ISTANBUL – BASEL – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
We depart from Istanbul Airport, International Terminal. Please arrive 3 hours prior to your flight to complete baggage check-in, ticketing and passport control processes. We fly to Basel at 07:40 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1923. After arriving at Basel Airport at 09:45 local time, we head to Strasbourg in our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Strasbourg, the largest city in the Alsace region, located at the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, will greet us like a fairy tale, looking like a beautiful painting. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 and home to the European Parliament since 1992, during our panoramic city tour in the city center and its traffic-free streets, we will see places such as Gutenberg Square and Monument, the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is the most important structure in the heart of the city, and the Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city, which continues to operate as a hotel and restaurant. After the tour of Strasbourg, we will have some free time before heading towards Freiburg, one of the key examples of green urbanism. Since 2010, only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed in Freiburg, a city filled with happy people, where transportation is predominantly provided by tram and bicycle. During our city tour in Freiburg, known as the capital of the Black Forest, we will see the Freiburg Cathedral, lovely streets with unique water channels exclusive to Freiburg, the Martin's Tor gate from the Middle Ages, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. We will have free time to check into our rooms and rest.
ALSACE – HEIDI'S VILLAGES – (Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will start our panoramic journey with views of Heidi's Villages, which leave a smile in all our childhood memories, full of vast mountains and green meadows where our beloved character Heidi lives with her grandfather and friend Peter in the Alps. After this journey, we will head to Milan. Along the way, guests who wish can participate in the optional Milan Masterpieces and Como Tour (65 Euro). Our first stop will be Como. Upon arrival in Como, we will visit Lake Como, known for hosting European millionaires and Hollywood celebrities with its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, and take a photo break against the lake's stunning views. After some free time in Como, we will move to the city center of Milan. Known as one of the fashion capitals of Europe, Milan stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. While recognized as Italy's business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for shopping and culinary experiences. During our city tour, we will see the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano among the main sights. After the Milan Masterpieces Tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will have free time to check into our rooms and rest.
MILAN – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – MILAN
After breakfast, we will head to St. Moritz for an unforgettable train journey on the Bernina railway line that will adorn our dreams. Upon arriving at St. Moritz, a natural wonder and a hot spot for jet-setters in Switzerland, we will have some free time depending on the train schedule and a brief local tour before reaching the station for the Bernina Express/Red Train. The worldwide famous Bernina railway, constructed between 1898 and 1904, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and during this fairytale journey, we will enjoy extraordinary views and have the chance to take photos. After approximately 2 hours of delightful train journey, we will arrive at Tirano Station and return to our hotel in the Milan region.
MILAN – OUTLET – (Boat Tour to Portofino) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to visit the outlet center. In the famous outlet center, which hosts prestigious shops, cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas that lead the fashion trend in Italy, we will have free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping. Following this, we will continue our journey to Nice. Guests who wish can join the optional Boat Tour to Portofino (65 Euro) along the way. Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and famous for inspiring songs, will captivate visitors with its narrow streets, colorful homes, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean Sea. After our visit to Portofino, we will proceed to Nice. After arriving at our hotel in the Nice area, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish can participate in the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). In this tour, we will first travel to Cannes, famous for hosting the Cannes Film Festival, known for its sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we will first see the old city, which is the first settlement of the town. We will have the chance to do some shopping in the souvenir shops while walking through the old town's narrow, winding, and traffic-free streets. After our visit to La Croissette Boulevard, where many luxurious restaurants, shops, and hotels are located, we will continue our journey to Nice. In our Nice tour, we will see the Promenade des Anglais avenue, Nice Port, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and the Palace of Justice among the sights. After the Nice tour, there will be free time; guests can also join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, our first stop will be Eze Village, one of the most beautiful villages on the Cote d’Azur, where we will visit a perfume factory where you can test and purchase beautiful and famous perfumes at reasonable prices. Our second stop will be Monaco, the world's second smallest state after Vatican City, a fairy tale kingdom situated along the French Riviera. We will have our panoramic city tour in Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we will return to our hotel in the Nice area.
NICE – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to Geneva. With magnificent natural scenery along the way, we will travel under the view of Mont Blanc, known as the roof of Europe, at the borders of France, Switzerland, and Italy. Guests who wish can join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro) program along the way. In Annecy, nicknamed "the Venice of the Alps" due to its canals and the Thiou River, we will visit panoramic sites such as Chateau d’Annecy, which was built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a point of attraction for photography lovers. After a brief free time along Lake Annecy, we will complete our tour and continue our journey to Geneva. After arriving at our hotel in the Geneva area, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
GENEVA – (GOLDEN PASS Express Train to Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy Tale Castles Tour) – (Gruyeres Tour) – BERN – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will organize a city tour. Known as the "French of Switzerland," Geneva is a stunning city where history, culture, science, and nature merge at the shores of Lake Geneva. With important international organizations (CERN, World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, United Nations) headquartered in Geneva, the city has been positioned centrally in terms of culture and administration. In Geneva, we will visit prime sights such as St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain rising to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument during our city tour. After the city tour, we will drive toward Bern. Along the way, guests who wish can participate in the optional GOLDENPASS Express train program to Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy Tale Castles Tour (95 Euro). Our first stop will be Lausanne, which has a significant place in our national history due to hosting the Lausanne Treaty signed on July 24, 1923. With its medieval castles, palaces, cathedrals, and museum buildings, Lausanne takes visitors deep into history, enhanced by its beauty as it sits by Lake Geneva. After exploring Lausanne, we will head to Montreux. Montreux, known for its historical castles, like Chillon, and its natural beauty, also holds significance in the music world as it features a statue of Freddy Mercury. After touring Montreux, we will embark on an unequaled journey towards the Swiss Alps with the GOLDENPASS Express. The train ride starting from Montreux will provide us with breathtaking lake views and mountain silhouettes. After this enchanting train journey, we will complete our trip near Gruyeres and continue towards Bern. Guests who wish can also join the optional Gruyeres Tour (40 Euro). Gruyères, chosen as the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2014 and the homeland of the world-famous Gruyere cheese, is a fairytale village that retains its medieval character to this day, with its flower-decorated houses and streets. Located 800 meters above sea level in the upper valley of Saane River, this village has no vehicle traffic and is known for both its famous cheese and the Swiss dish Fondue. After visiting Gruyeres, we will complete our trip and arrive in Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. The town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its historical fabric. Located within the Swiss borders, Bern has German as its official language, and this influence is also reflected in its architecture. After our city tour along the Aare River and around Bern, we will drive to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. Upon arrival at the hotel, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to Basel Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Along the way, guests who wish can participate in the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, we will first visit the fairy tale city of Colmar and see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the famous Petite Venise (Little Venice) with its colorful houses bordering the Rhine River. Surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will find many delicious foods to suit your taste and many souvenir shopping opportunities. Our next stop will be Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flowered balconies, unique shops, pedestrian cobblestone streets, buildings that survived World War II without damage, and charming cafes, as well as the Dolder Museum housing the city's history. After our visit to Riquewihr, we will proceed towards Basel Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, we will complete baggage check-in, check-in, and passport control processes, and then fly to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926 at 19:00. We arrive at Istanbul Airport at 23:05 local time, marking the end of our tour.
