DAY 05 LE HAVRE
Our ship will dock at Le Havre port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Those who wish may join the optional “Honfleur & Deauville Tour” organized by our guide. We head to Honfleur, in the heart of Calvados, an important region of Lower Normandy, which takes its name from the famous apple liqueur. Honfleur, a charming small harbor town whose extraordinary light once attracted painters such as Camille Corot, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet, Gustave Courbet, Raoul Dufy, Johan-Bartold Jongkind, Paul Signac, and Georges Seurat, will be explored on foot. In Honfleur, which is important artistically and historically, you can see the beautiful old houses along the quays where sailing boats are moored, the “Lieutenance” building, the 15th-century wooden Sainte Catherine Church built by ship carpenters, its separately built bell tower, and the old salt warehouses. After free time, we stop in Deauville, the pearl of Normandy. Gaining fame in the early 20th century when Coco Chanel opened a boutique here and becoming a meeting point for high society, this affluent French town and its famous casino may have lost some of their importance over time, but they have preserved their beauty and charm. Especially its beach, blue cabins, and wooden boardwalks help you imagine the past. After visiting Deauville, we return to Le Havre, which was completely destroyed during World War II and then rebuilt; due to its “post-war urban planning approach” and the “creative use of concrete,” it was inscribed on the World Heritage List. After the tour, return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

The flights specified in the program have been obtained from the relevant airline and the relevant cruise company. Our agency is not responsible for any changes that may occur in flight times. For this reason, our agency reserves the right to make changes to the program due to any schedule change.

If deemed necessary, the operating agency reserves the right to change the flight route. For example, it may change a flight route announced as Nice/Lyon to Marseille for a ship departing from Marseille, or vice versa.

The documents required for visa applications are obtained within 96 hours. You must request your visa confirmation letters from your agency at least 4 days before your application.

Passengers are responsible for their own belongings during round-trip transfers between the airport and port, and between the airport-port. No agency representative, guide, or driver is authorized to take custody of luggage and cannot be held responsible for it.

Two of the dinner meals during the cruise are formal gala dinners, and every male passenger who wishes to dine there must have at least one suit, and female passengers must have at least one evening dress.

THE CRUISE COMPANY AND THE CAPTAIN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE ROUTE AND THE TIMES AT PORTS BEFORE OR DURING THE TOUR.

The contents specified in the program itinerary are for sample purposes. The operating agency reserves the right to change the tour contents.

During the cruise, the restaurant and tables where our group will have dinner are usually predetermined by the cruise company and numbered according to names; on some cruise lines, they will be in open seating format. On ships with assigned tables, from the first dinner to the last dinner, everyone will sit at the preassigned tables, and guests who wish may also have their meals in other restaurants on the ship, depending on arrangement by the ship’s authorized staff.

At check-in on the ship, every passenger without exception (only one person in couples) must present a credit card to the ship’s reception when receiving cabin keys, or make a cash deposit. As a result of this submission, an average authorization of 300 euros will be charged to each credit card. The reason is for the expenses you will make on the ship after check-in during the voyage. Your onboard purchases (for drinks, soft drinks, or alcoholic beverages) can be made using the magnetic cards provided by the ship’s reception. Cash is not accepted anywhere on the ship except the casino. You can view all your expenses on the televisions in your cabins.

At the beginning of our cruise journey, luggage tags in specific colors for all our group’s suitcases will be sent to you together with your cruise ticket. You must attach these tags to your suitcases at the cruise port.

Your luggage may not arrive in your cabins until late evening on the first day of the cruise. This is due to congestion and crowding and is a situation that is definitely the responsibility of the ship. Therefore, it is advisable to keep your essential items in a small hand bag with you on the first day you board the ship.

It is mandatory to strictly adhere to the ship’s departure times. At the ports, you must board the ship no later than 60 minutes before departure. Otherwise, you may not be able to board. Our agency will not be responsible for such a situation.

At the end of the cruise, you must collect your luggage, attach the tags that will have been left in your cabins one night earlier, and leave them in front of your cabin doors by 00:00. After the disembarkation process, our group will collect their luggage from the designated luggage station. WE KINDLY REQUEST EACH GUEST TO TAKE THEIR OWN SUITCASE BY TOUCHING AND CHECKING IT.

Travel outside the country is not permitted with passports that are over 10 years old, even if they are still valid.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the tour end date.

Your passport must not be torn or worn.

For each program, the relevant visa procedures are the responsibility of the selling agency and the passenger. You can find out which visa is required for the relevant tour from the tour program.

ALL GUESTS MUST HAVE THEIR ROUND-TRIP AIR TICKETS AND CRUISE TICKETS WITH THEM.

We recommend that our guests enable international use on their mobile phones.

On ships, depending on the region sailed, Euro or USD currencies are generally used. On the first day of the ship, you can deposit cash or use a credit card at the onboard machines to add a deposit to your cabin account.

For all programs, the minimum participation is 20 people (10 cabins). If sufficient numbers are not reached, the operating agency reserves the right to cancel the tour one month in advance. An alternative program may be offered to the guest.

Cancellation conditions are stated separately in the content of each respective program.

Passengers who use physical violence or insult ship staff during the tour will be removed from the ship by the captain
