1st Day ISTANBUL – BARCELONA We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After ticket, baggage, and boarding procedures, we depart on Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight to Barcelona. Upon arrival, we meet our private coach at the airport and begin our Barcelona city tour. Among the places to be seen are the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Sagrada Familia Church, La Ramblas Avenue, Montjuic Hill, Spain and Catalonia Squares, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via Avenue, the Bullring, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, guests who wish may join the Flamenco show arranged as an optional extra by our guide (60 Euro). We will have the opportunity to enjoy this impressive Spanish dance performance. After the tour, transfer to our Barcelona hotel and free time. After visiting this theatrical museum, created in 1974 by the world-famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali with his own design and team, we depart for a Girona city tour. Following our walking tour in Girona, known for its historical texture, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere, we stop for shopping at La Roca Village outlet town, one of Barcelona’s most popular shopping destinations. After this enjoyable break, where you can find world-famous brands at advantageous prices, transfer to our hotel and free time. 3rd Day BARCELONA – EL BORN – GOTIC QUARTER After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Park Güell & Gothic Quarter tour (80 Euro). This park, protected by UNESCO and called the “fairy-tale park,” is a work of Antoni Gaudi. Its colorful main stairway and imaginative pavilions create a magical atmosphere. After our visit, we head to the Gothic Quarter. After exploring the Gothic Quarter with its medieval structures, romantic squares, Roman walls, churches, labyrinth-like streets, cafes, and souvenir shops, we will now embark on an enjoyable journey behind the scenes of Barcelona, through neighborhoods that inspired master directors such as Inarritu and Woody Allen. Places to be seen include Paral-el neighborhood, El Raval, El Born streets, and Plaza Real. After the tour, guests who wish may also join the Sitges tour (50 Euro). Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. It is a place with a typical Mediterranean town spirit and, with its perfect location between the mountains and the sea, has become one of the rising destinations in recent years. We begin our visit at the magical steps of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Built in the 17th century, this cathedral stands on the remains of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey takes us through the historic streets of Sitges; within the medieval town center, Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the finest examples of Modernism, is truly a paradise for art collection enthusiasts. Right across from it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. As he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played a major role in making the town so well known. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, a venue for horror and fantasy films, is held and attracts thousands every year, we will head toward the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. 4th Day BARCELONA – ISTANBUL After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide.
