ISTANBUL – BERGAMO – MILAN After arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s International Terminal 3 hours before departure and completing baggage drop, ticketing, and passport control procedures, we fly to Milan on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1211 at 08:50. Upon arrival at Milan Bergamo Airport at 10:10 local time, we depart for Milan city center to arrange our city tour. Milan, one of Europe’s fashion capitals, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right destination for shopping and dining experiences. During our city tour, the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romano will be among the main places to see. At the end of the Milan city tour, we proceed to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest. MILAN – (Como & Lugano Tour) – BERNINA EXPRESS / RED TRAIN – ST. MORITZ – HEIDI’S VILLAGES – ALSACE/BASEL After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, we head to Tirano for the unforgettable and dreamlike train journey on the Bernina railway line. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Como & Lugano Tour (80 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Como. Upon arrival, we visit Lake Como, famous for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, home to summer residences of Hollywood celebrities, Europe’s wealthy elite, and the world jet set, and we will take a photo break with the lake’s unique scenery. After a short free time in Como, we arrive in Lugano. In our tour, we will take a peaceful walk along the shores of Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, which will fascinate us with its unique nature, magnificent views, and city park, and we will enjoy the extraordinary scenery while photographing the beautiful landscape. After the tour, we continue our journey to Tirano. On this world-famous line, built between 1898 and 1904 and now listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, we will experience a fairytale journey that many travelers dream of, enjoying and photographing the extraordinary views. After an approximately 2-hour pleasant train journey, we arrive in St. Moritz, Switzerland’s natural wonder and a favorite destination of the jet set, and after free time and a short local sightseeing tour that can be arranged depending on the Bernina railway train schedule, we continue to our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region. During our panoramic drive through the landscapes of Heidi’s Villages, featuring vast mountains and green meadows, with images from the beloved character Heidi from our childhood—where she lived with her grandfather and best friend Peter in the Alps—we arrive at our hotel in the Alsace/Basel region, where room assignment and free time to rest are provided. ALSACE / BASEL – (Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour) – STRASBOURG – FREIBURG – ALSACE / BASEL After breakfast, we head to Strasbourg. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Alsace Pearls: Colmar & Riquewihr Tour (80 Euro). On our tour, we first travel to the fairy-tale town of Colmar, where we will see the Old Customs House, Pfister House, and the most famous district of the city, Petite Venise (Little Venice), with its colorful houses around the Rhine River. In the unique atmosphere surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will have the opportunity to enjoy many delicious foods according to your taste as well as buy numerous souvenirs. Our next stop is Riquewihr, famous for its vineyards, flower-filled balconies, distinctive rows of shops, cobblestone streets closed to car traffic, buildings that somehow escaped damage during World War II, and charming cafes; with its tower housing the Dolder Museum, which preserves the city’s history through documents, it resembles a Grimm fairy tale. After our visit to Riquewihr, we continue to Strasbourg. Located on the borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France, and also the largest city in the Alsace region, Strasbourg welcomes us like a painting straight out of a fairy tale. Added to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List in 1988 and home to the European Parliament since 1992, Strasbourg’s car-free center and streets will be explored on foot during our panoramic city tour, during which we will see Gutenberg Square and Statue, Notre Dame Cathedral, the city’s most important structure and located in its very heart, and Kammerzell House, the oldest house in the city and still serving as a hotel and restaurant today. After free time following the Strasbourg tour, we continue to Freiburg, one of the best examples of green urbanism. In Freiburg, where only low-carbon vehicles have been allowed since 2010 and transportation is largely provided by trams and bicycles, we will see traces of the city’s historical and architectural cultures shaped over time by Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Sweden. Known as the capital of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), our city tour in Freiburg will include Freiburg Cathedral, the city’s most important symbol, charming streets with small water channels unique to Freiburg, Martin’s Tor, the medieval city gate, and Rathausplatz. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Alsace region. ALSACE / BASEL – BERN – (Train Tour to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen) – GENEVA After breakfast and check-out, we head to Bern. Bern is one of the few medieval cities in Europe that has remained intact. Due to this historical texture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Located in Switzerland and officially German-speaking, Bern also reflects the influence of German culture in its architecture. After the tour in Bern, free time will be available; guests who wish may join the optional Train Tour to Swiss Alpine Villages: Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen (80 Euro). Our first stop is Interlaken. Named “inter-lakes” because it is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we will tour Interlaken, famous for its natural beauty and the mesmerizing views of these landscapes. The region’s major hotels, casinos, and shopping streets are along our walking route. Victoria Jungfrau Hotel, one of the city’s historical symbols, and Höhematte Park will be seen panoramically. After free time for photos and sightseeing, we proceed to the train station to visit our next stop, Lauterbrunnen. After an approximately 20-minute train ride from Interlaken, we arrive in Lauterbrunnen. We will feel the deep valley structure and steep rock walls as soon as we exit the station. While walking to the village center, we will panoramically see the enchanting form of Staubbach Falls cascading toward the valley floor and have the chance to photograph it. Lauterbrunnen is known for its valley lined with small settlements and walking paths, home to 72 waterfalls. As we walk along the designated route in the village, we will take many photos of the traditional chalet architecture, the natural formations surrounding the valley floor, and the heavenly natural scenery. We return to Interlaken to complete the tour. Afterwards, we head to Geneva and, upon arrival, we begin our city tour. Known as the “French side of Switzerland,” Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva and is a magnificent city where history, culture, science, and nature come together. The presence of the headquarters of international organizations such as CERN, the World Health Organization, UEFA, FIFA, and the United Nations makes Geneva an important cultural and administrative center. During our tour of Geneva, where museums, parks, historical monuments and streets, and clean air come together, the main places to see will be St. Pierre Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain, which has become a symbol of Geneva and rises up to 140 meters, and the Reformation Wall. After the city tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Geneva region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest. GENEVA – (Annecy Tour) – NICE After breakfast and check-out, we head to Nice. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Annecy Tour (50 Euro). Known as the “Venice of the Alps” thanks to the canals and the Thiou River passing through it, Annecy captivates visitors with its canal-based layout and extraordinary location between mountains and a lake. During our visit, Annecy Castle, built in the 17th century and restored in 1947, St. Maurice Church, and Palais de l’Isle, a favorite spot for photographers, will be seen panoramically. After a short free time by the shore of Lake Annecy, the third largest lake in France, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Nice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Nice region, room assignment and free time to rest. NICE – (Cannes & Nice Tour) – (Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish may join the optional Cannes & Nice Tour (70 Euro). On this tour, we first head to Cannes. Famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes has a sparkling sea and golden beaches. During our city tour, we first see the old town, the city’s original settlement. During our walk through its narrow, winding, car-free streets, we will have the chance to see souvenir shops and shop. After our visit to La Croisette Boulevard, which runs along Cannes’ coast and is home to many luxury restaurants, shops, and hotels, and Meynadier Street, we enjoy free time before arriving in Nice. In our Nice tour, places to see include Promenade des Anglais, Nice Port, Massena Square, Flower Market, and the Courthouse. After our Nice tour, during the free time provided, guests who wish may join the optional Eze & Monaco & Monte Carlo Tour (80 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Eze Village, one of the most famous villages on the magnificent Côte d’Azur, where we visit a perfume factory where you can test various beautiful and famous perfumes and purchase them at reasonable prices. After the tour, our second stop is Monaco, the world’s second smallest country after the Vatican, located on the French Riviera, and upon arrival we will conduct a panoramic city tour of Monte Carlo, the center of luxury and splendor. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Nice region. NICE – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – OUTLET – MILAN After breakfast and check-out, we set off for Milan. Along the way, guests who wish may join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Surrounded by colorful houses and inspiring songs with its beauty, Portofino enchants visitors with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean scenery. After our Portofino visit, we continue our journey to Milan. Along the way, we will visit an outlet center. After free time for pleasant and affordable shopping at the famous outlet center, home to prestigious stores, cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, in a country that leads the world fashion trend, we arrive at our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival at the hotel, room assignment and free time to rest. MILAN – BERGAMO – ISTANBUL After breakfast and check-out, we head to Bergamo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing baggage drop, check-in, and passport control procedures, we fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight PC1212 at 11:45. Arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 15:25 local time and end of our tour.
