ISTANBUL – BASEL – STRASBOURG – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – ALSACE / BASEL We meet at Istanbul Airport's International Terminal 3 hours before the flight. After completing luggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures, we fly to Basel with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight TK1923 at 07:40. We arrive at Basel Airport at 09:45 local time, and we head to Strasbourg with our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Strasbourg, located at the border of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and the largest city in the Alsace region, will greet us like a scene from a fairy tale, with its picturesque beauty. In 1988, Strasbourg was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List, and since 1992, it has hosted the European Parliament. During our panoramic city tour in the traffic-free center and streets of Strasbourg, we will see places such as Gutenberg Square and its Monument, the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is the most important structure in the heart of the city, and the Kammerzell house, the oldest house in the city, which still operates as a hotel and restaurant. After the Strasbourg tour, a free time will be provided before we proceed to our hotel in the Alsace region. On the way, guests who wish can join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, we will first head to the fairy tale city of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs Building, Pfister House, and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, including the famous area of Petite Venise (Little Venice). You will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious foods according to your palate and buy various souvenirs in this unique atmosphere surrounded by the Rhine River and canals. Our next visit will be Riquewihr, known for its vineyards, blooming balconies, unique shops, and paved streets that are inaccessible by car, as well as the Dolder Museum, which carries the city's story with documents, with a tower that seems to belong in a Grimm fairy tale. Following our visit in Riquewihr, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Alsace region. Upon arriving at the hotel, we will check in and have free time to relax. ALSACE – HEIDI'S VILLAGES – (Masterpieces of Milan and Como Tour) – MILAN After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will move towards Milan with a panoramic journey through Heidi’s Villages, filled with vast mountains and green meadows, reminiscent of our beloved character Heidi, who lived with her grandfather and her best friend Peter in the Alps. Guests who wish can join the optional Masterpieces of Milan and Como Tour (65 Euro). Our first stop will be Como. Upon our arrival, we will visit Lake Como, famous for its luxury living and natural beauty, which hosts holiday homes of Hollywood celebrities, European riches, and the world's jet set. We will take a photo stop with a breathtaking view of the lake. After free time in Como, we will head to Milan city center for the second part of our tour. Milan, one of the fashion capitals of Europe, is also noted for its cuisine, opera, and churches. While recognized as Italy's business and finance capital, it is also the right place for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour in Milan, we will see major attractions, including the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square, and the Cathedral. After completing the Masterpieces of Milan Tour, we will transfer to our hotel. We will check in and have free time for relaxation. MILAN – ST. MORITZ – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – MILAN After breakfast, we will head to St. Moritz for our unforgettable and enchanting train journey along the Bernina railway line. We will arrive in St. Moritz, the nature wonderland and a hotspot for the jet set. Depending on the train departure time, we will have some free time for a brief tour before boarding the Bernina Express / Red Train, which offers a mesmerizing journey that captures the dreams of many travelers. Built between 1898 and 1904, this globally recognized railway line is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, allowing us to enjoy extraordinary views during our fairytale journey. After approximately 2 hours of an enjoyable train ride, we will arrive at Tirano Station, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to our hotel in the Milan area. MILAN – OUTLET – (Boat Tour to Portofino) – NICE After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to the outlet center for shopping. After enjoying some free time in this famous outlet center, which features prestigious stores, cafes, and restaurants, we will complete our shopping tour and proceed to Nice. Guests who wish can also join the optional Boat Tour to Portofino (65 Euro). Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses and a source of inspiration for songs, will captivate visitors with its narrow streets, green hills, and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea. After our visit to Portofino, we will continue our journey to Nice. Upon arriving at our hotel in the Nice region, we will check in and have free time to relax. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). Our first visit is to Cannes, famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, with its sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour in Cannes, we will see the old town, which was the first settlement of the city. We will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop while walking through the narrow winding traffic-free streets of the old town. After our visits on La Croissette Boulevard along the Cannes coastline, filled with many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, we will proceed to Nice. In Nice, our tour will include Promenade des Anglais avenue, Nice Harbor, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Court Palace. After the Nice tour, we will have free time, after which guests can also join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). In this tour, our first stop will be Eze Village, known for its spectacular views from Cote d'Azur, where we will visit a perfume factory where you can test and purchase beautiful and famous perfumes at reasonable prices. After the perfume factory visit, we will move to Monaco, the world's second smallest state after the Vatican, and follow up with a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and opulence. Following the tour, we will return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – (Annecy Tour) – GENEVA After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to Geneva. During our journey, accompanied by magnificent natural views and the sight of Mont Blanc, the peak of the Alps, on the common border of France, Switzerland, and Italy, guests who wish can join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the "Venice of the Alps" due to its canals and Thiou River, Annecy is a stunning destination that impresses visitors with its unique location between the mountains and lake. During our exploration in Annecy, we will see the Chateau d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palace of the Isle, an attraction for photography enthusiasts. After a short free time along Lake Annecy, we will complete our tour and continue our journey to Geneva. After arriving at our hotel in the Geneva region, we will check in and have free time to relax. GENEVA – (GOLDEN PASS Express Train to Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy Tale Castles Tour) – (Gruyeres Tour) – BERN – ALSACE / BASEL After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will organize a city tour. Geneva, known as the "French of Switzerland," located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is an extraordinary city where history, culture, science, and nature converge. Because many international organizations' centers, such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations, are located in Geneva, it holds a central cultural and administrative significance. During our visit in Geneva, we will see significant sites such as St.Pierre Cathedral, the iconic Jet d’Eau fountain that rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Monument. After the city tour, we will head to Bern. On the way, guests who wish can join the optional GOLDENPASS Express Train Tour to Lausanne & Montreux and Fairy Tale Castles Tour (95 Euro). The first stop in our tour will be Lausanne, which holds immense significance in our national history due to its association with the Lausanne Treaty signed on July 24, 1923. Lausanne, with its medieval castles, palaces, cathedrals, and museum buildings, will take visitors deep into history while offering breathtaking views along Lake Geneva. After our tour in Lausanne, we will proceed to Montreux. Known for its historical castles and significant sites relevant to our national history, Montreux is also important in the music world as it hosts a statue of Freddy Mercury. After the visit in Montreux, we will embark on a unique journey through the Swiss Alps aboard the GOLDENPASS Express, starting from Montreux. Our train journey will provide us with stunning lake views and mountain silhouettes, culminating near Gruyeres. After our enchanting train journey, we will continue our trip to Bern. On the way, guests who wish can join the optional Gruyeres Tour (40 Euro). Gruyeres, which was selected as the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2014 and is the birthplace of globally famous Gruyere cheese, is a fairy-tale village that has preserved its medieval character. Located at an altitude of 800 meters in the Saane River's upper valley with no vehicular traffic, this village is renowned for its cheese and the famous Swiss dish Fondue. After our tour in Gruyeres, we will arrive in Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages, and its historical texture has earned it a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Located within the Swiss borders where German is the official language, the architecture in Bern reflects German cultural influences. After our city tour in Bern, we will move towards our hotel in the Alsace / Basel region. After arriving at the hotel, we will check in and have free time to relax. ALSACE / BASEL – ISTANBUL After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we will head to Basel Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, we will complete luggage check-in, check-in, and passport control procedures before departing with Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight TK1924 at 10:40 to Istanbul. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 15:50 TSİ, marking the end of our tour.
