Day 1: Istanbul - Edirne

Following the TEM highway towards Çorlu-Edirne, we reach the Ipsala Border Gate. After passport and customs procedures, we enter Greece and continue our journey to Thessaloniki.

Day 2 Thessaloniki

Upon arrival in Thessaloniki in the morning, we take a panoramic city tour; the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Fair Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, the Cathedral of Saint Demetrius, the largest cathedral in Greece, the Statue of Alexander the Great, Hamza Bey Mosque, the statues of E. Venizelos and P. Konstantin, and Vardar, Makedonia, Aristotle, and Eleftherios squares are among the places to be seen. At the end of the tour, we visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk and check into our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the extra Greek Taverna Entertainment program organized by our guide. Unlimited entertainment accompanied by delicious food, Greek music, and bouzouki. Day 3 Thessaloniki – Kalambaka – Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart from Thessaloniki and set off towards Athens. Along the route, there is an opportunity to join the extra Kalambaka (Meteora) tour organized by our guide. (45 EUR) (The tour can be operated if the entire group participates.) We travel to Kalambaka, known as the Cappadocia of Greece, home to the Monasteries Region, located 200 meters above the ground and still actively serving their purposes today. Here, we witness the lives of the monks in the monasteries they carved into the rocks many years ago and explore the monasteries in detail. After free time in Kalambaka city center, we continue our journey to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, we check into our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Athens. Guests who wish may join the extra Seafood Delights Under the Lights tour at the Port of Athens organized by our guide. (40 EUR)

Day 4 Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a city tour of Athens. During this tour, Agora, the Temple of Zeus, the Parliament Building, Syntagma and Omonia Squares, the Presidential Palace, the Prime Minister’s Residence, the Historic Olympic Stadium, the National Gallery, the War Museum, Panepistimiou Avenue, the National Library, and the Academy are among the places to be seen panoramically. Following our panoramic tour, we visit the Acropolis, one of the most famous historical sites in the world (40 Euros is paid to our guide for admission and local guide services). After visiting the Acropolis, guests who wish may join our extra Corinth Canal tour organized by our guide. (40 EUR) During this tour, we cross over the Corinth Canal, one of the most famous canals in the world, and travel to the point where the canal meets the sea to watch the ships pass through. Following our tour, we transfer to the hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the extra Greek Taverna organized by our guide, offering unlimited entertainment accompanied by delicious food, Greek music, and bouzouki. (60 EUR)

Day 5 Athens-Kavala-Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and meet our vehicle. We arrive in Kavala after an approximately 8-hour journey via Lamia and Trikala and take a panoramic city tour. After seeing the aqueducts, harbor, castle, 19th-century Neoclassical buildings, Panagia, the Old and New Towns, Acropolis, lighthouse, Ag. Nicholas and Theodoro Kimissi churches, and the almshouse and statue of Mehmet Ali Pasha of Kavala, we have free time for lunch. After meeting, we travel to the Ipsala Border Gate, passing panoramically through the Western Thrace cities of Xanthi, Komotini, and Alexandroupoli. Guests who wish may join the Porto Lagos tour organized as an extra by our guide. (10 EUR / The tour can be operated if the entire group participates.) Following passport and customs procedures, we travel to Istanbul via Keşan, Tekirdağ, and Silivri. After a free time meatball break in Tekirdağ, the program ends with our arrival at the starting points in Istanbul in the evening.
