1. Day ISTANBUL – ROME – VATICAN (St. Peter's)
We meet at Istanbul Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we depart on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to Rome. Upon arrival, we transfer to our private bus waiting for us at the airport. We head to St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, considered the center of Christianity. After arrival, we have free time for the basilica and square visit, and then depart for a city tour of Rome. During our tour, the places to be seen include Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned; Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public; the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II; the Colosseum, which hosted gladiator fights; the Trevi Fountain, made famous by the film La Dolce Vita; the Spanish Steps, consisting of 135 steps; and the Spanish Steps with the fountain of the sinking boat.
After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome. Overnight at the hotel.
2. Day ROME – CASTEL GONDOLFO & NEMI LAKE & ALBANO LAKE – OUTLET – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the Castel Gondolfo region. This area, known as Nemi Village, will welcome you with colorful houses adorned with flowers in the windows, stone streets, and charming shops where the famous local strawberries are sold and displayed. With magnificent lake views, you will feel as if you are in a fairytale. During our visit to Castel Gandolfo, located on the shores of Lake Albano, we continue our walk in this area where we will see the Pope’s summer residence. In this unique town, which was also used as a summer residence by many Roman emperors throughout history, we take a small journey into the past. Then we depart for an outlet visit so you can shop. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Rome and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
3. Day ROME – PIENZA – SAN GIMIGNANO – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Pienza, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and considered one of the finest examples of Renaissance urban planning. In this charming Tuscan town, rebuilt with the “ideal city” concept and the birthplace of Pope Pius II, we enjoy a pleasant walk with views of Pienza Cathedral, Palazzo Piccolomini, and Val d’Orcia. After free time in Pienza, famous for its Pecorino cheeses, we continue to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, where you will feel as if you have stepped back into the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as Cisterno Square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Florence. Overnight at the hotel.
4. Day FLORENCE – PORTOFINO – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Portofino, the favorite spot of high society and the subject of songs such as “I Found My Love in Portofino.” According to the Roman writer and philosopher Pliny, its name comes from the abundance of dolphins surrounding the entire gulf, originally beginning as Portus Delphini and evolving into its current form. This charming fishing village attracts attention with its narrow streets, slim colorful houses, and various fish dishes. After our boat tour in Portofino, we head to Pisa. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, considered one of the world’s most important historical monuments. During the panoramic evening tour under the lights, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral, the baptistery, and Miracles Square will be among the places visited, and our guests who wish may take photos freely in this historic city. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Florence and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
5. Day FLORENCE – VENICE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a Florence city tour. During the tour, in Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we first see from the outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, immediately recognizable by its orange dome and the 4th largest church in Europe. One of the cathedral’s most striking features is its bronze door, known as the baptistery door or the “Gate of Paradise,” where scenes representing the stories of the prophets told in the Old Testament, some of which are also mentioned in the Quran, are depicted. Later, we will see Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to call the public to parliament, Signoria Square, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and is home to Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Venice and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
6. Day VENICE – MILAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Venice city tour. During our tour in Venice, commentary will be given on the Vaporetto, and we will see major iconic landmarks such as St. Mark’s Square, built of stone and marble with columns brought from Istanbul; St. Mark’s Basilica; the Doge’s Palace, designed and used as a symbol of grandeur and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile Bell Tower. After the tour, we depart for Milan at the time announced by our guide. On the way, we stop for a photo break with a view of Lake Garda in Peschiera. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan. Overnight at the hotel.
7. Day MILAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our program with a city tour of Milan. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art. Although it is Italy’s business and finance capital, it is also the right destination for shopping, nightlife, and dining experiences. In Milan, known for the La Scala opera house, Duomo Square and Cathedral, La Galleria with many famous brands where you can enjoy shopping, and Porta Romano, we will have free time after the sights. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Milan and free time to rest. Overnight at the hotel.
8. Day MILAN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out of the rooms and transfer to Milan airport at the time announced by your guide. Flight to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled service. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services come to an end.
