1st Day Istanbul – Basel – Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg

Meeting point at the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport's international departures terminal 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Basel at 07:30 with Turkish Airlines flight TK 1923. Arrival in Basel at 09:40 local time, followed by a transfer to Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the jewel of the Alsace region. Exploring Strasbourg will make you feel like you are traveling back in time through the largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods in Europe. With its fairy tale nature and historical buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is truly a place worth visiting. Strasbourg also has historical importance as the place where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, presenting itself as a city where Alsace culture is blended with French architecture. During our city tour, we will visit Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the traditional Alsace Houses in the Petit France area. After the tour, those who wish can participate in the optional tour of the Magnificent Fairy Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) for an additional fee (100 Euros). Throughout the tour, we will seize every opportunity to take photos, starting with our first visit to Eguisheim. In 2013, Eguisheim won the title of "Favorite French Village" and is a place where history and nature dance together. The colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create the postcard view of Eguisheim. After the tour, we will move to Colmar, famous for its medieval buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses that have been preserved well until today. While wandering through Colmar's well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely from pink stones, Little Venice reminiscent of the Italian city of Venice with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. Our third stop is Kaysersberg, a medieval town in France and a fascinating part of the Alsace region. Known for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical texture, the prominent symbol of the town is the Château de Kaysersberg castle from the 13th century. The Sainte-Croix Church located in the town center attracts attention with its Gothic architecture. After our tour, we move to Riquewihr, one of the most enchanting villages in Alsace, known for its colorful flower-adorned old houses, narrow streets, and medieval texture surrounded by walls. During our tour, we will also see the remains of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the old city walls to feel the medieval atmosphere. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight stay at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.
 


2nd Day Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Those who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent German Duo (Baden Baden & Heidelberg) for an additional fee (85 Euros). Our first stop on the tour is Baden Baden, an oxygen depot surrounded by nature, a cultural arts center, famous for its hot springs, and home to Europe's most famous casino among countless facilities. After exploring Baden Baden, known as a unique travel destination that has inspired many famous writers and composers, we move to Heidelberg, another magnificent city in Germany. Its streets, squares, and structures will take you on a journey through the Middle Ages. A calm, stylish, and refined city, Heidelberg will greet you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour, we will see Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.


3rd Day Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg

After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Those who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) for an additional fee (110 Euros). Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which, with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height, holds the title of the largest waterfall in Europe. Surrounded by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, this place is a heaven where you will find peace while watching the dance of the azure waters. After a mesmerizing walk admiring the power of the water and its stunning view, our 2nd stop is Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors every year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peterskirche, the largest clock tower in Europe, we will explore Bahnhofstrasse, known as the shopping center of the city. After the tour, we will proceed to Lucerne, a historic city located at the foot of the Alps in Switzerland's central region. After viewing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who died while protecting King Louis XVI and his family; Chapel Bridge; and the breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne, we will conclude our tour and transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Strasbourg or its surroundings.


4th Day Strasbourg – Freiburg – Basel – Istanbul

After breakfast, check-out and depart for Freiburg. Freiburg, the fourth largest city in Germany, is located near the Black Forest and enchants its visitors with its natural beauty and medieval history. During our city tour, we will visit the city's symbol and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, Münster Cathedral, Markthalle (Covered Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau. After the tour, we will move to Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, contains both modern and historical textures, boasting many treasures despite its small area. During our city tour, we will see Basel Cathedral, which is the burial place of the famous Renaissance writer Dutch Erasmus, the main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After the tour, we will proceed to Basel Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 18:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926. Arrival at 23:05 local time and conclusion of our tour.
