1.Day Istanbul – Barcelona
Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal, in front of the Turkish Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure for Barcelona at 08:50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1853. Upon arrival at 10:30 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Barcelona is a world-renowned city as Spain’s second-largest city and the vibrant, fascinating capital of the Catalonia region. Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its splendid architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum decorated with the unique works of Antoni Gaudí. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be seen include La Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuic Hill, La Rambla Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Bullring, and the Olympic Port. 2.Day Barcelona – Girona & Figueres (Dali Museum) – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Jewels of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum). (70 Euro) Our first stop is Girona. Girona, a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, is famous for its medieval narrow streets, historic buildings, museums, churches, and city walls. During our tour here, the Lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí founded this museum here to leave something at his birthplace and exhibit his works. Today, this museum has the largest Dalí collection, and since Dalí designed every part of it, it is considered Dalí’s greatest masterpiece. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dalí using different techniques. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. In the evening, our guests who wish may join the extra tour of the Splendid Flamenco Fire. (55 Euro) Flamenco is considered an expression of emotion and passion and is an important part of Spain’s cultural heritage. 3.Day Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the extra tour of Gaudí’s Splendid Masterpiece Park Güell & Gothic Quarter. (60 Euro) Our first stop is Park Güell. One of Antoni Gaudí’s magnificent works, Park Güell is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known as the fairy-tale park, this park creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and dreamlike pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudí, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the fascinating atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historic fabric with its narrow, labyrinth-like streets from the Middle Ages, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the neighborhood are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the extra tour to Splendid Sitges. (40 Euro) Sitges is a charming seaside town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. It is famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, as well as its art and cultural events, and hosts many art galleries, museums, and festivals. We will begin our visit with the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and lose ourselves in its historic streets. Dating back to the 17th century, this cathedral rises on the remains of older Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey will take us through the historic streets of Sitges, where, in the middle of the old town, the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the finest examples of Modernism, is a true paradise for collection enthusiasts. Right across from it is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in Catalonia. After seeing the colorful houses and charming bars in the narrow streets where the annual Sitges Festival, known for horror and fantasy film categories, is held and which attract thousands of people every year, we will proceed to the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying the day like the locals. 4.Day Barcelona – Istanbul
