IZMIR – MILAN – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – NICE
We arrive at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure to complete ticketing, baggage drop, and passport procedures, and then we fly to Milan at 03:25 on Turkish Airlines’ direct special flight TK3451. Upon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport at 05:25 local time, we meet our private coach and depart for Milan city center. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also renowned for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main places to be seen. After the Milan city tour and the free time that will be offered, we head toward our hotel in the Nice region. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and an inspiration for songs with all its beauty, captivates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first depart for Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour, we first visit the old town, the city’s original settlement. While walking through its narrow, winding, traffic-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. Afterward, we see La Croisette Boulevard, which runs along Cannes’ coast and is home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, as well as Meynadier Street. Following free time, we arrive in Nice. On our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Place Massena, the Flower Market, and the Palace of Justice are among the places to be seen. After our Nice tour, during the free time that follows, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, our first stop is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the stunning Côte d’Azur, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test many beautiful and famous perfumes and purchase them at reasonable prices. Afterward, our second stop is the principality of Monaco, the world’s second-smallest country after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera, and upon arrival we will take a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Geneva. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Annecy, known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals passing through it and the Thiou River, enchants visitors with its canal-lined layout and extraordinary location between the mountains and the lake. During our visit, Chateau d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and Palais de l’Isle, a favorite for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Annecy Lake, the third largest lake in France, we complete our tour and continue toward Geneva. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Geneva region, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
GENEVA – BERN – (Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast and check-out, we take a city tour of Geneva. Known as the “French city of Switzerland,” Geneva is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva and is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations gives Geneva a central role in culture and administration. During our tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments, streets, and clean air come together, St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall are among the main places to be seen. After the city tour, we head to Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical texture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Located within Switzerland and with German as its official language, Bern also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, guests who wish may join the optional Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on the tour will be Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we will tour Interlaken, famous for its natural beauty and the enchanting views of that beauty. The town’s important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are located along our walking route. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and exploring the area, we head to the train station for our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. Taking the train from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen after about a 20-minute journey. We will immediately feel the depth of the valley and the steep rock walls upon leaving the station. While walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting Staubbach Falls cascading toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its small settlements lined along the valley, which is home to 72 waterfalls, and its walking paths. Along the route determined within the village, we will photograph the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the wonderful natural landscapes that resemble paradise. We return to Interlaken and complete our tour. After the tour, we depart for our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Alsace region, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. En route, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first visit the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the most famous part of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods and buy many souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-covered balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to car traffic, buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage, and charming cafes; with its tower housing documents that preserve the city’s story and the Dolder Museum, it is as enchanting as a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue toward Strasbourg. Strasbourg, located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France and also the largest city in the Alsace region, welcomes us like a painting, as if straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be toured on foot during our panoramic city tour, where Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located at its heart, and Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house and still operating today as a hotel and restaurant, are among the places we will see. After the Strasbourg tour and the free time that follows, we set off for Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed to enter since 2010 and transportation is mainly provided by tram and bicycle, we will see the traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, under whose rule the city has been throughout history. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg will include the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Gate, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region.
ALSACE / BASEL – ZURICH – IZMIR
After breakfast and check-out, we depart for Zurich. Upon arrival in Zurich, our city tour will include panoramic views of Fraumünster Church, Grossmünster Church, the Swiss National Museum, the Opera House, Lake Zurich, the Clock Tower, the Old Guild Houses, Zurich Altstadt (Old Town), and Bahnhofstrasse (Station Street), a lively and colorful avenue lined with world-famous shops. After a short free time following the Zurich tour, we arrive at Zurich Airport for our return flight to İzmir. After completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures at the airport, we fly to İzmir at 14:55 on SunExpress Airlines’ direct scheduled flight XQ961. Arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 18:50 local time and end of the tour.
