Day 1 | Istanbul – Berlin | Sunday

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter at 07:00 at the international departure terminal of Istanbul Airport. After completing our ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will fly to Berlin at 10:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1729. We will land at Berlin Brandenburg Airport at 11:50 local time. After passport and luggage procedures, we will depart by coach to start a panoramic Berlin city tour. During our city tour, we will see Checkpoint Charlie, the most important crossing point that divided Berlin into East and West during the Cold War, the East Side Gallery, which features 101 wall paintings by artists from all over the world on a 1316-meter section of the Berlin Wall depicting peace, freedom of expression, hope, humanity, and anti-war sentiments, Rotes Rathaus (Berlin Town Hall), the Brandenburg Gate, and Fernsehturm (TV Tower) located at Alexanderplatz. After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Guests who wish may join an optional Potsdam tour organized by our guide. Overnight stay in our hotel in Berlin.

Located 35 km from Berlin, Potsdam, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is home to the Sanssouci Palace, built in the 18th century by Prussian King Frederick II as a summer palace, historical windmill of Sanssouci, the Russian colony Alexandrowka built between 1826-1827 by Prussian King Frederick William III located north of Potsdam city center, St. Nicholas Church, a Lutheran church associated with the Evangelical Church located in the historic square (Alter Markt), the French Church built in 1752/53 for the French Reform community, which is the oldest church that survived in the historic town center during World War II, and the St. Peter und Paul Church completed in 1870, which served both the Potsdam community and Catholic soldiers stationed in the city, among the places we will see. After the tour, we will return to our hotel.

 

Day 2 | Berlin – Wroclaw | Monday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head towards Wroclaw, one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, the 2016 European Capital of Culture. This city located on the banks of the Oder River will enchant us with its picturesque views. During the panoramic Wroclaw city tour, we will see over 200 dwarf statues located at different points of the city, the unique Rynek Square, magnificent bridges, historic houses that witness the passage of time, the colorful Plac Solny and Flower Market, St. Elizabeth Church located in the Old Town area, sculpture and painting galleries, souvenir shops, stores, and bronz street statues in Stare Jatki, and Ostrow Tumski (Cathedral Island), the oldest part of the city. After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Overnight stay in our hotel in Wroclaw.

 

Day 3 | Wroclaw – Krakow | Tuesday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head towards Krakow. Upon arrival, we will conduct a panoramic Krakow city tour where we will see the historical town square (Stare Miasto), listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This square, one of the largest in Europe, will immerse us in the Middle Ages of Europe. Later, sites to see on our tour include Wawel Castle, Wawel Cathedral where Pope John Paul II gave his first sermon as a priest, the market square, Cloth Hall Sukiennice, St. Mary's Basilica, Florianska Street, Barbakan, and Slowacki Theatre. After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Guests who wish may join the optional Auschwitz Nazi camp tour organized by our guide. Overnight stay in our hotel in Krakow.

During this tour, we will visit the world-famous Auschwitz Nazi Concentration Camp. We will explore the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi camp, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where approximately 1.5 million Jews were systematically tortured and murdered during World War II. After the tour, we will return to Krakow and to our hotel.

 

Day 4 | Krakow – Warsaw | Wednesday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and have free time until departure. Guests who wish may join the optional Wieliczka salt mine tour organized by our guide. At the time indicated by our guide, we will depart from our hotel to Warsaw. After arriving, we will start a panoramic Warsaw city tour, where we will see the Royal Palace, the statue of III. Zygmunt Waza, the Royal Square, the Bell Square, the monumental gate of the city, Barbakan, the Little Mermaid statue, and Madame Curie's house. After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Overnight stay in our hotel in Warsaw.

Located 15km from Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mine, which was used as a rock salt mine in the 13th century and has turned into an underground city with artistic works made of salt, is also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the tour, we will return to Krakow and to our hotel.

 

Day 5 | Warsaw – Vilnius | Thursday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head towards Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Upon arrival, we will begin a panoramic Vilnius city tour. Vilnius contains over 1200 medieval structures and 48 large churches. During the tour, we will see Cathedral Square, Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Gediminas Monument, St. Peter and St. Paul Church, St. Anne Church, Amber Gallery, and Subacius Hill. We will also have the opportunity to see the Dawn Gate, which is considered an important symbol of Vilnius. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Overnight stay in our hotel in Vilnius.

 

Day 6 | Vilnius – Riga | Friday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head towards Riga, the capital of Latvia. Upon arrival, we will begin a panoramic Riga city tour. Founded in 1201, we will see St. Peter's Church, the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, Dome Cathedral, the Great and Small Guildhalls, St. Jacob's Church, Riga Castle, the Freedom Monument, and streets adorned with Art Nouveau buildings during our tour. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Overnight stay in our hotel in Riga.

 

Day 7 | Riga – Tallinn | Saturday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head towards Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Upon arrival, we will start a panoramic Tallinn city tour. Recognized as one of the best-preserved medieval cities, during our tour, we will see historical structures that showcase the city’s characteristic features, including the Tall Hermann Tower, Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Dome Church, Toompea Hill, and St. Nicholas Church. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will perform our check-in procedures and settle into our rooms. Overnight stay in our hotel in Tallinn.

 

Day 8 | Tallinn – Istanbul | Sunday [B]

After having breakfast at our hotel, we will check out and head to Tallinn Airport at the time indicated by our guide. After completing our ticket, luggage, and passport procedures, we will fly to Istanbul at 19:35 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1424. We will land at Istanbul Airport at 23:15 local time, thus concluding our tour. We bid farewell until we meet again on our next select and enjoyable trip.
