1. DAY — ISTANBUL – PESCARA – ROME We meet our valued guests in front of the Freebird Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly on Freebird Airlines’ special flight. Upon arrival, we transfer to Rome by our private coach waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival, we depart for a panoramic Rome city tour. During our tour, the sites to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Steps with the sunken ship fountain. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 2. DAY — ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the “Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour” (70 EUR per person), organized as an extra by our guide. After visiting the natural beauty of the region where the popes spend their summers and Nemi village, famous for its wild strawberries, we will have free time for shopping at the famous Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to St. Peter’s Square, regarded as the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may join the “Rome by Night Tour” (30 EUR per person), organized as an extra by our guide. Accommodation at the hotel. 3. DAY — ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the “Naples & Pompeii Tour” (95 EUR per person), organized as an extra by our guide. Our first stop is Pompeii, which remained buried under 7 meters of ash and soil until the 18th century after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. After excavations, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people revealed. After visiting the Pompeii open-air museum, we depart for Naples. Upon arrival, a panoramic Naples city tour. During our tour, the sites to be seen include Plebiscito Square, the central square of Naples; the Royal Palace built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the San Francesco di Paola Basilica, inspired by St. Peter’s Square in Rome and the Pantheon; the Galleria Umberto I, where shops are located; the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and Naples Port. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 4. DAY — ROME – FLORENCE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the “Orvieto Tour” (30 EUR per person), organized as an extra en route. After seeing the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, a city that holds an important place in Italy’s art and general history and has extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, a panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, the sites to be seen include the Arno River, which divides Florence into two; Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewelers; Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, masterpieces of the Renaissance; Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, with the 3rd tallest dome in Italy; and the Baptistery, famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Accommodation at the hotel. 5. DAY — FLORENCE After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the “Tuscany Tour” (100 EUR), organized as an extra by our guide. Our first stop is Pisa, where we will see Italy’s symbol, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the nearby Piazza dei Miracoli. Then we depart for San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as though you have stepped back into the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and Cisterno Square. After the tour, we head to Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is strongly present, there are 17 neighborhoods in total. During our Siena city tour, the sites to be seen include Campo Square, where the Palio horse races are held by the participation of the neighborhoods; the unfinished Siena Duomo; and the city’s narrow streets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 6. DAY — FLORENCE – MILAN After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests who wish may join the “Bologna Tour” (30 EUR per person), organized as an extra en route. During our Bologna city tour, the sites to be seen include Piazza Maggiore, considered the center of Bologna; the Fountain of Neptune just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; the first university building in Europe; Quadrilatero (the old market); and Bologna’s symbols, the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers. After the tour, we continue to Milan. Upon arrival, a panoramic Milan city tour. During our tour, the sites to be seen include Milan Duomo, the second largest church in Italy, which took approximately 500 years to complete; the Sforza Castle; and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to the world’s most famous fashion boutiques. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 7. DAY — MILAN – VENICE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests who wish may join the “Verona & Lake Garda Tour” (50 EUR per person), organized as an extra en route. During our tour, the sites to be seen include Juliet’s House, associated with the greatest love story in history, Verona Arena, Scaligero Bridge with its unique architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After our Verona tour, we visit Lake Garda, one of Northern Italy’s most beautiful lakes. After the tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short ferry ride to St. Mark’s Square and begin a panoramic Venice city tour. During our city tour, the sites to be seen include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering jail, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Towers, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After our city tour, guests who wish may join the optional Gondola Tour, the symbol of Venice (35 EUR per person), during their free time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. 8. DAY — VENICE – PESCARA - ISTANBUL We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, at the time determined by our guide, we transfer to Pescara Airport. However, before that, guests who wish may join the “San Marino Tour” (35 EUR per person), organized as an extra en route by our guide. In this small country, one of Europe’s six microstates, surrounded by Italian territory and where tourism makes up 50% of its income, the sites to be seen during our tour include Piazza della Libertà (Freedom Square), Guaita Castle, Cava dei Balestrieri, and the Church of Porta San Francesco. After the tour, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival, after baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Freebird Airlines’ special flight.
