IZMIR – VERONA – COMO – ALSACE At İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal, after completing ticketing, baggage check-in, and passport procedures, we depart at 09:00 on Freebird Airlines’ direct charter flight to Verona. Upon arrival at Verona Airport at 10:50 local time, we meet our private coach and depart for Como. Como is a center in the Lombardy region distinguished by its historical buildings and orderly urban layout. Its squares, cathedral, and lakeside offer visitors a compact and easy area to explore. Lake Como is one of the best-known lakes in Italy, and the hills surrounding it, the settlements along its shores, and the well-organized transport links complete the region’s natural scenery. The lakeside area is visited regularly throughout the year and presents a balanced blend of city and nature. During our Como & Lake Como tour, we will first reach Como city center and view the cathedral area, squares, and waterfront from the outside. Then we will be given free time along the shores of Lake Como; during this time, participants may stroll around the lake, take photos, or explore the surroundings. After the free time, we continue to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time for rest. ALSACE – (Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Strasbourg Tour) – FREIBURG – ALSACE After breakfast, we depart for Freiburg. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Pearls of Alsace: Colmar & Strasbourg Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first travel to the fairytale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River in the city’s most famous district, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will have the opportunity to taste various delicious foods and buy many souvenirs. Our next stop is Strasbourg. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg welcomes us like a painting, as though it has come straight out of a fairy tale. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1988 and hosting the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg will be explored on foot in its car-free center and streets during our panoramic city tour. Among the places we will see are Gutenberg Square and its statue, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure located in the very heart of the city, and the Kammerzell House, the city’s oldest house, which still serves as a hotel and restaurant today. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we continue our journey to Freiburg. In Freiburg, the “city of happy people,” where only low-carbon-emission vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is mostly by tram and bicycle, our city tour will reveal traces of the historical and architectural cultures of Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden, which have all ruled the city throughout history. Also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), Freiburg’s city tour will include the Freiburg Cathedral, the small water canals unique to the city that line its charming streets, Martin’s Tor, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region. ALSACE – BERN – (Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained completely unchanged since the Middle Ages. Because of this historical character, it is included on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located in Switzerland and officially German-speaking, Bern also shows the influence of German culture in its architecture. After our tour in Bern, free time will be given, and guests who wish may join the optional Swiss Alpine Villages by Train: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop will be Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and the captivating views it offers. Important hotels, casinos, and shopping streets of the region will be along our walking tour route. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the town’s historical landmarks, and Höhematte Park will be seen panoramically. After the free time given for photography and sightseeing, we head to the train station to reach Lauterbrunnen, our next stop. After approximately a 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will immediately feel the deep structure of the valley and the steep rock walls as we exit the station. While walking toward the village center, we will have the chance to view and photograph Staubbach Falls, with its breathtaking appearance cascading toward the valley floor. Lauterbrunnen is known for its valley lined with small settlements and walking paths, home to 72 waterfalls. During our walk along the designated route in the village, we will photograph the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the splendid natural landscapes that resemble paradise. We return to Interlaken by train and complete our tour. After the tour, we depart for Geneva and upon arrival, we begin our city tour. Known as the “French-speaking city of Switzerland,” Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva and is an extraordinary city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes Geneva an important cultural and administrative center. During our visit to Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments, streets, and clean air meet, main places to be seen include St. Pierre Cathedral, Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become the symbol of Geneva and reaches up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time for rest. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Nice. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal network and its extraordinary location between mountains and a lake. During our tour, Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time on the shores of Annecy Lake, the third largest lake in France, we complete the tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time for rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, and boasting a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches, our city tour in Cannes will begin with the old town, the city’s first settlement. As we walk through the narrow, winding, traffic-free streets of the old town, we will have the opportunity to see souvenir shops and shop. After visiting La Croisette Boulevard, lined with many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels along the Cannes coast, and Meynadier Street, we proceed to Nice and are given free time there. During our Nice tour, we will see Promenade des Anglais, Nice Harbor, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After free time in Nice, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the stunning Côte d’Azur, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test and purchase beautiful and famous perfumes at affordable prices. After the tour, our second stop is Monaco, the world’s second smallest country after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera, and upon arrival we will carry out our panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – (Portofino by Boat Tour) – MILAN After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Milan. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino by Boat Tour (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino, which has inspired songs with its beauty, fascinates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean views. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although it is recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, it is also the right place for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano. At the end of the Milan city tour, transfer to our hotel in the Milan region. Check-in and free time for rest. MILAN – OUTLET – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – MILAN After breakfast, we set out to visit the outlet center. Following free time for quality and affordable shopping at the outlet center, home to stylish stores, cafés, restaurants, and leisure areas of Italy and the world’s most prestigious brands, we depart for St. Moritz for our unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Upon arrival in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, free time and a short sightseeing walk may be provided depending on the train schedule. We then proceed to the station for our unforgettable and enchanting train ride on the UNESCO World Heritage Bernina Express / Red Train. Built between 1898 and 1904, this world-famous route is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and is a dream for many travelers. During this fairy-tale journey, we will enjoy extraordinary scenery and have the chance to take photos. After approximately a 2-hour pleasant train ride, we arrive at Tirano Station and return to our hotel in the Milan region by our waiting vehicle. MILAN – VERONA – IZMIR After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Verona Airport for our return flight to Izmir. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Izmir at 13:40 on Freebird Airlines’ direct charter flight. Arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 17:05 local time marks the end of our tour.
