1st DAY — IZMIR – BOLOGNA – ROME Meet our valued guests 3 hours before the flight time in front of the Corendon Airlines counter at the International Departures terminal of Adnan Menderes Airport. After baggage drop and ticket procedures, fly to Bologna with Corendon Airlines’ special flight. Upon arrival, transfer to Rome. Arrival in Rome and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2nd DAY — ROME After breakfast at the hotel, we start our Rome city tour. During our city tour, the places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Piazza Venezia and the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, famous for the movie La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Steps with the Fountain of the Boat. After the tour, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (70€ per person), organized by our guide. After visiting the region of natural beauty where the popes used to spend their summers and the village of Nemi, famous for wild strawberries, we will have free time for shopping at the famous Castel Romano Outlet. Then we head to San Pietro Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. If purchased separately, transportation to the tour starting/ending points will be on an individual basis. 3rd DAY — ROME After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Naples & Pompeii Tour (95€ per person), organized by our guide. Our first stop is Pompeii, which remained buried under 7 meters of ash and soil until the 18th century following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After excavations, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified people that were uncovered. After visiting the Pompeii open-air museum, we continue to Naples. Upon arrival, panoramic Naples city tour. Places to be seen during our city tour include Piazza Plebiscito, the main square of Naples; the Royal Palace built in the 17th century; Castel Nuovo (New Castle); the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome; the Galleria Umberto I with its shops; the San Carlo Theatre, built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and Naples Harbor. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 4th DAY — ROME – FLORENCE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the extra Orvieto Tour (30€ per person), organized by our guide en route. After visiting the ancient city center and Orvieto Duomo in Orvieto, which has an important place in Italy’s art and general history and possesses extraordinary natural beauty, we continue to Florence. Upon arrival, panoramic Florence city tour. During our tour, the Arno River dividing Florence in two, Ponte Vecchio, famous for its goldsmiths, Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza della Signoria, home to Renaissance masterpieces such as the statues of Hercules and David, the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its doors will be among the sights to see. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Overnight at the hotel. 5th DAY — FLORENCE After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the extra Pisa & Portofino Tour (100€ per person), organized by our guide. During our tour, after seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli, we will travel by boat to the world-famous town of Portofino, which has inspired songs. You will be enchanted by this small settlement located inside a national park. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 6th DAY — FLORENCE – VENICE After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the extra Bologna Tour (30€ per person), organized by our guide en route. During our Bologna city tour, Piazza Maggiore, considered the center of Bologna; the Neptune Fountain just behind the square; the Old Stock Exchange Building; Europe’s first university building; Quadrilatero (the old market); and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become symbols of Bologna, will be among the sights to see. After the tour, we depart for Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short ferry ride to San Marco Square and begin our panoramic Venice city tour. Places to be seen during our city tour include the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took a final look at Venice before entering prison, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge’s Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After the city tour, free time. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 7th DAY — VENICE – MILAN After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Milan. Guests who wish may join the extra Verona & Lake Garda Tour (50€ per person), organized by our guide en route. During our tour, we will see the house of Romeo and Juliet, the subject of the greatest love story in history, Verona Arena, the Scaligero Bridge with its unique architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After our Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. After the tour, we continue to Milan. Upon arrival, panoramic Milan city tour. During our tour, the Milan Duomo, which took approximately 500 years to complete and is Italy’s second-largest church; the Sforza Castle; and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to the world’s most famous fashion stores, will be among the sights to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 8th DAY — MILAN – BOLOGNA – IZMIR After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bologna Airport according to the flight time. Guests who wish may join the extra Modena Tour (30€ per person), organized by our guide en route. In this small town in Central Italy, famous worldwide for Ferrari and balsamic vinegar, we will visit Duomo Square and the city’s shopping street. After free time, we continue towards Bologna. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, depart for Izmir with Corendon Airlines’ special flight. Upon arrival, end of our tour and services.
