1st Day Istanbul - Barcelona Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the international departure terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Barcelona at 07:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. We arrive at 10:35 local time, and our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region, renowned worldwide. This magnificent city, bathed in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors each year. The city is like an open-air museum decorated with the unique works of Antoni Gaudi. During our city tour of this beautiful city, we will visit places such as the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Andalusia Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy some free time. Overnight at the hotel. 2nd Day Barcelona - Girona & Figueras (Dali Museum) - Barcelona After breakfast at the hotel, guests can join the optional tour "The Magnificent Jewels of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum)" for an extra fee (70 Euro). Our first stop on the tour is Girona, a historic city located about 100 kilometers northeast of Barcelona, famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, we will see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After our tour, we head towards the city of Figueras, known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established a museum here to leave something behind and showcase his works. This museum has the largest collection of Dali's works and is considered his greatest masterpiece as Dali designed all of it. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created with different techniques by Dali. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. Guests can also join the optional tour "Gaudi's Magnificent Work (Park Guell) & Gothic Quarter" for an extra fee (50 Euro). Our first stop is Park Guell, one of Antoni Gaudi's magnificent creations that is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This fairytale-like park creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and whimsical houses. After seeing this magnificent work, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. Here, you can feel the fascinating atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its narrow and labyrinthine streets from the medieval period, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Important structures in the neighborhood include Barcelona Cathedral, Royal Square (Plaça Real), King's Square (Plaça del Rei), and La Rambla. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 3rd Day Barcelona - Valencia After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Valencia. Valencia is a historic and modern city located on the eastern coast of Spain, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. As the third largest city in Spain, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. Upon arrival, we will take a city tour, visiting the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Arts and Sciences Museum, Historical Market Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel, check into our rooms, and enjoy some free time. Overnight at the hotel. 4th Day Valencia - Granada After breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Granada. Granada is a city filled with history and culture at the heart of the Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical heritage, music, and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations, welcoming millions of visitors each year. During our city tour, we will see Gran Via Street, Bib Rambla and City Hall Squares, Granada Cathedral (from the outside), the Madraza (Granada's first university), Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After the tour, guests can optionally join the "Magnificent Alhambra Palace Tour" for an extra fee (70 Euro). The Alhambra Palace, one of Granada's greatest treasures, is one of the most stunning and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. It is one of the most visited historical sites in Spain and is recognized worldwide, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This famous structure began construction in the 13th century on Sabika Hill, serving as a fortress and palace, and continued until the 15th century. It received its red color from the red clay used in its construction, which is why it is called Alhambra, meaning 'Red'. Guests may optionally join the "Magnificent Neighborhoods (Albaicin and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter)" tour for an extra fee (45 Euro). Albaicin is a historical and enchanting neighborhood of Granada. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It reflects Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and tells the story of Granada's past. After our tour here, we will enjoy a drink while watching a Gypsy show and learning about their way of life in the completely handmade caves. After the tour, we return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 5th Day Granada - Sevilla - Cordoba - Sevilla After an early breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Sevilla. Our next stop is Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia, famous for its historical and cultural wealth. Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, during our city tour in Seville, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park, which features Plaza de Espana, Plaza America, and the Seville Cathedral (from the outside), one of the largest cathedrals in the world which also houses Christopher Columbus's tomb. Next, we will see the Giralda Bell Tower, which is the only surviving part of the mosque that was demolished to build the cathedral, and the Alcazar (from the outside). Afterward, we will pass through the Archives of the Indies, which recorded the shipping records of all sea expeditions to America up until the 19th century and reach the narrow old streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Seville. After our walk, we will see Torre del Oro, the old tobacco factory currently serving as a maritime museum, which is used as the central campus of Seville University. Guests can optionally join the "Magnificent Cordoba Tour" for an additional fee (55 Euro). Cordoba is a historic city in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural riches, impressive architecture, and structures reflecting Andalusian Islamic culture. Cordoba is one of Spain's oldest and most beautiful cities. After a 1.5-hour journey, we will be welcomed by the Guadalquivir River. Walking across the historical Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate, we will enter the city. The most striking building in this 2000-year-old city is the Great Mosque of Córdoba, which rises on 850 columns. During our guided tour, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent structure while receiving fascinating insights. After touring the Mosque-Cathedral, we continue walking through the clean ancient streets showcasing the intricacies of Andalusian architecture, the old inn, and the houses of Cordoba. After our visit, we transfer back to our hotel in Seville. In the evening, guests are invited to optionally join the "Magnificent Flamenco Fire Tour" (55 Euro). Seville is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of Spain's important centers for flamenco culture. The city is known for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. You will be mesmerized watching the flamenco dancers during our Flamenco night. After the tour, we transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 6th Day Sevilla - Madrid After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Madrid. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is one of the most visited cities in Spain, known for its rich historical and cultural heritage. During our city tour, we will visit the Bullfighting Arena (from the outside), Alcala Gate, Independence Square, Sibeles Monument, the famous Grand Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (from the outside), Plaza de Espana featuring the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, Royal Palace (from the outside), the 9-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 7th Day Madrid - Toledo & Segovia - Las Rozas - Madrid After breakfast at the hotel, guests can optionally join the "Magnificent Toledo Tour (65 Euro)" and "Magnificent Segovia & Las Rozas Outlet Tour (60 Euro)". These tours will be conducted in the order deemed appropriate by our guide. Located about 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a historical city that has hosted different cultures on the Iberian Peninsula, including Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian civilizations, and is protected by UNESCO. Known for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage, we will see the oldest cathedral in Spain, the Toledo Cathedral (from the outside), converted churches from Andalusian mosques, and many other wonders during our city tour in this open-air museum. After the tour, our second stop will be Segovia. Located on the banks of the Tagus River, Segovia is known for its impressive medieval architecture and rich cultural heritage. During our city tour, we will see the 15 km long and 28-meter high Segovia Aqueduct, Segovia Cathedral, the towers that inspired the Disneyland logo, and Alcazar Castle (from the outside) along with old streets and Jewish neighborhoods. Then, we will head to Las Rozas, where we can find discounted products from leading fashion brands in Spain and the world. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight at the hotel. 8th Day Madrid - Istanbul After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the airport at the time determined by the guide. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, Turkish Airlines flight TK 1358 departs for Istanbul at 14:30. We arrive at 19:55 local time, marking the end of our tour.
