Day 1 Izmir – Stuttgart – Strasbourg Meet 3 hours before the flight at the SunExpress Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Stuttgart at 12:05 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 972. Upon arrival in Stuttgart at 13:15 local time, meet our vehicle waiting for us at the airport and depart for Strasbourg. While touring Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval districts. With its fairytale-like nature and historical buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly a place worth seeing. Strasbourg also holds historical significance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, and stands out as a city where Alsace culture blends with French architecture. During our city tour, the Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Place Kléber, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places to see. Day 2 Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Alsace Fairy-Tale Villages tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (100 Euro) On this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity from start to finish, our first stop will be Eguisheim. Eguisheim, which was awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its historic buildings dating back to the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. While strolling through the well-preserved streets of Colmar, you will see St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely of pink stones, Little Venice with its small canals reminiscent of Venice in Italy, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building decorated with heads. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, a medieval town in France. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. The 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the town’s most prominent landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church, located in the center of town, also stands out with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, we proceed to our final stop, Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns in Alsace, featuring numerous half-timbered houses that add to the town’s charm. This historic village fascinates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old walls of the village, feeling the medieval ambiance. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight in Strasbourg or a hotel in the surrounding area. Day 3 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. After exploring Baden Baden, an exceptional international travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we continue to Heidelberg, another magnificent German city. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places to see. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or a hotel in the surrounding area. Day 4 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities tour (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (110 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall with a width of 150 meters and a height of 23 meters. This place, embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the sapphire waters. After a fascinating walk accompanied by the power of the water and its impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, striking Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping street. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city in the middle of Switzerland, located at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, as well as the Chapel Bridge and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg or a hotel in the surrounding area. Day 5 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Izmir After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Stuttgart, tucked between the green hills of southwestern Germany, stands out not only for being an industrial giant but also for its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural fabric. During our city tour, Stuttgart’s largest square, Schlossplatz (Palace Square), Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Castle), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church) will be among the places to see. After the tour, depart for the airport at the time indicated by our guide. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Izmir at 14:05 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 973.
