ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – (Como Tour) – MILAN
We arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure to complete baggage drop-off, ticketing, and passport control procedures, and then fly to Milan on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211 at 08:50. After arriving at Milan Bergamo Airport at 10:40 local time, we head to Milan city center to organize our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although known as Italy’s business and finance capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano are among the main sights. After the Milan city tour, we head to our hotel in the Milan region. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como Tour (50 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, European elites, and the world jet set, and we take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. After free time at the end of the tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan region. After checking into our rooms, free time to rest.
MILAN – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Tirano for an unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Built between 1898 and 1904, this world-famous line, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is one that many travel enthusiasts dream of experiencing. During this fairy-tale journey, we will witness extraordinary landscapes and have the chance to photograph them. After an approximately 2-hour enjoyable train ride, we arrive in St. Moritz, the natural wonder of Switzerland and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short sightseeing tour, depending on the Bernina railway train departure time, we continue our panoramic journey through the sights of Heidi’s Villages, with its endless mountains and green meadows, reminiscent of many images from the beloved cartoon childhood memories of Heidi, who lived in the Alps with her grandfather and best friend Peter. Afterward, we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, where we check in and have free time to rest.
ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL
After breakfast, we depart for Strasbourg. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first go to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House, and the most famous area of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In this unique setting surrounded by the Rhine River and canals, you will find many delicious foods to suit your taste as well as many souvenir shopping opportunities. Our next stop in the Alsace region is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, unique rows of shops, cobblestone streets where cars are not allowed, cafes, and buildings that somehow survived World War II without damage. With its tower, which includes the Dolder Museum preserving the town’s history through documents, Riquewihr resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue our journey to Strasbourg. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, Strasbourg is the largest city in the Alsace region and welcomes us like a painting straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and home to the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s vehicle-free center and streets will be explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, where Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of the city and its most important structure, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still operating as a hotel and restaurant today, are among the sights we will see. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we set off for Freiburg, one of the most important examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is mainly by tram and bicycle, we will see the traces of the German, French, Austrian, Spanish, and Swedish historical and architectural cultures under whose rule the city has been throughout history. In our city tour of Freiburg, also known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), we will see the city’s most important symbol, Freiburg Cathedral, the charming streets with tiny water canals unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Gate, the medieval gate of the city, and Rathausplatz. ALSACE / BASEL – BERN – (By Train Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour) – GENEVA
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Bern. Bern is one of the few cities in Europe that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Due to this historical fabric, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located within Switzerland and with German as its official language, Bern also reflects German culture in its architecture. After our tour of Bern, which is built around the Aare River, guests who wish may join the optional By Train Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour will be Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, Interlaken is famous for its natural beauty and the breathtaking views of these landscapes. The region’s major hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are located along the walking tour route. The Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park are among the places we will see panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we move to the train station for our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After about a 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep structure of the valley and its steep rock walls as soon as we leave the station. While walking toward the village center, we will panoramically see the mesmerizing shape of Staubbach Falls descending toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its valley lined with small settlements and walking paths, home to 72 waterfalls. During our walk along the designated route in the village, we will take plenty of photos of the region’s traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and its heavenly landscapes. We complete the tour by returning to Interlaken. After the tour, we head to Geneva and upon arrival we arrange our city tour. Known as the “French city of Switzerland,” Geneva, located on the shores of Lake Geneva, is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes Geneva a central city in both cultural and administrative terms. In Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, the main sights during our tour include St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. After checking into our rooms, free time to rest.
GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we depart for Nice. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Nicknamed the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals running through it and the Thiou River, Annecy enchants visitors with its canal-based structure and its extraordinary location between mountains and a lake. During our tour of Annecy, the Château d’Annecy, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and the Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, are among the panoramic sights. After a short free time on the shores of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Nice. After arriving at our hotel in the Nice region, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day at leisure. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden sandy beaches. During our city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s original settlement. While walking through the narrow, winding, pedestrian streets of the old town, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to the old town, we continue along La Croisette Boulevard, home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street. After free time, we arrive in Nice. During our Nice tour, Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Palace of Justice are among the sights to be seen. After free time following the Nice tour, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the Côte d’Azur for its magnificent views, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test and buy beautiful and famous perfumes at affordable prices. Afterward, our second stop is the principality of Monaco, located on the French Riviera and the world’s second smallest state after the Vatican. Upon arrival, we will organize our panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the focal point of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region.
NICE – (Portofino by Boat Tour) – OUTLET – MILAN
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we set off for Milan. On the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino by Boat Tour (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino captivates visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. On the way, we will visit an outlet center. After free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, which is home to prestigious brands, cafes, restaurants, and recreational areas in Italy, a country that shapes world fashion trends, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan region. MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1212 at 11:45. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:25 local time and the end of the tour.
