Day 1: Istanbul – London We will meet at Istanbul Airport’s international departures terminal three hours before the flight to complete our ticketing and baggage procedures. After our scheduled Turkish Airlines flight to London and arrival at Stansted Airport, we board our private coaches and begin our tour. London is a rich and dynamic city filled with history, culture, and diverse lifestyles. First, we cross the River Thames and arrive at the historic Tower of London. This magnificent castle has played an important role in London’s defense for more than 900 years. Then we visit Tower Bridge, one of London’s most iconic bridges. This engineering marvel offers unique views. Leaving here, we head to St. Paul’s Cathedral, whose magnificent dome can be seen from all over the city. Rising in the center of London, this splendid structure was built in the 17th century by Sir Christopher Wren and remains an important religious and cultural center today. Day 2: London After breakfast, we continue our London tour. We begin in the heart of London with Westminster Abbey. This magnificent building is a historic church that has hosted the coronation ceremonies of English kings since 1066. After seeing Westminster Abbey from the outside, the Parliament building right next to it will be viewed. Big Ben, officially known as Elizabeth Tower and part of the Parliament building, is one of London’s most iconic symbols. Our next stop is Buckingham Palace. The royal family’s official residence in London, this palace attracts thousands of visitors every day. With a short walk from Buckingham Palace, we reach Trafalgar Square. At the center of the square stands Nelson’s Column, symbolizing Britain’s victory in the Napoleonic Wars. After Trafalgar Square, we continue our walk along the River Thames. London Eye, located on the riverbank, is a giant Ferris wheel offering panoramic views of London. Standing 135 meters tall, the London Eye is one of the city’s most important landmarks. After the London Eye view, we head to London’s Chinatown district. It is one of the city’s most colorful and lively areas. Chinatown is known for its traditional Chinese-style gates, red lanterns, and decorations. These adornments give the area a unique atmosphere. Close to Chinatown, we head to Piccadilly Circus. Piccadilly Circus is famous for its giant electronic billboards. In the center of the square is the statue commonly known as the Eros Statue, officially called the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain. We then proceed to Oxford Street, London’s most famous shopping street and one of the city’s beating hearts. This street, visited by thousands of people every day, is constantly lively and offers stores of all luxury brands. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and street food stalls around the street. Close to Oxford Street, we move on to Soho, one of London’s most cosmopolitan and energetic districts, where people of various ethnic backgrounds live and work. As you step into Soho, narrow streets, historic buildings, and cobblestone roads welcome you. The area has been used as a residential district since the 17th century and has long been a meeting point for different cultures. Today, Soho is known as one of London’s liveliest nightlife areas. We then head to Hyde Park, one of London’s largest and most famous parks, located right in the center of the city and like a green oasis where Londoners can breathe. Covering 350 hectares, this vast area has witnessed many important events throughout history and has become a popular meeting point for both locals and visitors. After our Hyde Park visit, there will be free time, and guests who wish may use this time for shopping or visiting the British Museum. The British Museum is among the museums in London with free admission. Visitors can enter the museum free of charge and discover some of the world’s most important works of art and historical collections. Since entry is allowed according to the crowd inside the museum, it is recommended to make a reservation on the museum’s website in advance; entry with backpacks is not permitted. You will have the opportunity to see historic London from a different perspective with a boat tour on the River Thames. We return to our hotel at the location and time determined by our guide, and then free time to rest. Day 3: London – Oxford – Bath – Stonehenge – Birmingham After breakfast, we depart for Oxford. Oxford is known as one of England’s oldest and most prestigious university cities, and also stands out for its rich history, captivating architecture, and vibrant cultural atmosphere. Located about 90 kilometers west of London, this city offers a calm atmosphere along with strong intellectual energy. Oxford’s city center is full of old stone buildings, narrow streets, and peaceful squares. High Street, Cornmarket Street, and Broad Street are full of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Here you can find both modern and traditional English style together. After touring the garden sections of Oxford University, we head toward Stonehenge. Stonehenge was built approximately 5,000 years ago and is a structure from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. It shows a major turning point in human history and the development of settled societies. Stonehenge offers clues about the engineering abilities, social structures, and belief systems of the people of that era. Stonehenge is not only an impressive ancient monument, but also of great importance in terms of history, archaeology, astronomy, and culture. After our visit, we head to Bath. Bath is an important place that directly influenced a certain period of writer Jane Austen’s life and works. Bath is a city in southwest England famous for its Roman baths, magnificent Georgian architecture, and picturesque scenery. Bath Abbey is an impressive Gothic cathedral in the city center. Located on the Avon River, Pulteney Bridge was built in the 18th century and is one of the few bridges in the world with shops on top. Its architecture and view are quite impressive. Royal Crescent is one of Bath’s most iconic structures. This crescent-shaped structure, consisting of 30 Georgian-style houses, is one of the finest examples of 18th-century architecture. After our Bath tour, we head to Birmingham. Following hotel check-in, free time to rest. Day 4: Birmingham – Manchester – Liverpool After breakfast, we depart for Manchester. Manchester is a dynamic city that combines history and modernity. Manchester Cathedral, built in 15th-century Gothic architecture, The Chetham’s Library with its unique interior, the ornate exterior of Manchester Town Hall, and Albert Square are among the places to be seen. After our tour, we head to Liverpool. Liverpool is a lively and energetic city in northwest England. It stands out not only for its history but also for its music, football, and unique character. The Beatles members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr were born and raised in Liverpool. The city played a major role in their musical development and in shaping them as a group. Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool Waterfront (Albert Dock), St. George’s Hall, and The Beatles Story (Exterior) are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to our hotel, and following check-in, free time to rest. Day 5: Liverpool – York – Durham – Newcastle Upon Tyne After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and depart for York. York, which bears traces of many civilizations from the Roman Empire to the Vikings, is known as one of England’s best-preserved medieval cities. Surrounded by walls, this city is famous for its medieval architecture. You can see these walls while touring the city. The first thing we will see in the city is York Minster, one of England’s largest cathedrals, which we will view from the outside. The Shambles and St Helen Square are among the places we will see in York’s oldest streets. After our tour, we head to Durham. When you first arrive in Durham, the peaceful and historic atmosphere of this riverbank city immediately impresses you. The city has been shaped around the bends of the River Wear. As you walk toward the city center, you see calm river views on one side and towering historical structures on the other. Durham Cathedral is located in the very heart of the city and is one of its most important historical buildings. Durham Cathedral was used in the filming of some Harry Potter movies. In particular, some scenes in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) used parts of the cathedral as Hogwarts interiors. After touring Durham city center, we head to Newcastle Upon Tyne. The city is famous for its beautiful bridges along the Tyne River. In particular, structures such as Tyne Bridge and Gateshead Millennium Bridge have become symbols defining Newcastle’s skyline. Riverside walking paths and cafes offer a peaceful side of the city. The Gateshead Millennium Bridge connects Newcastle and Gateshead and has a unique design. The bridge is used as a pedestrian and bicycle path and is also famous for its opening and closing mechanism. Crossing the Tyne River and walking around the bridge is completely free. In the evening, the bridge becomes quite impressive with its lighting. After our tour, we head to our hotel and have free time to rest. Day 6: Newcastle Upon Tyne – Edinburgh – Glasgow After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and depart for Edinburgh. After approximately a 3-hour journey, we begin exploring Edinburgh. As we walk along Royal Mile, the city’s busiest and most distinguished street, you will journey deep into history among medieval buildings and narrow streets. There are many boutiques, souvenir shops, traditional Scottish restaurants, and cafes along the street. St Giles’ Cathedral is located in the middle of Royal Mile and is an important part of the city’s cultural heritage. Construction of this cathedral began in the 12th century, and it is especially notable for its Gothic architecture and known as the center of the Scottish Reformation. Edinburgh Castle, located on the street, is one of Edinburgh’s most iconic structures and rises on an ancient volcanic hill called Castle Rock. Its historical origins date back to the 12th century. This castle is one of the most important symbols of Scotland’s royal past and military history. After visiting Edinburgh Castle, we meet at the time determined by the guide and then set off for Glasgow. Glasgow is one of Scotland’s largest and most dynamic cities. George Square, in the heart of the city, represents the center of Glasgow and is surrounded by impressive buildings. Here you can begin exploring the city by standing in the square filled with historical structures, monuments, and statues. Around the square, you can see historic buildings such as the Glasgow City Chambers and the Theatre Royal, among Glasgow’s iconic structures. After some free time in the city, we meet at the time determined by the guide, then head to our hotel and have free time to rest. Day 7: Glasgow – Belfast – Dublin After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and head early in the morning to Belfast. After our ferry journey, we arrive in Belfast. Upon arrival, Belfast City Hall, one of the city’s symbols and located in the city center, is among the first places to see in Belfast. This building, impressive with its magnificent architecture, is designed in Renaissance Revival and Baroque style. The structure has two floors, a large dome, and its exterior is clad in white granite. We will also have the opportunity to see St. Anne’s Cathedral, one of the city’s most important religious buildings. After concluding our Belfast visit, we travel to Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Following approximately a 2.5-hour journey, we arrive in Dublin and begin exploring the city. Dublin Castle, built in the 13th century, St. Patrick’s Cathedral dedicated to the city’s patron saint Saint Patrick, and Christ Church Cathedral, one of the city’s oldest buildings with impressive Gothic architecture, are among Dublin’s most important landmarks. After some free time in the city, we meet at the time determined by the guide, then head to our hotel and have free time to rest. Day 8: Dublin – Istanbul After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and move to Dublin city center. During the time we will spend in the city until airport time, you may spend time on Grafton Street, Dublin’s most famous shopping street, shop, or spend time in boutique cafes. After free time, transfer to Dublin Airport at the time announced by the guide. Flight to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines scheduled service.
