldsmiths, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to Renaissance masterpieces such as the statues of Hercules and David, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Overnight at the hotel. 5. DAY FLORENCE After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the Toscana Tour organized by our guide for €100. Our first stop is Pisa, where we will see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has become a symbol of Italy, and the nearby Piazza dei Miracoli. Then we continue to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as if you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterna Square. After the tour, we head to Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is strongly present, there are a total of 17 districts. In our Siena city tour, we will see Campo Square, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of the districts, the unfinished Siena Cathedral, and the narrow streets of the city. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 6. DAY FLORENCE – VENICE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the optional en route Bologna Tour for €30 per person. In our Bologna city tour, we will see Piazza Maggiore, considered the center of Bologna, the Neptune Fountain located just behind the square, the Old Stock Exchange Building, the first university building in Europe, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna. After the tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to San Marco Square and begin our panoramic Venice city tour. During our tour, we will see the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and San Giorgio Maggiore Church. After the city tour, guests may join the optional Gondola Tour, one of Venice’s symbols, organized by our guide during their free time, for €35 per person. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 7. DAY VENICE After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Ljubljana & Lake Bled Tour, organized by our guide, for €85 per person. Lake Bled, formed by the influence of the Bohinj glacier, is 2 km long and 1.3 km wide. You will not get enough of photographing the hills around the lake, their reflections on the water, the traditional boats, the magnificent island with a church on it, and the swans by the lakeside. You can enjoy your time by walking around the lake or renting a bicycle. After the tour, we head to Ljubljana. Upon arrival, panoramic city tour. The places we will see during the tour include the Ljubljana River, the Parliament building, Ljubljana University, the Old Square, and St. Nicholas Cathedral. After the tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 8. DAY VENICE – PESCARA – ISTANBUL We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, at the time determined by our guide, we transfer to Pescara Airport. Before that, guests who wish may join the optional San Marino Tour organized by our guide en route, for €35 per person. During our tour in this small country, one of Europe’s 6 microstates, surrounded by Italian territory and with tourism accounting for 50% of its income, you will see Piazza della Libertà, Guaita Castle, Cava dei Balestrieri, and Porta San Francesco Church. After the tour, we continue to the airport. Upon arrival, after baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul with Freebird Airlines’ special flight. Arrival in Istanbul and end of the tour.
