1st Day Istanbul – Stuttgart – Strasbourg
Meeting at Istanbul Airport, at the international departures terminal in front of the Turkish Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Stuttgart at 08:50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1701. Upon arrival in Stuttgart at 10:00 local time, we will head to Strasbourg with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. As we tour Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval district. With its fairytale-like nature and historical buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many artworks, it is a place well worth seeing. Strasbourg also holds historical significance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, and appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture are blended together. During our city tour, the Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses will be among the places seen. 2nd Day Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Fairytale Villages of Magnificent Alsace tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (€100) In this tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity from beginning to end, our first stop will be Eguisheim. Eguisheim, which was awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we head to Colmar, famous for its medieval historical buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. As we stroll through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, places to be seen include St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely of pink stone, Little Venice, which resembles Venice in Italy with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with hundreds of faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region as a French town dating back to the Middle Ages. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, the Château de Kaysersberg castle from the 13th century is one of the town’s most distinctive landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church in the center of the town also stands out with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, we head to Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting towns of Alsace, made charming by its many half-timbered houses. This historic village fascinates visitors with its old houses decorated with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and medieval atmosphere surrounded by walls. During our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the village’s old ramparts to feel the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. 3rd Day Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Germany Duo tour (Baden Baden & Heidelberg). (€85) Our first stop on the tour is Baden Baden, a nature-filled oxygen haven, cultural and arts center, with thermal baths and even Europe’s most famous casino among its many attractions. After touring Baden Baden, an exceptional travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we continue to Heidelberg, another magnificent city in Germany. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city make the Middle Ages felt in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Heidelberg, a calm, stylish, and elegant city, welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. On our city tour here, Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle will be among the places seen. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
4th Day Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg
After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities tour (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (€110) Our first stop on the tour is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which, with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height, holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall. This place, embraced by the strong currents of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the azure waters. After our enchanting walk, where we will admire the power of the water and the impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, regarded as the city’s shopping center. After the tour, we go to Lucerne, a historic city located in the central part of Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
5th Day Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Istanbul
After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Located in southwestern Germany, Stuttgart, tucked among lush green hills, stands out not only as an industrial giant but also with its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural texture. On our city tour, Schlossplatz (Palace Square), the largest square in Stuttgart, Neues Schloss (New Castle), Altes Schloss (Old Castle), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church) will be among the places seen. After the tour, we head to the airport at the time specified by our guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Istanbul at 19:00 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1706. Arrival at 23:55 local time and end of our tour.
