Day 1 Istanbul – Stuttgart – Strasbourg – Eguisheim – Colmar – Kaysersberg – Riquewihr – Strasbourg Meet at Istanbul Airport at the Turkish Airlines check-in counters in the international departures terminal 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Stuttgart at 07:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1701. Upon arrival in Stuttgart at 09:50 local time, we will meet our vehicle and depart for Strasbourg. While touring Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling back in time through Europe’s largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its nature and historical structures straight out of a fairy tale, timber-framed houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and many works of art, it is truly worth seeing. Strasbourg is also of historical importance as the place where the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” was written, and it appears as a city where Alsace culture and French architecture blend together. During our city tour, we will see Strasbourg Cathedral, the Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France district adorned with traditional Alsace houses. After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Fairytale Villages of Magnificent Alsace tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr). (€100) Our tour, where we will want to take photos at every opportunity, begins with Eguisheim. Awarded the title of “Favorite French Village” in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. Its colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create Eguisheim’s postcard-like appearance. After the tour, we continue to Colmar, famous for its medieval buildings, Gothic-style churches, and colorful houses. As we stroll through Colmar’s well-preserved streets, we will see St. Martin’s Cathedral, built entirely of pink stone, Little Venice with its small canals reminiscent of Venice in Italy, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar’s oldest houses, and Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance building decorated with many faces. Our third stop on the tour is Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a medieval town in France and a fascinating part of the Alsace region. It is famous for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical atmosphere. In particular, the 13th-century Château de Kaysersberg castle is one of the town’s most distinctive landmarks. Sainte-Croix Church in the town center also stands out with its Gothic architecture. After the tour, we proceed to our final stop, Riquewihr, one of Alsace’s most enchanting towns, made charming by the many half-timbered houses in the city. This historic village captivates visitors with its old houses adorned with colorful flowers, narrow streets, and its walled medieval atmosphere. On our tour, we will also see the ruins of Riquewihr Castle and walk along the village’s old ramparts to experience the medieval ambiance. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Strasbourg. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area. Day 2 Strasbourg – Heidelberg – Baden Baden – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Germany Duo tour (Baden Baden & Heidelberg). (€85) Our first stop is Baden Baden, a nature-filled oxygen paradise, a cultural and arts center, a spa town, and even home to one of Europe’s most famous casinos. After exploring Baden Baden, a unique travel destination that inspired many famous writers and composers, we head to another magnificent German city, Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city make you feel the Middle Ages in every corner and take you on a journey through time. Elegant and refined, Heidelberg welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour, we will see Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area. Day 3 Strasbourg – Schaffhausen Rhine Falls – Zurich – Lucerne – Strasbourg After breakfast at the hotel, free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities tour (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne). (€110) Our first stop is the natural wonder Rhine Falls, which, with its 150-meter width and 23-meter height, holds the title of Europe’s largest waterfall. Embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, this place is a paradise where you will find peace while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After our enchanting walk, accompanied by the power of the water and its impressive scenery, our second stop is Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, which attracts millions of visitors every year with its historic center, eye-catching Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peter’s Church, which has Europe’s largest clock face, we tour Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping district. After the tour, we head to Lucerne, a historic city in central Switzerland at the foot of the Alps. In this enchanting city, after seeing the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who were martyred while protecting King Louis XVI and his family, the Chapel Bridge, and the magnificent view of Lake Lucerne, we end our tour and transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area. Day 4 Strasbourg – Stuttgart – Istanbul After breakfast at the hotel, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Located in southwestern Germany among lush green hills, Stuttgart stands out not only for its industrial prominence but also for its elegant parks, vineyards, and cultural character. On our city tour, we will see Schlossplatz (Palace Square), the largest square in Stuttgart, Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Castle), and Johanneskirche (St. John’s Church). After the tour, we depart for the airport at the time specified by our guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Istanbul at 18:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1706. Arrival in Istanbul at 22:35 local time, and the end of the tour.
