Day 1 ISTANBUL–BOLOGNA–VENICE Meeting at Istanbul Airport at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, departure for Bologna. Upon arrival in Bologna local time, we proceed to Venice with our private vehicle and guide waiting for us. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic city tour on the Venice island. Our sightseeing stops include St. Mark’s Square, the Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. Guests who wish may join the Gondola tour, organized as an extra by your guide (30€). In addition, you can join the Grand Canal tour (55€), where you will see all the beauty and historical buildings of the city on a trip by private boat along the Grand Canal, which runs through the very center of the historic island that has become the symbol of Venice. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and overnight at our hotel. Day 2 VENICE–FLORENCE (MONTECATINI) After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, we start our panoramic city tour by photographing the historic streets and squares of the city and end at Piazza Della Republica (Republic Square). After a short break, guests who wish may continue to discover Renaissance-capital Florence step by step with our guide. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to join the extra Medici’s Footsteps and Renaissance Works tour (45€). On this tour, we will examine the monuments of this historic city in detail, accompanied by the history of Florence and the life stories of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance period. During the tour, we will see Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence; Piazza Della Signoria, home to the Hercules and David statues, one of the masterpieces of the Renaissance; the Uffizi Art Gallery; the historic Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in the city, and the Medici Corridor; the House of Dante Alighieri, the famous literary master and author of the Divine Comedy epic poem from the 13th century; the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, which has the 3rd tallest dome in Italy; and the Baptistery, famous for its “Gates of Paradise,” as well as Florence’s famous historic markets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel. Day 3 FLORENCE (MONTECATINI) After breakfast, free day. For guests who wish, we depart with our guide for the Great Tuscany tour (145€). The places to be seen on our tour are Pisa, San Gimignano, and Volterra. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, considered one of the most important historic monuments in the world. During the panoramic visit, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracle Square will be visited, and guests may take photos in this historic city. San Gimignano (the City of 13 Towers) features Cisterne Square, considered the center of the town, in a city built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, you can shop extensively at affordable prices. Volterra, a medieval walled city full of history in every corner, has also been featured in Hollywood films and TV series (Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone, etc.). This unique Tuscan town, whose history dates back to the Etruscans and Romans, offers many opportunities to visitors. During our Volterra tour, we will walk through its narrow streets and squares from the Middle Ages, accompanied by the magnificent view of the Tuscan Valley. Places to be seen include the Roman Theater, the remains of the forum area, Priori Square, the town’s main square, and the Volterra Cathedral, built in the 12th century. During free time, you can taste cheese and the famous wines from the small shops in town, or sip your coffee in the historic cafes in the square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel. Day 4 FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)–ROME After breakfast, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival, panoramic Rome city tour. On our tour, we will see by bus, in panoramic fashion, some of the city’s most valuable treasures such as Vatican (St. Peter’s), Castel Sant’Angelo, the ruins of the Circus Maximus stadium from the Ancient Roman period, and the streets from the Baroque era. A short photo stop at the Colosseum, and after the tour, free time in the afternoon. In the evening, for guests who wish to join the extra Rome Night Tour (45€), we depart to see famous squares we did not see before in Rome and spend pleasant time walking through its streets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel. Day 5 ROME After breakfast, free day. For guests who wish, we depart for the extra Albano Lake & Nemi Roman Villages (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet tour (95€), organized by our guide, to an area of unique nature. We visit the region with its natural beauty, where the Popes spent their summers, and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries and a place you will want to live in permanently. The tour continues with shopping opportunities at Castel Romano Designer Outlet, where you will find many famous brands. In the rest of the day after this tour, guests who wish may join the extra Rome Monuments and Masterpieces tour (65€); on this tour, in the imperial city of Rome, which shaped European civilization and has witnessed 23 centuries of history, we will see the ancient Pantheon temple, the most famous square of the city, Piazza Navona with its Baroque architecture and famous fountain, the Trevi Fountain, where legend says that anyone who throws a coin will return to Rome, the Spanish Steps, famous for street artists, Castel Sant’Angelo, and the bridge. In this tour, which you will explore step by step with your guide, get ready to lose yourself in the ancient stories and historical texture of Rome. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight at our hotel. Day 6 ROME–ISTANBUL After breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to the airport. Departure for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines. Arrival in Istanbul local time and end of the tour.
